Tried to charge me full price for a "try before you buy" order. What sense does "try before you buy" make then if I get charged anyway just to make it more difficult in case I need to return the product? Was going to buy here but this threw me off.

First of all, the quality is incredible. The foundation feels luxurious, and the free foundation brush that came with it is genuinely premium, the bristles are so soft, beautifully made, and not a single hair has fallen out at all! It applies makeup so smoothly. I also received a free eyeliner as a gift, and wow the quality is superb, glides on perfectly and stays put beautifully. All their products are truly top tier.
If you’re thinking of ordering — do it! Amazing products, incredible quality, and the best customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. 10/10, will absolutely be back! 🥰

I ordered the try before you buy foundation.
I mistakenly managed to order three times, problems with my paypal.
I reached out to the team who responded swiftly and where extremley helpful.
The issue was resolved very quickly and way above my expectations.
This is how on line customer service should be.
The foundation is full size and the trial period is 14 days, much more than I'd expect on both counts.
Only used it once so far, but early signs are I'll be keeping it.
The shade matching on line was easy and thourough, I reckon they have really helped me get it right.
Early days, but positive so far.
Overall IL MAKIAGE are a great company to buy from in my opinion.

A total scam, trying to steal your money!
A total scam.
Their advertising is incredibly aggressive.
I got an ad for one of their new products, which I was supposedly going to receive “for free” after passing a test. I passed it, and at checkout the product did indeed show up as completely free of charge. The only amount I was officially told I had to pay was €4.95 for shipping to a postal address via the local postal service in France.
When I proceeded to checkout, the total displayed was €4.95. I was cautious, so I used one of my online bank cards. After entering my card information and pressing “Pay” for the €4.95 shipping charge stated above, they attempted to charge me €159!
Thankfully, the payment didn’t go through because I didn’t have enough money on that card.
I have never experienced something like this from an official brand before. Beware of this “free product” scheme. Attempting to charge €159 when the checkout explicitly displayed €4.95 is absolutely insane.
