Absolutely fantastic experience, wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend. Easy ordering on website, good price, assisted to change my order twice with no hassle, very helpful, excellent customer service, kept updated regarding my order via email. Unfortunately only negative is that they use dpd and aren’t able to track your order meaning I was going to potentially have to wait in all day for 2 day window and states someone has to be present to accept. Fortunately it can morning of first estimated date/day. The dpd guy was nice, helpful and helped me lift hardwood, window sills. Extremely well packaged and protected and all wood straight and true. Thank you for great service provided.

Ordered 3 lengths of skirting and an architrave set on same order but only the architrave set arrived

I contacted love skirting who apologised and said the remainder is missing in transit and would be delivered within 48 hours

When I opened the architraves the two long lengths were badly bent

I have sent photos and will update this review once they have got back to me

Update….

The missing delivery arrived the day after but the issue with the damaged goods has been passed to their quality department and it will take two days for them to assess. It’s obvious from the photos I sent that the goods are damaged so no idea why it takes two days to make a decision

Very poor customer service

Great service, very happy with the quality and finnish of the product, matched my flooring very well, thank you.

I got my items and to the correct specifications all the times I’ve used this supplier but they’re wayyyy too slow. If you’re a chippy who can’t keep lots of different trims in stock (you only need trims for the work you’re doing and that’s liable to change) I’d use somewhere else. 3-11 working days lead time and no clue as to which items take longer than others is pretty much untenable from any trade that doesn’t know exactly what they need as much as 2 weeks in advance.

Walnut Skirting and Architrave ordered and it was excellent quality, a couple slightly bowed in transit or from warehouse but nothing i felt was bad enough to complain about, i use them all the time and there fantastic

I had a great experience with this website. The ordering process was easy, and the customer service was exceptional—five stars for the phone operator who was understanding, polite, and helpful. My order was delivered on time by a professional courier service, first class tracking. The packaging was excellent, and the goods arrived in perfect condition. I'm very happy with the items; the quality and finishes are top-notch. Everything was flawless, and I'm extremely satisfied.

Don’t use this company. Firstly delivery of my items was a nightmare, I asked for delivery to my place of work thinking this would be easier I was wrong. Delivery was a week late and the only thing I stipulated was if delivery is to be on Friday it must be by 12 noon, the delivery turned up at 7pm Friday and my skirting boards were thrown over a 9’ fence and left out all weekend. When it came to installation the skirting boards were different heights I have sent several emails and a week later still no reply. It’s impossible to phone them no one answers and you are charged per minute. Don’t use them worst online experience I have ever had.

This is mainly a security issue. I was alarmed to receive what I assume are samples from this company today, addressed to one Adam Greaves. The address, my address, was entirely correct, but I do not know anyone of that name and no-one bearing that name has ever lived at my address. I have tried calling all numbers associated with Love Skirting they all just cut out. No response to emails. I'm concerned that either someone I don't know is using my address and may have further personal details, or the company has somehow got hold of my address and has used it incorrectly.

I had a very disappointing experience with Love Skirting. I ordered samples from their website, expecting to receive what I selected and paid for. Instead, I got just two samples of what I ordered, along with swatches of unrelated products I didn’t ask for.

When I called to clarify, I was told, ‘That’s all we offer,’ and they referred me to some supposed fine print that pops up during checkout. But when you add items to your basket, it’s reasonable to assume you’ll actually receive what you’ve chosen.

Their phone line is essentially useless—they don’t answer calls. Email responses were equally unhelpful, just repeating the same scripted excuse about their sample policy.

How can anyone confidently purchase skirting without proper samples to see the size and finish? Their poor website clarity, lack of transparency, and dismissive customer service make it clear this isn’t a company that values its customers. After checking their reviews, I realised this wasn’t an isolated experience. Glad I learned this early before spending more money. Avoid if you can

Wow from the minute we ordered to delivery we were kept up to date we couldn’t find door thresholds locally needed them in a hurry,my hubby accidentally ordered wrong depth rang and it was sorted out straightaway,product came of super quality and workman ship all customer service staff so helpful would use again thanks guys

Ordered oak edging and transitions from this company. Four out of the eight 3m strips were badly warped. Sent photo to company as complaint over a week ago, but did not recieve a reply. Will not be using this company again, and cannot recommend them on the basis of this experience.

I’ve received an absolutely terrible service, the communication is unacceptable I’ve chased my order on numerous occasions with no luck. I’ve been given various delivery dates non of which have happened, and I still haven’t received my products.

So i ordered some 4 x wooden thresholds (standard lengths, nothing complex) on Sunday. It’s now Thursday night the week following. I have paid over £20 delivery on an order of £70. This felt pretty high, so I assumed this might be a speedy delivery. 5 days later, nothing. No email. No update. I am still waiting. And when you order, it shows no details on timings. Once you’ve paid, hidden in a very long email is that fact that if you contact them, and you specify a delivery date, it might be quicker, but otherwise it is a delivery timeframe of 3-11 days!!! Seriously. I don’t get it. Paying £20+ for delivery is massive, I really didn’t expect longer than 2-3 days, and am now ready to install the thresholds, but have nothing to install… pretty poor for £20 delivery charge…

I think they are fantastic.

I ordered a height adjusting 3m length and it arrived very well packaged and looking great.

Unfortunately my builder made the gap 3.07m wide.

I contacted them and they have sent me a 100mm sample piece and a small can of touch-up oil to get the colour match right (grain is obviously not continuous).

All for a reasonable price.

I must mention Kate in particular who was exceptionally helpful on the chat - and then called me back after I placed the order to point out I’d not got it quite right. She then sorted it.

Fantastic service, great product. No complaints here.

We ordered an oak threshold to be used to transition between slight differences to the finished floor height of two rooms.
The first length that arrived was dented. It happens, but we were then advised to sort it out ourselves and they would send us sandpaper and oil to do it! Understandably, at that price point we returned it for replacement.
The replacement was covered in black streaks, as if something had dragged or burnt against it. We were told that their 'technical team (!)' assessed it to be a 'natural occurance in the oak grain'. We were not offered any materials to sort it out ourselves on this occasion!
This replacement piece has now also been returned for a full refund, as LoveSkirting was unwilling to replace it for a good one. They probably don't have one judging by the quality of the ones we've seen!
We shall find another supplier, but it's a pity these online suppliers and their 'technical teams' immediately assume they know more than their customers...

I ordered bannisters and brackets. The delivery timing was critical because it had to coincide with me being released from hospital and adapting my home for disabled living. The bannisters were with the courier and in transit for 3 days and the day before the delivery was due to take place the company emailed me to tell me that the brackets were not in stock. This was massively inconvenient and very poor timing. I should not have been able to order the brackets to start with if they were out of stock and as soon as the bannisters were packed in the warehouse they should have notified me then. When it was raised with them the gave the usual apologetic useless platitudes and promised to have some sent to me after my release from hospital the following week - something that would hinder my release. So I had to source other less quality/appealing brackets in a hurry. There was no compensation, nothing given for the trouble and inconvenience. All in all, very shoddy service, which is a shame because the bannisters were of good quality.

I have dealt with this company twice, both times were easy, good communication and prompt delivery, pleased..

Great Service , Excellent Product

Tried to order some bits for a stair handrail. Spent ages choosing items, then went to checkout and on the last screen it tells me my postcode is not Mainland UK. I live near Perth in Scotland!!! This is definitely mainland UK unless something has changed. I'm assuming what's actually happening here is this message is rubbish and it's actually because our postcode classes as Highlands and Islands by their courier (which it is not). What a waste of my time. I'm sure somewhere buried deep in their T&Cs it explains this but, who honestly reads these first. I'm sick of companies not posting this information more clearly or making it easier to do a postcode delivery charge check earlier in the process (rather than springing it on you in the last step of the checkout after you've wasted your precious time choosing what to buy). I'm also sick of companies choosing to use couriers that class our postcode as Highlands and Islands, when 1. it is not (its 30 mins from Perth and 5 mins off the A9 and 2. when there are other couriers available that regularly deliver here no problems and with no additional charges. Sort this out and sort out your website so it gives your customers timely and accurate information.
