Before I ordered 3 sets of lights I had not seen the trust pilot reviews and to be honest I don't tend to read them as you will always get a mixed bag. All I can say is that my experience has been very positive and all lights were delivered within 7 days and are excellent quality. I did not realise the company was based in Germany and that may have changed my mind; however I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Thank you

I Use At your peril ! I certainly would not ignore the bad reviews as someone has suggested here ! I wish I had read them !! Probably a fake review!as so far there is absolutely nothing genuine about this shambolic outfit.
I ordered an expensive light , has never arrived, inaccurate tracking information and now struggling to get a refund , I have now had to ask PayPal to step in and I will be reporting this company to the trading standards as they should not be permitted to operate in the UK , it is NOT a uk company as their website suggests which is also misleading!
You have been warned!

This company has terrible customer service, I placed an order, but within an hour I wanted to cancel as despatch of my goods was 10 business days, something that I missed when I initially placed my order. I messaged them straight away via their website, again the following day, emailed them, messaged via Messinger and not one reply during their business day. They give you a phone number on their site but DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!
Let’s hope they cancel my order before it’s despatched and I don’t have to make a return. 😡😡

Great quality lights, ignore the bad reviews! I've ordered from Illuminated a few times, beautiful lamps and lights. Accidentally broke some shades and customer service helped me with replacement and Dominik was very quick at sorting things out!

I do not even know where to begin I made an order of £552.90 and they are trying to refund me £389.89 after at least a dozen emails chasing them like an idiot because nobody replies, nobody seems to have a clue what one end of the company are doing to the other end!
I woukd like to know where the other £163.01 is!!!
on the day that I was told I was being refunded I also received four emails saying that my product was being dispatched.
I am now at work trained to do my job while chasing for the 50 I believe and on my 11th email to them chasing for the £163.01 that I am still owed.
Bearing in mind I haven't actually received anything into my account yet just emails saying that I will even though it's short changed

Absolutely brilliant service, no customs charges, quick delivery. No problem at all. Really good quality too

It was our first time ordering from this company, we ordered 7 lights and they all came on time with a good tracking system. If we had any questions they always responded to us very quickly. We paid the custom fee in advance and the money was back in my account very quickly. Overall we had a great experience with this company.

Well I am only writing this review as if I had read the previous reviews before ordering I would have never committed. Yes your not going to get next day delivery as it's a German based company, after a week waiting I emailed them after reading the reviews, the next day I
received a well written polite response and a tracking link, and it was delivered that day. Beautiful packaged and a lovely product. I can't fault them in anyway.

My advice is DON'T buy any product from illumination.co.uk
I bought a flood stand light. When it arrived it didn't look as nice as in the photo. The matt nickel finish looked cheap.. the lamp is cumbersome, not really nice enough for a sitting room... more for a factory office. I have contacted the company several times on their online contact form. They haven't bothered to reply. When you email the UK email address a reply comes back saying it isn't monitored (but that's where they send their emails from, although they are not in England at all. They are in Germany. I think it's a scam

I am very pleased with the two fan lights that arrived from Germany and the only problem I had was with my own mistake during installation and in a tizz I requested a return but had a niggle in the back of my mind that may have been something I was doing wrong, but, I was immediately given a shipping label, no problem, then I looked into what was wrong with an electrician friend of mine and knew for certain that I was the cause and the issue was sorted.
I emailed their headquarters in Germany and they sent me a very gracious email, full of understanding and kind words.
As for the products, I purchased two fan lights that, for the money, were very impressive and look like they cost a lot more than the £90+ we paid for each.
I saw one review here complaining about this company being based in Germany.
Ridiculous assertion really, as some of the best engineering (& fan lights!) come from there.
For me, this company are a pleasure to deal with and supply quality lights & I rate them highly.

I made the mistake of ordering several sets of lights with the shades. But I also ordered round light bulbs for each light, which unkowingly to me will not fit with the shades of the lights because they are too big. I spent £317 and they did not have the courtesy to advise me that the bulbs would not fit. I need some more lights but am very reluctant to order again because the Website is not that clear as to what you are ordering. I of the light sources is damaged and whilst they have said they will replace or refund this, they have not told me the next steps or sent me a return label.

Great product I love the two new lights for my kitchen i ordered them on the 3rd of March they got delivered on the 13th March.

UK website address but based in Germany. Chased my order due 3 weeks ago, they are not responding to any form of contact and their telephone number is a premium rate line.
Buyer beware, I’ve been scammed.

Review for illumination.co.uk. a lighting company. 6 weeks ago I decided to invest in 2 new pendants lights from this company. I thought i had found those special finishing touches that I was after. They have taken my money and run. I have sent several messages via their online form( the only way to contact them as the ☎️ no. they list plays a msg saying calls aren't taken) I don't know if they have gone bust or are just vile scammers. I will now try and get my money back. What a terrible experience.

Waited two months for my lights to arrive only to be told I'd have to wait for another month.
Initially I was told two to four weeks.
I did get a refund on request so I believe the company to be legit however they are a German company not based in the UK.
