Ordering simple, product as described, smooth transaction.

Ordered a GearBotix Robot. It arrived in a jiffy bag with no box or other protective wrapping and was of course broken. Although the company give the impression that they are British and returns are easy, there is actually no direct way to return items and the company is based in Hong Kong which says it all. Putting this one down to a bad experience!

I bought a new backpack for my grandchild returning to school. Within a few days the backpack zip had failed. So had the zip on the pencil case which came with it.
I emailed and asked for a refund as a replacement would take too long to arrive. Because the item had been delivered over 30 days ago, even though it had only been used for a few days and it broke, they refused a refund.
Terrible customer service and is this against trading standards? Anyone know?

It seems I am one of the lucky ones. My purchases arrived in good time and on careful inspection they’re of decent quality - but are clearly copies of toys from more reputable companies; for example the ‘Montessori matching eggs’ are copied from a genuine Montessori product and are NOT the same quality (or price).
I was suckered by the name into thinking this was a UK-based company and alarm bells rang when I was directed to their website ‘for an extra discount if you add something to your basket’ but it took me to a website priced in dollars.

**AVOID** Absolutely shocking company. Cheap plastic toy sold at an inflated price. Arrived damaged, had to pay for postage back to china from the uk. Definitely a scammer. Do not give these people your money

Only 1 out of my 2 items was delivered, I expected the other item to arrive separately but it never did. When I contacted customer service they basically called me a liar and wouldn’t send me the missing item. Why I would lie about a £8 child’s toy I do not know so buyers beware! Wish I had read the reviews before ordering!

I received parcel after one day I contacted for return but they refused and said you pay delivery charges. Send it back china . On advertisement they show 30 days free return. I contacted many times not any answer. Full scam way taking money. Unprofessional response . I don’t know how I got my money back.

The product wasn’t up to standard for children it was advertised for. Says uk but came from China & the return would be back to China. They only offer 20% refund if you don’t send back, postage will be expensive! Only bought as expected it to be in UK

Received my grandson’s gift too late for his birthday. The item was in a cardboard box and shipped in a plastic cover so was badly bashed on all corners and not fit to give as a gift. They’ve been attentive and have asked me to return it but they don’t pay postage. Told them I’m not paying it as the item arrive damaged. Just checked and they’re based in China! I wouldn’t have ordered had I known this. It’s obviously not going to be worth any postage back SO BEWARE AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Italy’s are cheap tat. NO CE OR UKCA a safety marks proving items are not safe for babies. No response from company having to do chargeback as good not fit for purpose.

I ordered a toy for my grandson when it arrived the box was broken do when I looked in the box the train was pieces I have contacted her numerous times with videos and pictures through customer service and not chat and still nothing absolutely appalling customer services now my grandson has no present as she wouldn’t refund me and I’m on a budget

I have never experienced customer service quite like this.

I have now sent at least eight emails explaining exactly the same issue, yet Jackies Kids continue to completely avoid answering the question I am actually asking.

The items I received are poor, tatty quality and materially different from the photographs and description used to advertise them. I am therefore returning them because they are not as described — this is absolutely not a case of me simply changing my mind.

My question has been very straightforward: if I am returning goods because they are materially not as described or advertised, will Jackies Kids cover the return postage?

Instead of answering that question, I repeatedly receive the same generic response telling me that return postage is the customer’s responsibility. I have explained numerous times that I am not asking about their standard change-of-mind returns policy. I am asking about goods that I believe are not as advertised.

I have also asked at least six times to speak to a manager. Despite this, nobody has contacted me, nobody has escalated the matter and nobody appears willing to properly address my complaint.

How many times does a customer have to ask the same simple question before someone actually reads what they have written?

The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. Mistakes can happen with products, but what is particularly disappointing is the complete lack of accountability and the refusal to properly engage with a legitimate complaint.

Eight emails, repeated explanations and six requests for a manager — and still no proper answer.

Based on my experience, I would think very carefully before ordering from this company.

The item was delivered in good time. I bought it for my great grandson who is 2 and he loves it Would buy again and l highly recommend Jackie’s kids

I purchased 2 packets of 5 potty training pants. I could have bought exactly the same from Temu for a fraction of the cost. Although I could have returned the items , it would have been at my own expense. They offer you 20% discount , which unfortunately I had to take as I wasn’t paying for postage back to China

The potty training pants are not waterproof,as claimed. There is only what appears to be cotton wadding, so urine runs straight through.
I will not be purchasing from Jackie’s Kids again

No star review would never use this company again

Arrived pretty quick to be fair after reading others experiences mine arrived in less than a week, box was a bit battered, expected better packaging, it’s a birthday present for my grandson so have yet to find out if all bits are intact
I ordered after stupidly not researching properly so my own fault, I won’t order from this site again!!

I bought the pink car plate with cup and cutlery, extremely pleased with it. My great granddaughter loves it.

the cost of the item is high to the quality of the products that arrive.
It was a fund item for my nephew as he likes cars and playing but it was a very poor platic product

Terrible cheap, broken products, dangerous for kids. They're straight from a chinese factory, poor quality. Don't let the Instagram ads fool you. They also don't offer refunds.

I didn't realise that this is not a UK based company and by the time the item arrived I had forgotten that I had ordered it to be honest, about 3 weeks, which I feel is excessive, especially if you needed for a timed occasion, but having said that, the item is of quite good quality and arrived unscathed. Due to the delivery wait time I probably won't order from them again.
