I liked the initial introduction call…
I liked the initial introduction call but the guy who I spoke with was extremely pushy and wanted me to also complete a poa there and then and was (in my opinion) very rude.
I said that I didn’t want to do the poa today and he was inferring that I am stupid as not willing to commit to spending more money than I currently have . Left a very bad taste in my mouth !

All of our will writers have a legal and ethical duty of care to highlight any potential vulnerabilities or risks in a client’s estate planning. That means we are required to explain additional protections, even if a client has come in only wanting the basics.
The intention is never to pressure, but to ensure that clients are making fully informed decisions, rather than discovering later that something important was never mentioned.
Ultimately, all decisions always remain with you — (and you were absolutely within your rights to stick to the basics you wanted.)
I like that they were almost…
I like that they were almost immediately available to respond to my e mails, with pin point advice and guidance . And were quite clear about the costs which were honest and competative.

I wish I’d listened to the 1-star…
I wish I’d listened to the 1-star reviews instead of the sales pitch.
The advertised £47 Will is misleading. From the moment I enquired, I received persistent, pushy calls from multiple numbers. Even after saying I was at work, they continued contacting me daily until I engaged.
I was told I qualified for the £47 Will and that I’d receive expert advice tailored to my situation. I also made it clear I didn’t want to be sold additional products. Despite this, the actual appointment quickly turned into an upsell.
Within minutes, they pushed Power of Attorney (which I had already declined) and then suggested I needed to pay an extra £160 to “properly protect” my interests. The so-called “expert” couldn’t answer basic questions about my circumstances and advised me to seek help elsewhere.
In short:
* Misleading pricing – the £47 offer doesn’t reflect what they actually try to sell
* Pushy and persistent sales tactics
* Lack of genuine expertise or useful advice
* Focus on upselling rather than delivering the advertised service
I requested a refund and confirmation that my data would be deleted. I’ve received neither.
I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

Taking my deceased wife off my will
I had to change, re-new my current will as my wife had recently passed away. The staff at local will writer gave me clear and honest advice about how to complete this task. I had only just arranged an appointment via the website and received a phone call from secure legacy almost straight away. They talked me through all the steps of completing the will. I then laid out to them what details I wanted to be included in the document. They treated me with real empathy and compassion as I had just recently lost my wife and they really paid attention to everything that I had to say. I paid a £20.00 deposit at this stage and would have to pay the remaining £27.00 on completion of the document. I was then emailed a draft copy of the will to look over all the details I had requested to be included in the will. They made it really simple for me to understand and all I had to do was confirm the will was correct via email. They then sent the will package out to me via the postal system. All I had to do then was get two witnesses to sign the rear page and sign it myself. It was as simple as that, It was a breath of fresh air not to be buried in legal phrases and complicated paragraphs. I would recommend using this company for any legal requirements that you need.
