Intensive Courses Driving School Reviews 

Having booked them after speaking with Noel who seemed both professional and a decent person, I was nothing but messed around by Intensive driving courses.
They’re documentation once you have paid a deposit states don’t leave lessons late up until your test. You then attempt to book these, however the instructor will then not book you in when you ask, will also request to cancel your lessons last minute, and only book lessons in right before your test, or change locations to suit them. Not once taking you on the route where your test would be.

I appreciate each instructor has their own style having had to go to another school entirely, but this teacher not only didn’t take me to the correct areas, but also had a car which was not functioning correctly. Making it almost impossible in that car to learn to use the clutch. I then requested to change to an automatic, based on the urgency at which I needed the licence and had been forced to have to move my existing test as not enough lessons could be completed.
I was given contact details to another driver. Who was simply rude, and it was clear that there was no way that I could work with that person.
Having been assured by the original instructor that they would refund the unused lessons which had been paid at a premium of 50% more than the hourly rate charged, and despite not requesting any of those funds back, they refused to pay these funds. I more than once asked them to honour what they had stated, but they chose to insist on returning only the cost of the £62 not the additional £270 paid.
Having booked an 18 hour course with them and then paying the instructor for additional 6 hours lessons I didn’t even do 12 hours with them. I didn’t ask for any of the 18 hours back, which of course they didn’t refund. The driving instructor stated they would categorically return the money for the extra 6 hours. I was also told by Noel that he would sort this out. However unsurprisingly they claim I took these lessons. I did not! I took 12 hours with them and paid for 24! 6 of which were charged at a premium.
I can on say that anyone looking to obtain their licence quickly and with a company that is honest and transparent, this company unfortunately is not. Having to organise getting a license is a stressful process and this company not only added to it, but will charge you a very high price to do so.
I’m sorry to have to write this, but this was honestly my experience of the company and would not want someone else to experience this when trying to achieve something for their life.
It is a shame that Noel has the instructors he does working for him, and if he chooses to use them, then he needs to accept that he will have to provide far better customer service as all this experience has been is stressful and a huge waste of money.

Can’t recommend Jay enough.
A really calm, helpful, patient instructor who recognises your weaknesses and how to improve them.

Surprising what a google search can do. I was a bit skeptical at first but with a bit of research I ended up giving intensive courses a go. Best thing I’ve done, from booking in, to my first lessons; seamlessly smooth operation.

I went for the 18 hour course instead of 14 hour, following Noel’s advice, better safe than sorry ay. My instructor, George - What a man!
Easy going, attentive to my needs and well articulated. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I passed first time at Barking. Words are not enough to describe how thankful I am. Highly recommend George if you’re in East London.

Tried to learn how to drive when I was 19, failed my test miserable and gave up. Fast forward *ahem* a couple of decades and I’ve passed after a 45 hour intensive with these guys. I work abroad and have very restricted availability for what I can do but intensive courses driving school made it work and found me a test swiftly. Their driving instructor Elaine was AMAZING, taught manoeuvres in a really clear way, endlessly patient and pushed always for me to be a better safer and more competent driver, taking me on progressively more challenging routes to build my confidence. Passed with three minors today! Thanks Elaine!

Rif was amazing got me passed ASAP good conversations and made the lessons enjoyable.

The instructor, Rajesh, was incredible. He knows exactly what he’s doing and he knows how to deliver information. Everything is clear and simple. I got my license in 34 hours of driving.

Ravi is an amazing instructor. He made me feel confident in my abilities and helped me pass on my first attempt. I would highly recommend Ravi!! Thanks again for all your help :-)

Michael was the best driver instructor, not only did he make me feel comfortable, and confident he pushed me to do better. I passed me driving test first time with Michael as my instructor. I would recommend Michael to anyone who is ready to start driving :)

I passed today first time with two minors. This was all thanks to my instructor Jay who made sure that I was super prepared for my test. He was excellent at focussing on what I was good at and what needed work, so we would repeat things that I struggled with until they were sorted. He is super patient and very encouraging, and it made all the difference to my confidence. He is super knowledgeable of the test routes and surrounding areas so you will not get caught out - I was rerouting on my test due to a road block but we had driven on the roads before so I knew exactly what to expect! Thank you Jay.

Musaffar was the best teacher I could have asked for. He was strict when he needed to be but also knew how to make our lessons enjoyable. Intensive courses helped me pass my test the first time and made the whole process very easy.

Simple to sign up, and the instructor Steve was great!

I have a driving license from a different country for almost 20 years, and I had to get a new one in the UK.
The crash courses they offer were exactly the right thing for me.
It took them a few weeks to find a test slot in Tottenham, and it was scheduled 5 month after the initial course purchase. There are other services that do that more efficiently, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me.
You pay upfront for the test and the scheduling fee.
Then, roughly two months before the test, they match you with an instructor who books all the lessons in advance. That worked beautifully! I could arrange that around work and there were no last minute changes.
The instructor, Yousouff, was really kind, pleasant, communicative and helpful in understanding the main points for the test and how to adjust my style to the UK.
I passed the test (1st attempt) with a single minor.

Intensive Courses were easy to deal with and responded to everything quickly and as needed. But what I want to give a true 5 star to is my wonderful instructor Shamsuddin Ahmed. Shams is calm, kind, respectful and great at communicating. He really listens and works with what you need, as well as being incredibly helpful and good at teaching. I passed on my first attempt! Cannot recommend him enough.

Managed to get 24 hours under my belt after a little driving experience in the past and passed the test with no faults!
Steve was an excellent instructor, prepared me so well & made the whole learning experience something to look forward to.
Great experience all round can't recommend enough!
