I have been ordering from Linen Chest for many years. I ordered sheets in January and by the way have all my sheets from this store. Unfortunately the sheets I ordered were too small. The packaging says Queen but they barely fit my bed. After trying to contact them MANY TIMES on their only available contact place by virtual chat I have still not heard from them. Very very frustrating and totally unacceptable. I am stuck with these sheets, have not heard back in 1 month and will NEVER order from them again.
They have replied and sent me this message below for which I entered all the information once again only to receive another email (6th one I think) saying that “someone” would contact me soon.
I was contacted 1 weeks ago by email with a free delivery waybill to return the sheets. I was issued a refund today April 1, 2025. Thank
you. I still think the customer service should be a person and I am unfortunately not comfortable to order more sheets in case they do not fit again.

J'ai fait l'erreur de passer par Uber pour commander des choses chez Linen Chest et le livreur a oublié de me remettre la facture originale. La gérante du magasin a été très gentille et m'a expliqué comment contacté le service à la clientèle pour retracer ma facture originale, mais elle ignorait probablement la crasse incompétence de leur bot service à la clientèle. Impossible de parler à un humain, pas de courriel ou de téléphone pour les contacter directement. Service à la clientèle en magasin génial, service à la clientèle en ligne complètement pourri.

Je tente de passer une commande sur votre clavardage et il est impossible de parler à autre chose qu'un robot. Quand on sélectionne passer une commande, ca nous redirige vers des options que je ne veux pas. Je veux simplement passer une commande en parlant à quelqu'un de vrai. There was no one in the store to assist me with my queries so I asked the cashier for assistance. The person that was to help I found out later was the Manager. The 3 items she showed me had higher prices than I could get elsewhere and I told her this. As I was preparing to leave the store, she commented that I could get items cheaper (this in front of other customers). I told her there was no need to be rude but she repeated herself. I asked for her name and she pointed to her shirt saying she was the manager. All this was in front of customers. I said that I have spent thousands in this store and will no longer buy her ad she said "have a nice day" in a very loud voice. I have never been treated or humiliated in such a manner. I am a good shopper and why would I purchase something from Linen Chest when I can purchase the same item elsewhere at a lower price. In my view, she owes me an apology and should be severely reprimanded. I am an 80 yr. old female and was treated disrespectfully by the manager.

I purchased two lamps Jan 22 online arrived Feb 6,2025 six days later Feb 12 they were marked down 60% !!
One time price adjustment policy is 30days from delivery yet LinenChest thwarts every possible attempt to obtain. BOT advises will be contacted but nothing. Call customer care on hold for ever ever ever. Can't believe LinenChest is allowed to operate this way. I will be disputing my payment for a resolution. I see all the auto reply from LinenChest here just like l got from any attempt to email them =automated reply so Linenchest if you truly respect your customers and all your flashy advertising regarding matching price or 30day $ adjustment is valid why oh why are there nothing but upset disgruntled 1☆ reviews here. Something does not add up what a horrible experience to feel scammed by a 🇨🇦 company. No l will not shop here LinenChest shame on you.

Today Feb.18 l received an email reply. I will update my review after my price adjustment when completed as promised by LinenChest.
Other reviews said empty promises so l will truly be happy to give a ☆☆☆☆ once price adjustment is complete.
Not a great 1st time experience trying to connect with customer service yet l

j’ai commandé 3 article au début janvier 2025, on m’a expédier 2 articles dans un meme sac, j’ai trouvé le sac sur mon balcon. il était ouvert et il manquait un article.j’ai communiqué par clavardage ( seul moyen de les rejoindre) le 23 janvier et ils ne m’ont pas encore contacté….vraiment très occupé!!!! mon 3e item est différé de semaine en semaine, c’est rendu au mois de mars !!!!!!

I purchased a dinnerware set in November ..it took forever to arrive. I then found it cheaper on their own website so I applied for the price match guarantee. At first they declined, saying I did get the best price. It was finally approved in January and my credit card has not been refunded the difference. My email responses have been ignored. The customer service is atrocious.

I chat with an online representative to inquore about a price match. On there company website, they claim to do price match and further discount. I provided the link and all my contact information on Wenesday . The online rep told me that someone from the company will get in touch with me. No one has contacted me and today is Sunday.

Linenchest has the worst customer service ever. I bought a quilt with faulty seams and really horrible. I stay 45km from Gatineau. I wrote to customer service, called 5 times during business hours and on the days I was told the manager was working to speak to her. She's always off or sick. I've written 4 emails to the Gatineau team and no one has answered for almost a month. At first I wanted a discount, now I want a refund. I'm going return the quilt tomorrow and never again buy from this store or from this compagnie with a terrible work ethic.

The ordering, delivery and product were fine but it all went bad when I needed to return it. The return process is arduous and now I'm stuck in "chat" and email hell. They won't return my emails and the chat option is a nightmare. I can't get anywhere with them. They have the product and I don't have my money or even a credit note. Please help!

I placed an online order and received the item with a missing piece. As a result, I can't assemble or use it. I immediately contacted customer service via online chat, submitted my request, and quickly responded to their email with the requested photos. Since then—nothing. It's been 24 days. I've followed up via email, tried online chat again, but was never transferred to a representative. They have no phone number, and I can’t get to a store. Extremely disappointing customer service.
Update: Linen Chest has responded to this review and has resolved the issue (it took quite a while, but eh! it is resolved :) )

No customer service, only poor automated chatbots. Shipments take forever - I ordered a duvet on January 5th, January 17th it showex “order created”, January 20th it showed “shipment received at shipping facility” and no updates since (it’s now January 28th). Impossible to call or speak with a human. These type of customer service experiences guarantee that I do not give a company future business.

I ordered two pink carpets on January 9th, 2025. On the Linen Chest website, it states that it takes 1-7 business days for items to ship. I waited 8 days for the first carpet to ship and an extra day for the second. Cool. I know the holidays can be stressful and it was a busy time for all. However, what I cannot excuse is one of the items I received: a grey-ish carpet. I clearly ordered two pinks, but got one that was a different color. After trying to contact customer service and getting no response (unless you count that robot on the chat service), I am beyond irritated with this company. Please do better.
UPDATE: They replied to my inquiry on January 23, and asked me to send them a picture of the incorrect item and a shipping address. They also let me know they would contact me shortly for a refund or replacement, but five days later, I have received no further communication. This company is a joke and their customer service is trash. I even tried calling the customer service number and it directs me to their website who is a: usually crashing, or b: to a stupid bot who can't fix human errors. I will not be ordering from this horrible company again, and instead of waiting for their response, I will take the incident to my bank and dispute their transaction. Truly shameful.

I ordered a duvet cover from this company, and the tracking indicated it was delivered with a “signature received.” However, I never got the package, and when I tried to resolve the issue, all I could reach was a chatbot promising that customer service would follow up. It’s been over two weeks, and I haven’t heard a word.
I’ve essentially lost my money on a product that never arrived. Their complete lack of response has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the trouble—shop elsewhere. This company does not stand behind its deliveries or offer any real support when things go wrong.

Customer service at this company is abysmal. I ordered 4 past dishes on the 2nd January. The parcel came on 9th January and contained only 1 dish.
I have since spent several very frustrating hours trying to get this rectified. The online chat is a joke. They have taken all my details several times and said someone will be in touch but I have heard nothing. I am very angry.

I ordered dishes online which came broken. I did an online chat with them with immediate response 3 times! Each time they asked for pictures which i responded immediately then they went dark, no further response, no resolve. They have no customer service phone nbr where u can chat (not right nowadays) to a living person!
Eventually i called an actual store where they were able to resolve the issue. Will know tomorrow when we go to store to get replacement dishes….

Really poor service for online orders. I have now ordered from linen chest online twice and I honestly wish I never had. First time, I ordered ceramic soap dispensers and they just put them all into a box, without any bubble wrap, paper, foam, nothing and shipped it from Quebec. Obviously when I recieved it, it was all broken, I could hear the pieces rattling around in the box before I even opened it. Customer service was useless, they kept refunding me the wrong amout...like the number is on the invoice, how hard is that?? Second time I opted for store pickup, thinking it would be easier. Nope, I ordered early December and I'm still waiting for it to arrive to the store ( it's January 23rd). Absolutely terrible store, if you can't handle online orders, then just don't do it. Never purchasing from them again.

It is true that customer service is lacking…
However, I placed 3 orders on line recently…Great prices, and free delivery.
I also called their store in Vaughan today and was so fortunate to talk to the supervisor, Wendy. She was so pleasant, professional and helpful and very open to some concerns that I had.
I will continue to support this Canadian store because of Wendy!
