EVIDENZIARE LE ESCLUSIONI
Ho appena fatto una ssicurazione viaggio per me e per mia moglie, ed ecco cosa mi dice l'IA che ha letto le polizze: "le condizioni escludono anche alcune malattie, anche se compaiono per la prima volta durante il viaggio. Tra queste ci sono:
malattie cardiovascolari e ipertensione;
diabete;
prostata;
calcoli;
ulcera;
tumori."
Di tutto questo mentre eseguivo l'acquisto nessuno mi ha messo in evidenza questi particolari e quindi ho pagato CHF 276,88 = $ 334,62 e mi rimborseranno soltanto se avro' un mal di pancia?
Ringrazio per la risposta e considerando che fortunatamente non ho patologie e trovandoci in buona salute, ritengo di lasciare la copertura, anche se trovo illogico e strano non coprire ogni evenienza, così come ribadisco che a caratteri evidenti si dovrebbe essere avvisati delle esclusioni prima dell’accettazione. Grazie

You’re right that your policy excludes a specific list of conditions, including heart and cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, prostate conditions, stones such as kidney stones, ulcers and tumours, even if they first appear during your trip.
Exclusions like these are standard in travel insurance, and our policy wording is available on our website before purchase so travellers can read the full terms. That said, we agree these exclusions could be made more visible when you buy.
Your policy still covers much more than a stomach ache. It’s built for the unexpected. It covers emergency medical treatment after an accident and for sudden illnesses outside that list, such as infections. It also includes Medipro medical guidance, so you can get advice from our medical team during your trip.
If you’d like to cancel your policy and get a full refund, please contact our customer service team at cs@lumatravel.com, and they will guide you through the process.
