Terrible experience with Lampmasters. Bought 5 lamps from lampmasters for our renovation, 1 had damage on arrival. I requested a partial refund. After weeks ‘investigating’ this was refused. They also refused to take the lamp as a return despite a 100 day return policy. As a company they are happy to take your money but not deal with problems when they arise. There’s plenty of companies out there providing better customer service. Go to Finnish design shop or others like it where they actually place value on their repeat customers.

Adding an edit based on the reply. Lampmasters do not state that packaging needs to be kept for a return. Damage was reported on installation 3 months after purchase as I was doing a renovation, the lamp was purchased in advance, quite normal procedure for a and damage reported within their 100 day returns period, yet still do not honour this return period. This was one of 5 lamps ordered and was the only one I had an issue with. Just warning other potential customers, they are not a trustworthy company or one that appreciates repeat customers. Go to one of their competitors where you will receive good customer experience.

We didn’t receive any messages to say the or e was to be delivered so it was left on the doorstep. No attempt was made to deliver to a neighbour. The box was open and two expensive lights were missing. The company requires that you complete a claim form and send evidence before arranging a refund. The investigation takes up to 10 days so don’t know
how long it will take.

We purchased a lamp from Lamp Masters at the end of November and on received the item, there were rusted joints and the the lamp had been welded badly so the lamp didn’t twist at a 90* angle. Instead of being able to return the faulty item like every other online retailer, we’ve had to submit a claim so that they can firstly review it. We followed their procedure and submitted the claim. We’re a month on now and we’re still waiting for a response. Meanwhile we’re having to store this faulty lamp and box in our house. Such a frustrating experience. We just want to return the item, get a refund and move on. We wouldn’t choose to purchase from this retailer again. I would avoid using them!

Ordered from Lampmasters in 2023. Order processed quickly, got a 5% discount and ordered received promptly. No issues. Ordering from them again.

Bought a ceiling light from this company, upon delivery was told there was a £46 charge to pay. Having spent £135 on the item I would NOT have purchased this if I knew I had to pay more upon receipt. Whatever the reason, tax/customs etc. THIS SHOULD BE MADE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR before payment is taken.
I am absolutely fuming and feel completely conned at not being told this information up front.
Have contacted the company and will no doubt be told pay it, or pay to return it and no doubt a refund will never be received.
Happy to update this review should they respond to my email saying they will cover this charge, until then....BEWARE! This company does NOT give you all the information before you buy!!!
In addition...guess what...I cannot get through on the phone.

Update: As promised, I am posting an update as I have now spoken with then team. I spoke to Henri from Customer Services who has been fantastic. He handled my complaint with kindness and professionalism, offering me a range of options. He has also requested that the additional export charges wording is added onto the transaction page at the point of purchase and not just referenced on a page that may never be seen. I really hope they do this. He's also refunded me which I never expected or asked for and I am very grateful for this kind gesture. Due to the way they handled my complaint I have increased my rating and amended the review title. A company's customer service goes a really long way in my opinion.
