I requested the boiler service for either before 10:00 or after 13:30. The engineer phoned me this morning and said he would be there just before 9am, and he was. Absolutely perfect, great of them to be able to accommodate my awkward time schedule.

The engineer did not phone me to tell…
The engineer did not phone me to tell me he was here; I was in, and I am not deaf. He left me a text and a card to say he had been there but was moved on by a traffic warden. If he had phoned me, I could have arranged a parking permit there and then. What a waste of my time.
