Despite scheduling directly with the Waldorf office, wait times were excessive and service was unprofessional. On my first visit, I waited over 30 minutes and was told my taxes could be completed.When I called back after two days, my taxes were still not done.

I rescheduled a second appointment, only to arrive and find the assigned preparer absent with no notification or estimated return time, resulting in another long wait.

This location demonstrates poor communication, mismanagement, and repeated delays. I cannot recommend this office for timely or reliable service.

We usually do our taxes, but this year and within the past couple weeks we had a lot going on. We decided to go back Jackson Hewitt Southside Walmart. Amanda Greear was phenomenal! Awesome personality, great customer service and very friendly! She took care of us and explained things we didn't understand. When I goofed up on something, she called to let me know and I sent what she asked and she took care of the rest and made she all was good.

My taxes were completed at a Jackson Hewitt branch; I was then given instructions how to access my account so that I could see my completed tax return and print a copy on my printer. I followed the instructions precisely. I could not get to my account or access my completed tax return. I tried calling customer service twice. Neither person was able to help me. I returned to the local office and asked them if they could help access my online account since I couldn't. One of the tax preparers said the people in the office had nothing to do with the jacksonhewitt website, and they couldn't do anything.

Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone, or if you do, make sure they print out a hard copy of your tax return and give you an electronic file of it. However, I doubt whether they can do the latter. If you want to waste four days simply trying to get a print out of the tax return the company completed for you, by all means use this company.

I got wrong decision with Jackson Hewitt Tax service 2026 at white bear lake. I won’t get back with them.

The worst decision of my life!! The preparer was new. She didn't even put my overtime in. Now I got to do Amended tax return. I hate that I even decided to give them a try.

Heather Turner at 817 N. Tyndal Parkway had been doing my taxes for many years. She always goes out of her way to give me tips and advice on how to work my income to have better chances of getting refunds instead of owing. Heather has also been very gracious in helping when I got in a mix up with Market Place Health Ins. As well as getting me my docs needed when refing my home. Shes always willing to lend a helping hand or advice any way she can.

I would never ever go back to Jackson Hewitt again. Had problems with them messing things up 3 years in a row now. I’m done with them I will go back to my old place. All I can say is don’t go to Jackson Hewitt

Terrible customer service and over priced charging for services, that is what I experienced from Jackson Hewitt. I have filed my own taxes for many years, but this year I decided to have Jackson Hewitt prepare my federal return. I went to the Melbourne, FL location on Wickham Road. I was told that as a new customer I would get a "New Customer" rate of $149. When it came time to pay them, they ran my card and charged me $436.00. I received a pop-up notification from my bank while still at the JH office, so I immediately brought the overcharging to their attention on the spot. They recognized that this was a mistake and that they would refund the over-charged amount. Then I was told that it (the refund) would have to be done by someone named Amanda. It has now been 9 (NINE) days and still no refund. I have lost count of the number of times I have called JH Customer Service, each time being told that they are working on it. I have stopped by the JH location on four occasions and each time I have been told that Patrick, or Amanda will call me. There has been zero action on their part. I also identified a mistake on my return that they missed, which they did correct, but I don't really trust their accuracy when I am the one that caught the error and not them. Overall, it has been a slap in the face and I regret ever trusting them to do the right thing. Please consider this and take your business elsewhere, as their Customer Service is not going to help you if they make mistakes.

Good experience last year. No one showed up for the appointment this year. I waited an hour at Walmart then called. No answer. Then customer service was willing to reschedule me somewhere else. If they can’t be trusted to show up, they can’t be trusted to do my taxes. I’ll try it myself or go to another company.

We filed our taxes with Jackson Hewitt last year because they were offering a deal of $129 to get your taxes done. The experience seemed unprofessional but it was the end of March and we knew they were probably tired. When he finished he let us know that if we hadn't take advantage of the deal it would have been over $800 to get ours done.

So this year we started getting promo texts and emails about getting federal done for $179 for federal. When I contacted them to ask about the price they tried to say that I don't qualify because I was there last year (but the texts and emails said I was selected - THEY sent me the emails KNOWING we were there last year), and they wouldn't tell us how much state was going to be until after they were finished. I don't see how they can expect us to go in not knowing how much it would be, when they quoted us that it would have been over $800. I would not suggest Jackson Hewitt to anyone. It just seems shady.

So after reading reviews I am pleasantly surprised to see that I am not the only one that has complaints about Jackson Hewitt. My wife and I have used them for 10 years or better. Last Saturday We dropped our information off to get our taxes done. Nobody called, so we checked today to see if there were problems or if they were done. Not only were they not done they could not find the information we left them. We waited 45 minutes while they tried to find everything, then another hour getting them prepped. Finally, sticker shock, $500 to prep taxes. Doubled from the year before. I should be thankful because I see someone posting her paid $900. I do not understand the price difference everyone is facing and I find it to be questionable at best. Needless to say this is one person that will not use them again. I am considering contacting the better business bureau.

Dakota was very patient, knowledgeable and EXTREMELY KIND in my experience. She helped me to understand the process and procedures of tax filing and made the experience amazing! I LOVE HER

Why would you give customers this no good prepaid card that are USELESS. I can't activate it. I've never in my life had to VERIFY with IRS.GOV that I was the individual filling my own taxes. Filed over a month ago. I think this entire process has been awful and I will never in life again use Jackson Hewitt service. I will absolutely NOT recommend anyone I know to use this service. Just HORRIBLE

The worst service I’ve ever experienced this year with card services. Absolutely horrendous. Every time I try to use my card it locks and I catch use it! I haven’t been able to use the card since I got the card with my name on it. So lady says it need a new card. Says if I want it expedited I have to pay $5! Like what I have to pay case yall gave me a bad card. Then I have to wait 10 days! Never got to use the second advance. Taxes hit the day after I order a new card. 9 days later I activate it. Finally can use my money. NOT!!!!!! Now I have to wait 24 hrs for my card to be ready! I will not ever and I mean ever use this place again! Feees are double now! Like am I at H&R Block?

$289.00 after they took $100.00 off to do my taxes, my last time going with them.

My wife and I had our taxes done at Walmart at a Jacksin Hewitt station. After 1 hour of preperation he said we owed 315 dollars. We asked if he had our deductions from my door dash job in there. He then called someone to help him and took another hour and charged us 684.95 dollars to do the taxes. Oh we did get the 100 dollars off that fir a grand total of 584.95 for preparation.

I will not be filling my taxes with this company next year with all the unexpected fees my taxes was extremely low this year and I been filing with this company for years…its a no for me now on
