Absolutely terrible experience. The staff have been rude, unreliable and completely unwilling to take accountability for problems with products I have purchased.

At this point, I have no idea where my products even are. I explained several times that these items needed to arrive on time because my construction works are continuing on site and delays directly affect the project. Despite this, there has been absolutely no sense of urgency, communication or responsibility from Love Skirting.

When you are spending money on materials and relying on them to keep a construction project moving, this level of service is simply unacceptable.

Rude staff, poor communication, unreliable service and zero accountability.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Ordered some skirting and architrave. Asked for it to be delivered following week. Rang the following week, only to be told it would be the week after. Then they said I could upgrade to a premium courier service to have it delivered on time for an extra 20 pounds. What a load of crap. Cancelled the order, will see how long it takes to receive a refund. Paid via PayPal, so will complain to them if I don't receive it in good time.
Update, ordered it from local timber merchants who can deliver in 2 days and much cheaper as well. And looking at the reviews on here, not one that I can see, has had a reply. So they also don't even care about their poor service.

The website offers next day delivery but after waiting many days for delivery or tracking information I called them to find out what is happening with this and also asked why am I receiving many generic emails when all I need is the tracking information and for the driver to call me in arrival. The customer service rep said they don't do next day delivery and that it will be dispatched in another 5 days time. So much for next day delivery or a helpful staff member! They are not upfront with their customers and expect me to wait 7 days after ordering for them to dispatch it!! Absolutely terrible. It's good that I'm not in a rush for this order!!

Absolutely appalling over £500 of architrave door lining. Gave a delivery date. I got the builders in and left a 2 day delay ( in case) AFTER the delivery slot I e-mailed becuse nothing had arrive a day later they emailed to give another slot a week later. I called to see if I could get something confired becuse I had to pay for standdown...nothing.... other than and email ' Thank yo for your understanding...'!

Awful company. I tried to contact about a delivery not turning up. The phone is never answered, their chat gets turned off and limited responses. They do not respond to emails. When I do get through they promise to get a manager to call me and then I get ghosted. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I ordered two golden oak thresholds. One for wooden floor to carpet and one for wooden floor to click flooring . While they were expensive, they fitted perfectly after careful measuring to get the order measurements correct. I was impressed at the amount of options available.

As with others here, I paid for a sample to be delivered three weeks ago. They then agreed to resend a replacement first class on Tuesday and that also hasn’t arrived. I would really like to place a big order but I think I’ll go with another company as I no longer trust these guys.

Worst company I have ever dealt with.

I am writing regarding my recent order LS338627 (placed on 28 May 2026), for the Solid Ash 20mm Door Lining Set.

I have been a loyal customer of Love Skirting for some time and have usually been satisfied with the quality of your products. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with this order.

Upon installing the door lining today, I noticed that the door lining and the door stop appear to be made from two different types of wood. They have noticeably different grain patterns and colour tones, which is inconsistent with the product description of “Solid Ash”.

Obviously they are two different wood but here is what they replied...

Their reply is as follows.
We can assure you that all pieces that have been supplied for the Door Lining set are Solid Ash timber. However, as this is a natural product, we cannot guarantee that every length will match exactly in grain and colour and there will be some variation.

From the sharing, I'd like to share my experience to who is looking for good after sale service...

Ordered some samples nearly a month ago, despite following up 2 weeks ago they still haven't arrived. Tried contacting again and cannot get through. The terrible service received while ordering samples has made me rethink placing an order.

We were doing a reno of hall and required new oak thresholds, Love Skirting came up in online search, they had exactly what we needed. Phoned them up to ask how long the delivery would be and the assistant said he would look out for our order and have them ready to go for delivery in couple of days. And true to to his word they were here in two days, well packaged, and excellent quality for the price. All round great service!

Ordered a handrail from them.. was told it would be delivered on the 1st June. Nothing came, 10 days later after further ‘investigation’ from Love Skirting into where the hell the handrail had actually gone (XDP were supposed to deliver it). And no explanation just said they’ll refund me. Hoping that refund does actually come in a timely manner. Complete waste of 3 -4weeks. Why on earth they would choose to partner with XDP as a the courier service is beyond me - only got to look at their reviews 95% of people have a bad experience. Avoid Loveskirting at all costs.

lovely crafted piece of wood, spot on size..Delivery quick and protected. All around Great service

I'm a little shocked at the reviews. I'm normally one of the 1 starrers, not the 5 starrers. Never-the-less, this is one transaction that went well! Solid bit of kit in the door sill i ordered. Arrived on time. Good price. Cannot complain!

How long do you have to wait for someone to process your order..... Gave up with them and ordered from somewhere else..... Less than 24 hours from order it arrived.

Provided exactly the carpet door bar that I wanted.

I had few orders with them.
Oak thresholds: fantastic, speedy delivery
Beech skirting and architrave: I knew when I placed the order that they will not have so much stock, so they would have to prepare those so was expecting delays and that was built into the schedule. quality and finish were excellent. a couple of the straight lengths had minor knots. But nothing is perfect in life.
overall great experience, will be ordering the rest of the skirting soon.

Sample didn't match product.
Ordered three samples of the sapele in unfinished, lacquered, and oiled.
Loved the tone of the oiled, and ordered multiple lengths of sapele thresholds.

Wood arrived and the colour was not even close to the sample.
I emailed asking if there was an error or if they could provide advice on how I could get the wood to match the sample (darker), even attaching a picture to show the clear difference.

They said they wouldn't do anything as the wood grain varies, implying that was the issue, completely ignoring my request for advice and also trying to blame the colour difference on the wood grain.
I replied acknowledging their decision and again asked for advice and was ignored.

I paid extra to have the wood oiled and it was pointless.
I will have to stain the wood, as even with 5 coats of danish oil, it hasn't darkened like the sample.
I would have ordered a different wood had I known, so the sample service is a waste of time if it doesn't accurately reflect the end product.

Delivery was also delayed, with them cancelling on the day and rebooking for the following week.

Awful awful company. Ordered £500 worth of oak trim and receievd an email saying the scheduling team would email me soon to give me an estimated delivery. 5 days later, still nothing. I rang customer service and was told that she was sorry and I would get an email by 5pm that day. Nothing. I wait until the next day, 3pm, nothing. Try calling again and cant get through. Im still om the phone now, its been ringing for an hour. This is the second time this exact thing has happened, too. I thought maybe the first time was just a one off. Now I realise theyre just a dreadful company. I would definitely avoid.
