Beefeater Glastonbury. Visited only because of a 50% discount offer my wife had received following a very disappointing visit to Beefeater Minehead. At Glastonbury too few staff trying to take orders and serve drinks at the same time, tables not cleared. Our burgers were lukewarm and the coleslaw had no flavour. The cinnamon bun sundae had chunks of bun that were too big and so hard they couldn't be reduced in size with the spoon. Sadly Beefeater have become cheap and tatty but the prices don't reflect this! After these two visits have no desire to return!

We visited Beefeater Redditch, we hadn’t booked but was extremely busy. We want to say a huge thank you to Matthew for his lovely friendly service for getting us a table and going above and beyond when they were busy! He made our visit welcoming and couldn’t do anymore for us. Thank you Matthew! Food was lovely as always. Great visit.

As a regular customer of Beefeater, Table Table and Brewers Fare I collected points for two free meals voucher. On arrival at the Haywain restaurant in Basildon we ordered drinks and showed the voucher to the waitress. She took the voucher to check with her manager and returned shortly with our drinks and told us the voucher would not be accepted, despite being within its valid date. We therefore left after paying for the drinks (which were badly kept and were left) and will never return.

Very good service as always! Highly recommend.

Visited the The Plough (Dover) last night for a birthday meal. Excellent service. Surprisingly it was very busy for a Monday evening however we were told there could be a slight delay before our meal arrived. It was fine and the wait was minimal. The waitress Emma was extremely busy as there wasn’t a lot of staff available to help her but she kept everyone happy and she was pleasant and professional throughout. It was a very nice evening and a very reasonable price with a good selection of meals to choose from.

My family & I went to the Somerford restaurant last evening to celebrate a birthday. We were seated near the entrance & immediately felt cold so we asked to be moved. It wasn’t much better but decided to stay & order our food. The first young waitress was training so needed to be guided. Our drinks included a Malbec, the worst I’ve ever tasted but they replaced it with a better one. Two of us had fillet steaks that were not cooked properly whilst the others said their food was o.k. Another young waitress took over & apologised for our experience while making deductions to the final bill. This is the second time this year we’ve had a bad experience with a Whitbread owned establishment, the other being a Premier Inn at Southampton Airport. We certainly won’t be using Beefeater again anytime soon.

We visited Beefeater, Bentley Green, Walsall. This was our usual go to restaurant it was always of a good standard you knew what you were going to get. It was not overly busy at 1.00pm. We paid £41 for two burgers and two Latte's. The burgers arrived luke warm, with not very fresh looking lettuce and tomato (1 small slice) the cheese was a square of cheap processed. The burger was pretty tasteless, with a small spoon of coleslaw and the chips were the frozen ones which have just been just warmed up and were hard. I was quite shocked how the food standard has dropped off. Also the car park is a disgrace with deep pot holes which were difficult to avoid. A positive note was our waitness Georgia who was very polite and helpful. Think its time time to find an alternative eatery. This is a real shame

The Whitley Bay branch did an excellent job at the restaurant especially our table server Rob, who performed efficiently through the evening.

A friend and I went to The Manor Farm, Rainham, Kent. We were looked after by Ricky, who made us very welcome.
Our food was nicely presented, and hot, very enjoyable, we weren’t rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Really disappointed in my most recent visit to the Beefeater at Countess Weir Exeter and their customer service since that visit.
Seems that parking has changed and whilst their phone message states that free parking is available on site I HAVE GOT A PARKING CHARGE/TICKET FOR THE DATE I LAST ATE AT THEIR RESTAURANT ON 28-OCT-25.
No one at the restaurant mentioned to me about anything I may need to do on parking and I am extremely frustrated by this.
I have tried calling the Beefeater, the robot on the other end cannot help and just refers me to their website and when they allegedly transfer me to speak to some one the phone rings out and no one answers.
I have also emailed and again, no response, just a standard reply saying they take over a week to respond.
Parking charges are time driven for the lowest cost and Beefeaters failure to deal with this quickly is incredibly unhelpful.
This situation is making me think twice about every going there again!

I was on a course for work and stayed 5 nights in the premier Inn next door to the Millfield beefeater , breakfast and evening meal were provided in the beefeater. The food was really good, breakfast was buffet style and really good, nice coffee 😁. Staff more than happy to help out if you want poached eggs or anything they can do really. Evening meal BBQ Crispy beef was amazing as was the Sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce, plenty of sauce choices also.
Just wanted to thank Ryan who ran the bar in the evening, helped me out swapping chips for salad on my main course as I’m on a Keto diet and got my food boxed up to take back to the room also which was amazing. Ryan ran the bar superb, no queues and he just knew how to run the bar and meal orders. He was really friendly and wanted to help all customers. All the staff were helpful and friendly, would visit again anytime.

We head off to the Morris Dancers in Scarisbrick practically every Sunday and also during the week.
The food is always good and the staff are lovely especially our usual waitress Pam.
Everyone is friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks guys!

Staff need a reality check and to actually do their job

Now only did I get my food dropped on me and waited 40 mins for a damp cloth to clean myself up then 1 HOUR for the BILL your staff are so rude and are happy working there simple sack. Them all and change your miserable supervisor or manger it’s not on it’s disgraceful so lazy so slow and so rude

So this morning I met a previous partner for breakfast at Beefeater restaurant Newport Shropshire situated on the A41. They were busy, staff looked stressed, both my friend and I booked the buffet breakfast and told it included unlimited hot drinks from ‘the machine’ and all you can eat from the buffet. We joked about how much coffee one would want. My friend, who had arrived earlier than me was served a coffee from the bar area. I however was told to help myself from the machine. At this point I was starting to be a bit confused, I was given no receipt or voucher in fact nothing to show what I’d paid for. I searched out the machine (which wasn’t self evident) but found it inactive. Whilst I looked on quizzical at the machine I was told ‘oh I’ve just switched that off’ ah I replied “so I can’t get a coffee here?” Well you can have an instant. Right I know things run out, I get it I really do, I’ve worked in retail for years myself. I duly help myself to some disgusting instant coffee. Well maybe it would be better with some milk? Yep you guessed it….. no milk to be found. Well thinks I maybe I’ll go for the grilled breakfast. Well the only plates available had dried egg on them. I asked at the counter could they get some more plates and was met with a shoulder shrug and a grunt. Beside the food was fast running out and my friend had only managed a select choice from the buffet grill. Not good enough beefeater. I approach the one staff member on the floor and suggest that I had not been dealt with fairly. So far a cup of really substandard coffee and no clean plates on which to perhaps get a limited choice of food on. Well now this takes a turn maybe as the staff member spat an apology that she was sorry and when I suggested that sorry wasn’t any good she ought to perhaps get me coffee from the bar and some clean plates, I was told quite abruptly “don’t like it! Ask for a refund!” Needless to say I did! However when I told another staff member (the manager?) that the worse bit was that his staff were rude the waitress stormed back to the bar and with pointed finger yelled that she had not been rude to me. A younger staff member was tasked with my refund but sadly I have to say displayed an attitude also. Whilst receiving my refund another lady (unknown to me) approached the bur to also request a refund and supported my observation the the staff in this restaurant where just so rude. Now to all those that witnessed this incident this morning I’d like to say I hope you saw that this wasn’t “the nasty trans person” having a go. It was simply an undervalued customer who wanted what they’d payed for and maybe just a little respect?! To the lady that came and supported me thank you so so much it meant a great deal to me. Xxxx

Beefeater Truro would never return.
Went to order burger was told it’s of lunch time menu so couldn’t order but it was on evening menu. But when it arrived chicken burger was overcooked and chips tasted the oil needed changing. In our party halloumi. Mushroom burger had no mushroom. Side salad was brown. Starter halloumi fries had hardly in them. Garlic mushrooms was over cooked in dirty oil. Waiter never asked if meal was ok until the end of the meal. What a waste of a meal and evening

Was charged twice for a meal. The transactions both left my account which was shown on my bank statement, however they couldn’t find it their end so they refused a refund. Stealing from a customer.

Tamworth Central:
Niki was first class, very attentive and knows how to make a customer happy. Food was also good!

Beefeater, Whitley Bay.
We visited Whitley Bay twice in October and ate both times at the Beefeater.
The staff are welcoming and friendly and we were served both times by Tanya, whose energy and enthusiasm are amazing. Our party of six all found something they liked. My son and I had Sirloin steak and it was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious - compliments to the chef. The others equally enjoyed their meals.
We have visited since it first opened and the decor and furniture are ready for an update.
The outside tables suffer from a plague of starlings, and need a good pressure-wash.

We received great service and food, but sadly the staff were rushed off their feet. This is a real pity as staff will only put up with this for so long and will leave therefore losing your good loyal people. I would have given this five stars but some of the interior needs updating, the bench seat we sat on was completely split.
