Congrats on the great hiring
The staff in your Bondi Junction store were warm, amusing, genuinely interested and enthusiastic about my purchase. They created a lovely atmosphere in what was a very elevated shopping experience. I have sent a half a dozen friends to that store to make the same purchase because I was very impressed by the bag and the brand.

Return stuck at customs
I live in Canada. I purchased two items: the carry on and carry on essential. I kept the carry on essential and returned the carry on. My return is stuck in customs and FedEx has sent me forms to fill out and forms for July fill out. I have been trying to get a hold of July customer service to get them to fill out a form and they haven’t gotten back to me. Very frustrating. I have no clue when this issue will be resolved

Warranty Issue
I bought a Trunk Plus just over a year ago and a cabin bag recently. I had a warranty issue with the trunk on a recent trip and the customer service was first class. A couple of uploaded videos and a quick turnaround review and all was resolved. A suitable replacement or gift card was immediately offered.
The product is great to use but the customer service is just as good. Brand building stuff from them, Thank you

AVOID JULY AT ALL COSTS !
I purchased luggage from July based on their prominently advertised “100-day returns to decide if it’s right for you.” Within that window, I attempted to return the item.
July denied the return, claiming the product must be completely unused—despite marketing language that reasonably implies the ability to evaluate the product. Comparable brands in this category explicitly allow trial use.
I believe the return policy is misleading and was applied in bad faith. I acted reasonably and within the stated return window.
Additionally, the luggage is so so poorly made and heavy. Avoid at all costs! They are frauds!

My husband and I travel a lot
My husband and I travel a lot, and we got really tired of needing to hunt for a particular piece of clothing or personal care item.
These travel organizers will be great. We'll try them out in February.
Bad quality and horrible customer service
I ordered the new version of the checked luggage with a built-in tracker. I unboxed the luggage and tried to set up the tracker on my phone but the first thing I noticed was that the instructions on the website for Android were completely wrong. I eventually figured it out but the tracker would't connect to my phone and it looked like it was malfunctioning.
I contacted customer support and it took a few days to finally hear back. They asked for more information and even a video of the issue but provided no help whatsoever. The customer service rep kept pushing me to bring the suitcase into the store which is an hour away. I refused and after going back and for almost a week, eventually we agreed that I'm going to ship the suitcase back to them after my trip. That still wasn't a satisfactory resolution as I wouldn't be able to track my suitcase on my trip which is a feature I paid extra for.
I decided to troubleshoot myself and after about 20 minutes of googling I was able to find a solution. It took all of 30 seconds to fix but the customer support was completely clueless and the little advice they gave me was actually the exact opposite of the correct solution. If I wasted an afternoon dragging the suitcase back to the store so that they can easily fix it in 30s I would be furious. So the tracker is functional despite the 'help' from customer support. They seem to have no knowledge of the products they are selling and they will tell you anything just to make you someone else's problem. Horrible experience, would not recommend dealing with this company.
Too many inconsistencies and contradictions
This review concerns an order placed on Nov 30 for personalized luggage, with fulfillment expected according to the company’s stated timelines; instead, the order showed as “on its way” and “delivered” even though the suitcases had not shipped and personalization was not complete. Different support agents gave contradictory explanations (delivered, out for delivery, still in personalization), and as a result the order status remained a total mystery until I pushed for accurate order status. July’s stated timelines are 7 business days for personalization plus 3–6 business days for shipping, which meant personalization should have been complete by Dec 9 and delivery should have occurred by Dec 17; as of Dec 16, the suitcases have not even begun the shipping process, and there is no evidence that personalization has ever even begun. Despite missing its stated fulfillment timeline, the company did not proactively communicate its failure to fulfill and ship the order as promised at the time of purchase. Furthermore, even after escalation, the tracking interface continued to show the suitcases as “on its way” despite confirmation that they had not shipped. Customer service simply offered verbal assurances of delivery by Dec 24 and cited a supposed upgrade request for express shipping, and demonstrated zero concrete steps to correct shipment status or fulfillment.
July allowed false shipment progress to remain visible to the customer and substituted verbal assurances for corrective action. Inconsistent customer support responses and inaccurate tracking were allowed to persist, and the company’s repeated failure to correct errors demonstrates a systemic lack of reliability.
Amazing customer service
I have ordered from July many times and always found the shipping to be very quick, often arriving the next day. Unfortunately, one of my recent orders was delayed, but Maddie from the Customer Service team was amazing at keeping me updated daily and even provided some complementary packing cubes as an apology for the delay. She was also incredibly helpful when I came to exchange one of my cases. I can’t fault the customer service.

Great discovery for me
I bought this July suitcase on short notice while walking through a mall and needing luggage immediately. I was not familiar with the brand at the time, but after using it on multiple trips, it has completely won me over.
The first thing that stands out is the build quality. The suitcase feels extremely durable while still being lightweight, which is exactly what you want when navigating airports and flights. It has handled planes, baggage handling, and general travel abuse without any visible wear or structural issues. The wheels glide smoothly and make moving through terminals effortless, and the handle feels solid and well engineered rather than cheap or wobbly.
Overall, this is a very well-built, practical suitcase that performs exactly as it should. It is tough, light, and easy to handle, and it has proven itself quickly as a reliable travel companion. I would not hesitate to buy July again.
