Poor materials; poor design. While this case has protected my phone when I have dropped it, the case itself is horrible. While the twist thing to protect the headphone jack allows me to easily access the jack, it is too small to connect headphones without the special cable that is easily lost. The door to open the cover for the charging port was hard to open, so it was no surprise that it broke within 2 months. I contacted LifeProof and they sent me another case. The same piece broke within a month. This means that it is no longer waterproof. I continued to use the case, because I do drop my phone. Unfortunately, the rubber on the outside of the case quickly disintegrated, including the buttons on the side. No more volume buttons; no more power buttons. I understand why otterbox and lifeproof limited their "lifetime" warranty to one year. Because their products do not last.

Junk product for how expensive it is. Do not recommend life proof cases.

I have a lifeproof case for my s8 edge and it's the most expensive piece of crap I have ever bought.

LifeProof manufactures high quality phone cases! I had a LifeProof case to protect my Samsung Galaxy S5 and accidentally dropped the phone in the Snake River, here near my hometown of Boise, ID. It took me over half an hour to fish it out of the bottom of the river and it was over 5 foot below the surface! When I got it out, I expected my phone to be toast... I opened the case and frantically powered it off, opened the case of the phone itself, removed the battery... But, it was bone-dry! I put the phone back together, powered it on and it was completely functional! That experience made me a LifeProof customer, for... LIFE! I highly recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a high quality case! I am getting one for my new phone - Samsung Galaxy S10, as soon as the "Fre" is available!

I would highly recommend this brand! I had an Fré phone case for my iPhone and after having it for a while, the seal over the home button came a little loose. I called lifeproof to get it replaced, and after a few short questions, they sent me a new one! The woman I spoke to on the phone was very kinda and even apologized for the case not working to it’s full extent. I will keep using lifeproof cases because they are very protective and fully waterproof, and if there is any issue, they will send you a new case for free.

I dropped my phone into the ocean, and someone found it over a day later. I am so glad I had this case! It kept my phone 100% dry and safe!

I have had this case for a month then i dropped my phone from 1 meter onto CARPET and it is completely smashed and unusable. I wish i never bought this a terrible product and a waste of my time. This case is NOT WORTH IT. They won't fix your phone.

I was unable to buy a lifproof case as it wasn't available for my phone yet and went with an otterbox. My phone spiderwebbed from one corner across. Luckily only a surface crack. Got a lifproof case. 2yrs later no new cracks. I don't know about muffling. No complaints.I usually use a bluetooth. Only complaint is pictures are not as crisp

Absolutely nothing has been done to this phone yet and the screen protector on a LifeProof FRE for my Galaxy S9 Plus has a rip or crack. This is by far the cheapest product you people have ever made there's no rubberized grip texture to it so easily slips out of hand. And there is absolutely no reason you people need to be competing with OtterBox by offering different levels of protection when you guys are known for having the airtight or watertight LIFE PROOF CASES. Do not split your product if you want to expand; expand on phone makes do not offer less than superior quality which LifeProof was known for in exchange for a few morons paying quick dollar for a subpar product.

Don’t buy a life proof case. Your voice is muffled. I tried to contact on site and no option to do so. I purchased similar on eBay for $25 and it has opening for mic. Life proof case would cost them $5 they spend $10 on marketing and sell for $100. It’s a scam.

Made good on their warranty!

Bought the LifeProof Slam iPhone X case late last year. After only a few short months of light use, there were cracks appearing on the clear plastic component of the case. I believed these would compromise the integrity of the protective case.

I submitted a warranty claim through the company's website. I found this process very straight forward. After verifying my images they sent me a replacement case.

Very happy with a company that makes good on their promises.

Great customer services. Very nice and friendly people. Had to speak with 2 different individuals(had to call back because of me). Both of them were great people and very very helpful. I’ll do business with them any day of the week.

I purchased a waterproof case of them last month, did the water test and the case dosnt work! Therefore i would like to return it and i have had no reply back to me on the multiple emails i have sent asking them for help regarding this incident!

The customer service team if they have one is an absolute joke! The quality of the products is shocking and the price is extortionate!

My iPhone 8 Plus cracked in myLife proof case contacted the company said there was nothing to do about it because they only cover the case.it false advertisement saying it is drop proof.

2nd case I had. Not worth the money both don’t charge right you have to fiddle with connection for ten minutes to get it to charge. The case rubber wears off on buttons. After case is charged I’m lucky if it will charge the phone to 15 % totally disappointed in these cases. Not even close to the worth of what they are charging. God bless hope LifeProof is happy with the product they are providing

I purchased my LifeProof case almost a year ago and it’s the worst phone case I have ever had, the rubber outside is peeling of and has been since about 4 months after I got it, the little black pieces by the home button on my iPhone have fallen out, the seal for the home button ripped and I had moisture in my case, the plastic round pieces protecting the camera pop out all the time to the point I just stopped trying to put them back in. And not the plastic screen protector is coming off. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I’m switching back to OtterBox because this case is trash I don’t even want the replacement.

Ridiculous! DO not purchase any type of life proof case! My husband purchased one for a new cell phone due to how expensive the phone was and within five weeks - without being dropped - its cracked. When I called - they did nothing but offer a replacement for my phone case not my phone....

WHYwould i want a new case when my phone is now damaged and your product failed.

I was given a life proof case for my iPhone 5 around 5 months ago, for my birthday. Within 2 months, the protruding rubber layer around the screen began to peel off, and eventually, the plastic screen protector peeled off with its seal too. The clip to access the charging port also came off due to faulty, weak hinges within two weeks.

Supposedly "life proof", and with very minimal use that certainly doesn't push any of the cases limits, I'd say it's far from life proof. And a real dissapointment.

If I could give LifeProof 0 stars I would. This is my first time using LifeProof and it’s been less then a year since owning the case and it’s already had to be replaced. It’s time for a second replacement for the same reason! I’m over it! I don’t have time to waste on shopping for a new case when this one should have held up especially for the price I paid. When I sent in my last one it was becusebtge rubber edge was coming off. A very important part of you drop your phone. I glued it until I couldn’t any longer. Now I’m in the same position. My second case can no longer be glued. It’s just becoming a mess. They need to fix this issue or stop selling that case. I’m headed out to get a new case from a different company.

I spoke with Devin(sp?) regarding a warranty claim for the NEXT case. She was remarkably pleasant to talk to and made the process very simple. Based on her excellent customer service, I will definitely continue buying LifeProof products and would recommend everyone else do the same.
