Please my friends I would avoid beefeater in Milton Keynes at all costs . We have been goijg there for 17 plus years and we recently had really bad service and rude behaviour by a manager called Helen !!!

The food was horrible and they offered me 10£ voucher for a 17£ dish. What a joke 😡

Seriously avoid .

Food is amazing and staff are so polite great quick service would 1000% recommend 😁😁

At breakfast, everything is always hot and is being refilled constantly, the only thing I could say negatively is the continental breakfast area is in the corner, and often becomes crowded

I will also add that I don’t believe tbere was nearly enough staff on New Year’s Day for breakfast

When we arrived at 12 noon at The Queens Drive Liverpool Beefeater on 10/12/25 the tills were down and we waited to be seated, then when we were we waited a good while to get our drinks. Also we had asked twice for a high chair which id requested on my booking, but ended up having to find one ourselves.
I am vegetarian and had specifically asked if the vegetarian burger option was just vegetables or fake meat, the waitress Gillian, asked the chef who said it was vegetables, when it arrived it was fake meat which I hate the taste of and not vegetables. I did not blame the waitress as I politely explained as it was the chef's mistake, but Gillian became very hostile from then on. We had already waited a long time to be served so my brother said he would swap his meal with me. However he is vegan and as it had mayonnaise on he couldn't eat much of it at all. Gillian asked if we wanted something else instead (my brother had to leave to go back to work as we'd waited so long initially), so we asked if he could have the vegetarian Christmas parcel to take out. The waitress attitude was horrible and it took her a while to bring over a very small amount of food wrapped in a bit of cellophane for him. She had obviously been bad mouthing us for the chefs initial mistake to her colleague Sharon, who didn't utter a word to us when my dad asked to order desserts and she had a very unfriendly attitude. Also we were never asked if we wanted another drink the whole time. When Sharon gave us the bill, the meal my brother hadn't eaten had been charged for along with the few bits if veg that they had wrapped up for him to take out, I said I wasn't happy to pay for what hadn't been eaten or for the 'meal' they had wrapped up as it was not a meal and the whole experience had just been stressful and upsetting. Sharon then tutted to a couple that were dining about my great nephew's pram being in her way whilst I spoke to the manager (who Sharon was not happy to get for me) about the whole experience. Sharon could simply have had the manners to say 'excuse me' as we weren't aware she was trying to get past and her manner was very unprofessional! She also said to the manager 'well he ate it!' about my brothers meal, which was not the case. I found her to be very aggressive and I think she was trying to intimidate me.
Luckily the young lady manager was very helpful and understanding. We still paid over £100 for this absolutely dreadful experience!!!! This was meant to be a celebratory Christmas get together and it was very far from it!
Please send all of your staff on some up to date customer service training if you want people to come back, as it was severely lacking on this occasion.
Ironically I had suggested we go here, after having met friends for tea on November 28th at 5pm when we had lovely service from a lady with a lilac bob, who couldn't have been more friendly and professional.

We booked a Christmas 2025 meal for four of us.
First of all, very quick at getting us sat at our table thinks arrived quickly. That's when it started to go downhill. We ordered 3 prawn and avocado cocktails. When they arrived, we were informed they had run out of avocado. The prawns were so tiny and tasteless. The meal arrived, we had ordered 2 Christmas meal 1 roast beef and 1 steak meal. The Christmas meal was all cooked: frozen veg, potatoes, stuffing. The Turkey was not fresh Turkey it was precooked and sliced as you buy in a supermarket. There was no roast beef, so ended up with another Turkey dinner. The turkey dinners were bland. The steak was good, and so was the Christmas pudding. The cooee was so weak we did ask if we could order Lattes and would pay the difference. The female waitress stated it would take too long to change the machine over, that it was set for black coffee only. The mini mince pies were all pastry. Needless to say, there was a lot of food wasteage the coffees were untouched. When we mentioned our meals and drinks as we went alond all we got was "so sorry". I was sorry for the serving staff. The cost of these cheap meals was very expensive [£68 per person]. never again will we cross thier doors.

Went for boxing day to red lion Blackpool. Starters and dessert great. The main festive turkey meal was dreadful. Turkey tasted weird. Sprouts were revolting. Parsnips wilted. Not at all happy. service was pretty average. Told no blue light discount that day.

Had Christmas dinner here at Tamworth . Amelia was our server absolutely lovely girl , dinner was great except the roast potatoes they were very dry and powdery not roasted at all. Also no bacon on the pigs in blankets.

Expensive..frozen food all frozen veg, dry frozen roasties, gravy like water

Review for Beefeater Plymouth -
The waitress we had was lovely and she is the only reason we are not putting one star.

Despite booking the meal over a month in advance we were put in the bar area near the toilets and not in the restaurant area, we waited 50 minutes for appetisers which were nice but shouldn't need to wait 50m for toast and pate, this was on top of waiting 30m for drinks.

When the main meals came out the cooks on them were all wrong and 2 incorrect mains were brought out, this was rectified swiftly luckily.

We were then forgotten for almost an entire hour waiting for desserts, we went to complain (2nd time complaining) and then they asked for our booking as the staff had no idea why we were waiting, at this point we've been sat down for over 2 hours and only gotten through 2 courses on a table of 4 people.

Desserts finally arrived and 1 of the dessert orders were incorrect again.

Food was nice but the cohesion and communication between the staff and kitchen was appalling.

Christmas Dinner was disappointing under cooked potatoes cold food and for £200 and it was for 4 people

We went to the Nuneaton Beefeater as a family of 9 for our Christmas dinner. First time eating out on Christmas day and it was absolutely the best experience! The food was delicious. The staff were fantastic and the entire experience was brilliant! Very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely booking again next year!

Terrible food at Twelve Bells in Brockworth. The restaurant is tired. The cook obviously didn’t care what was served on the plate. The waitress was nice and friendly though.

Lovely meal and we had the best waiter. His name was Bailey so friendly and chatty. Took pictures of us all for me (normally I’m not in them as I’m taking them) so was lovely. My dinner was cooked just how I like it, all the rest of my family loved theirs also. Brilliant restaurant. Booked again for my mums birthday

Went to Basildon one. It was filthy and stank of bleach. Staff were great and would have got 5 stars alone. Places like this should be a thing of the past. Gross food too.

Parked at the carpark went in the parking thing was not working properly and the staff said in needed batteries changing hand the meal went home 2 weeks later I got a letter for a parking fine pay £100.00 or £60.00 28 if payed in 28 days you can oy pay online went to pay £60.00 the only option online was to pay £100.00 they are making extra money of car drivers

Awful was our opinion today,
First visit and won’t return!!
Disgusting tasting coffee,
Service was slow, food was tepid at best.
Desserts were tasteless

The furniture was shocking!! My chair felt unsafe to sit on, all four legs were loose which made it move in a circular motion!! The fabric was stained and just vile!

My son and I gave the whole visit 2/10 and the meal cost us £64!
Total waste of our time and money.

Go somewhere else, it really isn’t worth your hard earned money!!

Fantastic service by Gemma who looked after me. Was very attentive and friendly. The food was served quickly and was well presented.
Will certainly come back!

Over priced, We went to the Beefeater at Heaton Park. they have switched to a "festive menu" . Whilst i opted for the festive burger my wife opted for Turkey Dinner. The burger was basically a double burger with salad and chips with a sausage on it, i can get larger from takeaways near us for the same price, however that is not the complaint, the so called " roast Turkey" served to my wife quite obviously was processed Turkey out of a packet , wafer thin, her " go large" option was an extra slice which brought her up to the grand total of 3 wafer thin processed , round, Turkey slices. Absolutely nowhere near value for money.

Beefeater Ware. Work had arranged a meal for over 20 people well in advance here ahead of a conference the following day. Only 2 waitresses and 2 chefs for the whole restaurant which meant that we waited ages after being sat down to order and nearly 2 hours for meals to come. Food arrived warm-ish and the chicken melt that 2 people on my table ordered was slimy and looked cheap. Neither wanted to risk eating it ahead of the conference so went without. Ordered the cheesecake which didn’t taste of anything despite being biscoff and white chocolate. Very disappointed overall. Felt sorry for the staff made to work when they could’ve put more staff on to accommodate for a large than normal group.

Went today for family meal food was excellent and waitress Veronica was so good to us very welcoming
The only drawback not enough staff so having to wait ages before next course which is not great when you have to pay for parking as well
