I used LCS to install solar panels and a battery. They were great at every stage: very communicative throughout, and helpful in choosing configurations; excellent installation; and prompt with all the paperwork. I'm very pleased I went with them, and will use them again in the future.

Solar panels, battery back up and EV charging can be a complex issue. I tried a couple of companies before finding LCS who were recommended by Octopus. LCS were helpful and professional from the start. The first to get back to me, quote and arrange a survey. The price was reasonable and the products well known. The scaffolders, installers and sales support team were all really friendly and helpful. The technical support in setting up the most effective system control was excellent, thank you James. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

Highly recommended, personnel service, went out of their way to replace our inverter!
James was very informative on the pros and cons of solar energy and tariffs.
The engineers that came to fit our inverter were polite and well skilled a pleasure to have in our house,

We are very happy with the installation of our Tesla battery and solar panels, from first contact with Liz to the scaffolding being finally removed.
James visited us to carry out the survey, discuss our needs and answer all our questions. He took plenty of time to explain everything and was very knowledgeable. All our emails were answered promptly and we really liked that there was no hard sell. LCS were very good at keeping us informed about everything and making sure things ran smoothly throughout the whole installation.
James has a great team. The electricians and roofers were very respectful of our property and lovely guys too.

LCH (in particular James) have been really helpful in getting to a final decision on which system to go with.

They were a little more expensive than some that quoted, but I felt it was worth paying the extra for the level of customer service LCS provided.

I am really happy with the installed system (Sigenergy, 3ph, 15kW, 27kWh with gateway).

We have about 3.6kw of solar panels on the roof and have found it great fun (really!) to watch the power flow and to see how much we can save. It will reduce our electric bill massively.

We've paid for next to no peak rate electricity since it's been installed and what we did pay for was because I was learning how much to set it to charge for in the overnight cheap rate. (If we fully charge the battery there is a risk we end up exporting some solar, don't charge it enough and it's a dull day then the battery depletes before the cheap rate returns.We should probably try the AI control but want to have a feel for the system first.)

Really pleased with the overall experience with LCS Energy.

From the initial conversations through to installation, everything felt professional and well managed. The install itself was clean, tidy, and clearly done by people who know what they’re doing. Kieran (the installer) was great on the day – friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to explain things as he went.

James has also been excellent to deal with – very responsive, helpful, and clearly understands both the technical side and how to communicate it in a way that makes sense.

The system itself (battery + EV chargers) is working really well and doing exactly what I’d hoped.

Very happy and would definitely recommend.

LCS were great throughout the process, Octopus energy passed on our details and they contacted me on the same day and were very happy to chat through all the details of our solar installation. The office team are very responsive and accommodating to our requirements.
The on-site team were polite and tidy and did a great job on our installation in such horrible weather.

LCS Energy have been a great company to deal with all the staff have been friendly and helpful ironing out any small issues, would recommend them to anyone.
Everything was fitted neatly and covertly as possible keeping our home looking as nice as possible, working in the building trade myself I look out for these things.

The whole team were excellent from beginning to end in terms of keeping to the agreed timetable, explaining everything that was too happen and going the extra mile in ensuring perfect customer satisfaction. The site was left clean and tidy and the after-care (still on going since we went live about 3 weeks ago) is proving to be good.
We are really grateful for a thoroughly good and professional service. Highly recommended to three of our friends so far.

Great service from a local company from the original survey to fitting and completion. Good communication with all involved. Some hiccups along the way with the equipment that had nothing to do with LCS but all was resolved and all up and running

We had 23 panels and battery installed early April 2025 by LCS Energy. From the website quotation through the survey by Matt and on to the final installation, I could not fault any part of the process. All queries were dealt with promptly and professionally.

If you are considering Solar and Battery you should use these guys. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

I had my Tesla Powerwall 3 + Solar Panels installed on my property in Milton Keynes by LCS Energy Ltd. I must say that I am more than impressed by the professional service I received trough all stages of my installation. LCS have their own employees for roofing and electrical work unlike some other companies where they use different subcontractors. The roofers were very careful with the tiles and the Tesla trained electrician's team took their time to do a very neat and professional job and did not rush things. They stayed till very late on the last day to make sure they run all the tests required to tick all safety boxes. The handover pack I received at the end is very comprehensive, that includes all certificates, manuals, insurances, warranties etc. Two weeks since my install was completed and we are 99% off-grid so far since, and the summer is not here yet. I recommend LCS Energy with my both hands.
