J Bear Properties have taken something that can take months to do sometimes even close to a year and complete the sale of my grandfather’s property in a month, without any of the hassle or element of risk of the sale falling through at any time. Their streamlined straightforward service finally gave myself and my family the closure we had been looking for, after numerous attempts of trying to sell on the open market. We would like to especially thank James and Charlie who took us through the process from the beginning to the end. They showed a lot of professionalism and were very knowledgeable. They also showed a lot of understanding to the situation we were in. They ensured that we were well informed about the process, answering all the questions that we had, and updated us on a regular basis.

In short, we were very happy with experience we had with the J Bear Team and would recommend to all! Thank you for all your help!

Working with J Bear Properties to sell our home was hassle free, stress free and quick. From the moment we said go the team at J Bear Properties moved exceptionally fast towards completion, whilst maintaining their professionalism and their patience with us. Seriously DO NOT waste your time with this company!

It all started well with initial conversations with Charlie and James and we were going along well and happy (ish)with the initial quote from them, and selling our property quickly was something that worked well for us.

There was an initial delay from the solicitors but once that was sorted. There was delay after delay, with me doing a lot of chasing with today me finally having the conversation to proceed where they reduced the offer by a 23K! And that is on top of the 30K under the listing price!

Communication from them has been at best poor!

James and Charlie were very easy to deal with. Very reliable. Easy to get hold of if you need to talk to them.
If problems arose they were always fully explained and dealt with.
If I had another house that was a problem to sell I would have no hesitation in using them again.

DO NOT GO with this company, they RIP you off!! They took so long to go through the process and they say they are quick. The solicitor they told us to use were useless, I would definitely not go with this company or any company for that matter.

I wanted to sell my home quickly and contacted J Bear Properties. They were transparent and easy to work with. The process was fast and had no hidden fees.

If you’re looking to sell your property quickly without all of the hassle, I would highly recommend J Bear Properties!

We contacted J bear properties after receiving a letter posted through the door of the property we were selling.
The property had been advertised with an estate agent so all pictures of the property could be seen online.
We were offered an amount from j bear properties which was obviously lower then we had for sale through the estate agents but were happy to accept.
James told us what would happen no cost to pay and the amount we were going to get pending a survey.
After the solicitors paperwork was all completed and we were near the timescale agreed for completion a surveyor was then appointed to view the property standard procedure although we wondered why it wasn’t done at the beginning of the process.
After the survey we were contacted by James and he said that the surveyor had picked up damp on a corner of a wall.
We disputed that then he went to say the surveyor had said the windows would need replacing.
After this he then quoted us a figure £50,000 less then what was agreed.
We obviously declined as we knew the house was worth the original price we were told at the very beginning .
We put it back on the market with the estate agents and they sold it for us at a much higher price than j bear properties offered.
No Damp was picked up by the buyers surveyor and the windows did not prove to be a problem either.

I would highly recommend J Bear properties . They did everything they promised from start to finish , always contactable , no fees to pay and completed on the date agreed , can’t fault the service …

They kept their promise to buy the property. It took a little longer and was for less than originally stated but they were easy to contact, friendly, helpful and answered questions openly and promptly. The independent solicitor and estate agent provided were also helpful.

I spoke to Charlie and was impressed by his straightforward explanation of their services and how they work. He was friendly and professional and I would be very confident in the process under his guidance.
I only left 4 stars as unfortunately we weren't able to proceed as we couldn't make the sums add up...

Really pleased with the service from J Bear Properties. We had our property on the market for almost a year with a local agent to us without much luck at all. After speaking with J Bear Properties we had completed the sale to them less than a month later.

The team was very patient with us, answered all of our questions and kept us updated throughout. They covered our solicitors fees also as an additional bonus – would highly recommend J Bear Properties to anyone looking to sell their property directly to a cash buyer.

Honestly don’t waste your time and money. Dragged me out 6 weeks to then finally offer me £40,000 less that what was first offered and accepted it took them six weeks to finally make the decision that there wasn’t a very big garden, no off road parking and the front door stepped out onto the pavement (it’s a detached town house) which you could tell all of this off the pictures online.
Wasted 6 weeks of my time and £1700 solicitors fees. Company is a con, neither is it a cash buying company. Stay clear.

We decided to use James Bear Properties to secure an offer on our home to ensure we could still purchase the home we really wanted after our original offer fell through part way through the process. We were dubious to use a company like this after reading reviews of similar companies online but the entire process was quick, fair and ended up allowing us to move into our dream home. The original offer from James Bear Properties was reduced after a third party valuation but we were very happy with the local surveyor chosen and agreed with everything they reported and the valuation. At the end of the day, companies like this exist to make a profit so you need to be realistic with your expectations but if the finances work, the process is excellent. We firstly dealt with Charlie and then once the offer was accepted, dealt with James. Both Charlie and James were professional, friendly and clear with their communication and overall fantastic people to deal with. The complete process was very quick and flexible and everything went smoothly, right through to completion. Thank you Charlie and James for helping us get to our next home.

Having eventually decided to go down the root we did and responded to a letter posted at my late Moms property by JBear Properties.co.uk, we have been totally impressed by the service and professionalism of James. He is a very amiable and totally honest person who I truly believe did his utmost to get the best outcome for us.
Should you be thinking of using their services don’t hesitate, I should imagine they would be very hard to be beaten.

From the outset this was a great company to deal with. The initial response to our call was warm and friendly. Our contact, James was really helpful, friendly, always available to answer questions and kept both of us
thoroughly up to date throughout. The price we were offered was disappointing but fair, especially taking in to account that they took all the work involved in
selling the property off our shoulders. It was also impressively quick considering the time it usually takes to sell a property and the outcome was guaranteed. Completion involved a bit of to and fro with the solicitors but otherwise it was totally trouble free. We would have no hesitation in using them again and thoroughly recommend them.

I spoke to several cash home buyer companies and I felt James at J Bear was the best. Not just the best cash offer but the most personal, professional and efficient in communication, knowledge and advice. A change of circumstances meant I did not sell my house through cash home buyer companies but J Bear would have been my first choice if I went ahead.
