Its as though we have been taken over by aliens !
There is NO human who could possibly believe this is a well though out system.
So WHY are there not more forums and complaint posts and government opposition MPs complaining. I really do get the feeling that any negative online posts are monitored and taken down.

Absolute trash. Microsoft's browser flags it and won't even pull it up, tried to login on a different browser, more issues, now it wants to verify I am who I am, wants an ID and a selfie 🤣 but can't verify even with that. I can't pay my bill online now, I can't access documents I need, and I called to have one paper emailed to me, it will take over a month for them to email it to me. Absolute garbage!!

I think you should avoid Login.gov and go straight to ID.me and go that route and get an account with social security or the IRS all in one place and AVOID LOGIN.GOV. I spent 10 minutes with the PLACE YOU SHOULD AVOID LOGIN.GOV couldn't verify my phone number I've had for 10 years as mine. AVOID THE NOID AND LEAVE LOGIN.GOV IN THE DUSTBIN. I got my government account in less than 5 minutes with ID.me. no hassles no bullcrap can't verify a 10 year old phone number.

This genius idea from the federal government has followed the pattern set by other genius ideas from the federal government, meaning that it fails miserably. From endless errors in getting signed up to failure to recognize government-issued credentials, the whole entity that is login.gov is a total soup sandwich. I absolutely despise the fact that the government is forcing users into this hellscape of utterly unreliable, ineffective, and inefficient processes to avail oneself of needed services and information. Multiple tries to access my account have all failed, leaving my unable to perform tasks from accessing my VA information to being unable to locate certain retirement information. Furthermore, to troubleshoot the login issues these geniuses first want you to log in! Typical government lunacy in a nutshell, right here. I wish I could give negative stars.

0 Star – Horrible, broken system. Nobody helps.
I have been trying to log into my account for months now and nobody will fix this. Even the Social Security office told me they can’t help me directly and just gave me a phone number for Login.gov.
When I call Login.gov, they claim they don't handle this type of issue. The system is asking to send a verification code to a phone number I haven't had in over 3 years. That number doesn't even exist anymore, but there is no way to update it or get past it.
It is completely horrible. I can’t view my Social Security benefits online, yet they keep telling me that all my important information is being sent directly to this online account that I am locked out of!
Heartless people and a completely broken system. I am a 65-year-old widow going through this stress, and no one cares or takes responsibility. Shame on the Social Security Administration and shame on Login.gov.

0 star should be an option. Unable to get verification code via voice to log in. Wait 10 minutes only to get the message that you can resubmit and wait another 10 minutes.

Ive been trying to get a replacement social security card for 2 years. It never allows me to successfully create an account. Its useless. Doge missed this? Go figure. Absolute garbage.

Very unhelpful. Called the number because I was having an issue with authentication and they have an automatic message with how to fix it that was not applicable to my situation with no other facets or way to talk to anybody. I hate that I am forced to utilise them.

Truly awful. An incompetent "fix" for a problem that never existed in the first place. Our tax money at work everyone.

Unbelievably frustrating and supposed to be easier. Time after time it fails either id verification or some part of the process. Trying to get a replacement driving license. Gave up again ascent tell me what part does not match. Rang DVLA sorted in less than 5 minutes. Pathetic, useless, and a waste of time.

It is an absolute joke and a shambles. text codes don't get sent, other verification options not available, and an hour with web chat, just to be told they have to 'escalate' it

Completely worthless website and user interface. Refuses to recognize my established user name and pw, will not reset password with an authentication code, and will only provide authentication code via snail mail. What brainless, incompetent morons are being paid for this Shyte?

Terrible app, go round in circles and still not able to access tax given up will wait for demand in post as unable to access messages online.

The most user unfriendly website ever. Cannot accept driver license or selfie! I have just given up on it.

Could not verify phone numbers and could not get bar code to verify in person at post office. Spoke with one agent was completely rude and could not get any further assistance in verification. Would give 0 stars if able
For government agency part. Like all government agencies it is extremely poor!!!

Whether its SSA.gov or Farmers.gov, the login.gov doesn't seem to work consistently. Last night, I tried to go into my SSA.gov. After jumping all the hoops like passcodes texted to my phone, I was instructed to reenter my form of ID. I am not sure if it was expired or what happened. After jumping more hoops, I finally did all this successfully. Another passcode to get in. When I was finally in, it just told me the system was unavailable. Sorry. Too much B.S. to go thru so its unavailable. It should have indicated this at the beginning. Farmers.gov is the same way. Its inconsistent. I have to try to make my farm loan payment on a good day for the system.
