I purchased this bag on 23 August and by 14 September the corner already had a chunk missing from it, another appearing later in September. I was using the tote as a work bag for a standard office job. Nothing of significance occurred during the short period of use to warrant the damage. Given the price point, I could have easily purchased a leather bag that would have lasted numerous years before sustaining this type of damage. I am told that given it is not a manufacturing fault, it is not eligible for a warranty claim however, I will never waste my money at July again, and will certainly be encouraging others to avoid it.

July suitcases are cheaply made and then say they offer a life time warranty- that is an absolute lie, my suitcase snap sleeve came off in transit and according to the July Happiness Team that does not fall under warranty. Unfortunately the bags are not well made if this occurs. I would not recommend this product. Very badly made and terrible customer service, where they discount you and do not follow through on their promises.

I purchased the Juliette Soft Large Tote Bag and while it is stylish, it has very little structural integrity. The bag has no support and collapses when set down. I understand it's made from PU, but I expected better construction given the high price point.

I purchased 4 of the 80 litre check in suit cases thinking Id made he correct decison. Im a frequent traveller so demand my cases to perform well. Ive just returned back from a trip to Turkey and Italy and had the nightmare situation of a wheel failure on my July case on its first trip out. I could manage on 3 wheel so just put up with it. A few days later a second wheel failed. I tried to source a replacemnt wheel but they are all very specific in the fitment. I was forced to abandon the case in Milan as id only just began my trip and could not continue the journey with this case so purchased a new case in Mialn. On my return i made contact with July which in its self was not so easy. I made the purchase on line and had my purchase dockets with order number. After finally being able to put my case forward i was duck shoved around till i was then once again forwared on to another department to be told i had no case to support my claim. I can sorta understand why this was dis allowed as i had failed to document the fault at the time in accordence with the July policy. I stood my ground and then requested they assit me and review my case bt was shut down with no where to go. I also put to them that i still have another 3 of thier cases and no longer feel secure in travelling with them due to a possibly wheel failure. Anyone that has been in my situation will know only to well just how it can be when such a failure takes place on the road. After facing the disapointment of my case being rejected i then requested to be supllied 2 complete spare wheel assemblies so i can carry with me on my next trip. This was also denied as i was told only new wheel replacements can be supplied if an existing wheel fails and not as a spare to carry. I even offered to pay the freight cost to have these supplied and again was denied. After being treated like this i could no longer support this company and its policy. Customer focus has gone and replaced with profits. Be wary on this one and please check all the small print

July’s formula is just right. The products speak for themselves; the quality and build is outstanding and you can see (and feel it)!

I love the design of this luggage, and I’ve used my 2 cases on numerous trips and found them robust and easy to handle. I’m impressed by the customer service which is helpful and highly responsive.

This company is terrible. No customer service. I ordered my luggage over a week an ago and they created a UPS tracking number but never delivered the items to UPS. Can’t get any answers, because their customer service is non-existent and all chatbot responses. I will never ever purchase anything from this company again and I recommend no one purchase from them.

Thank you Chris and the Singapore team for your amazing service in getting us a quick suitcase replacement at short notice after the handle on the case was stuck and would not move or go down. Having only a couple of hours in Singapore heading back home to Perth you were able to assist with our issue very promptly. The process was so easy. We are happy with our July purchases, spacious, sturdy and easy to travel with around the world.

July has stylish and sturdy products that handle multiple travel destinations well, if it be plane, train or car. I also had a small issue with handles on my July tote handbag that was very easily resolved and replaced in record time and very helpful Customer Service team, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you July Team.

Disappointed with Forbes Travel review top rating for July.com Carry on Trunk.

First and most importantly - it is nearly impossible to get a voice - call representative. Could not find a link on their site anywhere and had to Google how to: via calling a store and then choosing option 1. PROBLEM: July is an Australian/ Southeast Asia retailer - no stores in Europe or USA. So hours are opposite American times.

You would think you could trust a Forbes Travel Review rating. (Or at least be a good, thorough reviewer).

My Trunk set showed in stock.
I paid for 2-4 day expedited shipping .
Only received 1 on time. Asked for a refund of my expedited shipping charge via “contact us- email” site link. An AI Bot replied telling me status of shipping, which I already know- and that they don’t refund - but would forward to a “human” for future review.

Not starting off very well. If you cannot get a human to talk to - THAT IS A BIG RED FLAG.

My July trunk had a damaged corner, probably from rough baggage handling, I took a photograph to their store in Adelaide. Within a couple of hours I was informed the trunk would be replaced under warranty and 48 hours later I had a brand new piece of luggage. This to me was great customer service.

Our July luggage is strong and reliable and has served us without fault over many overseas trips.
The staff at July are particularly helpful and responsive to any questions I have had.
This is a top quality product.

I purchased a July Checked Expandable set because of the brand’s reputation for durability and quality. Unfortunately, after just one standard flight, the mid-size suitcase returned with extensive marks and scuffs that could not be removed. In all my years of travelling with different luggage brands, I have never seen a brand-new suitcase deteriorate like this after a single trip.

When I raised this with July, I was told that scuffs and scratches are not covered under warranty and was redirected to the airline. While I understand policies, this response felt dismissive and did not address the underlying product quality concern.

I chose July because I believed in the promise of “luggage built to last.” Sadly, my experience has been the opposite. For such a premium brand, I expected far better durability and customer care.
