Overall, Lavu is an ok system, but very elementary. Their reports look pretty much like an elementary student typed them out and quite hard to follow. Before we had the system installed we asked for specific items which we were told they could do, but no. So we got stuck with the system to the point, I had to break the contract to get another system of much more common sense. Kitchen tickets for a good handful of our pizzas are a mess, and Lavu says that how their program works, and nothing they can do with the tickets in how they look. They don't have caller ID, so when a customer calls in, each and every time they ask for a delivery or pickup, we have to ask for their information...not good. I could go on and on, but you get the point. Just please ask for proof they can do something or you are permited to get out of the contract. Two of the biggest issues is when you call into support, they say "Restaurants #1 POS"...what? I'd like to know legally where they can say that...umm, no way. Most other POS companies hadn't heard of them nor had I when I saw them advertise on Instagram....I bought into it. The Ipads are too small, support folks are in India, so many of the times they are hard to understand....sorry. Not knocking because they are from India, but not who I want to speak with when I need technical help in a loud busy restaurant, but they are very very nice when helping. I noticed they have lots of videos out with people doing TikTok. Really? Maybe you should spend time developing better software than trying to be cute. One girl who is on there quite a bit lies saying she owns a busy restaurant because she is in several other videos and apparently works there. Overall, I really dislike the system. It doesn't work in my pizzeria for some critical things needed.
