I had a bad first impression at first:
Two iMacs picked up on Oct 25 were misquoted; the value dropped from £900 to £330 due to mix-ups. Despite promises to fix it, I’ve had no update for a week. Poor first impression, 2 stars until resolved.

A fair price given for the convenience of selling my old MacBooks with no hassle. Collection was easy.

One of my MacBooks was downgraded from the original quote but I felt that was fair given the details they described from their inspection report. I was also impressed that delivering the device back to me would have been free of charge if I didn’t accept the new quote.

The second device I sent was paid as quoted, which I was very pleased with.

I really loved the convenience and ease of getting an online quote, the speed and flexibility of collection and the fact they arrived with the right size box which gave me confidence my old iMac would be delivered in great condition.
My only reason for a 4 star is because there was no communication between pick up and a confirmation of the money being sent which made me suddenly panic I’d been scammed 😂 I rang them and it was fine but I’d recommend an automated email upon collection / receipt to say ‘we’ve received your Mac and we’re checking it out, expect to hear from us soon’ just to make this part more reassuring.

1) There communication is first class.
2) the pick up and return to Macback is totally free.. They use a courior service to pick up my Mac it went into a sturdy tie tab secured box.
3) My Mac was inspected the very next day after receiving.
4) The offer price was paid as my Mac matched the description I told them.
5) The money was Transferred the very next day into my bank account..
6) Here is the best part, I received £240.00 more than Apple offered me if I had traded it with them.

I was initially quoted a high price, which was later reduced significantly. I requested the iMac to be returned, but it arrived poorly packaged and covered in dust and dirt. The packaging showed evidence of impact, with the polystyrene visibly compacted. Common sense would have been to reattach the screen protector before returning it, but this was not done, leaving the screen in direct contact with the polystyrene. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Very happy customer. I got the full quote money back and it took a week from initial quote to money in the bank. They provided the box and packaging and the guy waited while we packed it up. Thoroughly recommend them.

I traded in two Apple Macs via Macback, a 2017 iMac and an old MacBook Pro. I initially went with Macbak because the trade-in quote was very competitive, but I’m pleased to say that the whole process was fast, easy, and contact with the team was efficient and friendly.

Super easy process from start to finish. Received an offer which was much better than Apple offered. Arranged a day for collection and the courier arrived and waited while I boxed up the iMac. A few days later I got an email saying they’d checked the computer over and it was in better condition than I’d indicated so they increased the quote for the trade in. Money was in my account the next day!

Fair and efficient. Before asking for a quote, I contacted Macback to clarify a couple of things about my potential trade in. I received a helpful and quick reply to my email. I subsequently obtained an online quote for my iMac, which I considered to be in genuine “out of the box” pristine condition and therefore graded A. Pickup via DPD was efficient, on receipt the iMac was quickly assessed and the quote confirmed. I accepted by return and the funds were in my account the next day. Macback communication has been good throughout. I couldn’t be more pleased and would definitely use again if the opportunity arises.

I found your posting online and obtained a quote for my 2017 IMac of £153. Great result to find a good valuation for my trusty old machine working well but unable to interact with my other Apple tech. Seamless collection and payment received after my details were confirmed.

Excellent - when my iMac was deemed obsolete by Apple I knew it needed to be replaced eventually, however this was accelerated when it gave up the ghost and refused to power up some 3 months later (!). Although Apple said they would recycle it for free it meant taking it to an Apple Store and with its weight it was impractical for me to do that. That’s when I discovered Macback - they would collect my iMac (result!), wipe the hard drive and even give me a small amount for the parts.

Given the fact it wouldn’t power up I was very limited in my options to dispose of the iMac. I was also concerned about selling it privately due to not being able to wipe the hard drive so I put my faith in MacBack and I’m very glad I did.

The whole process was smooth, easy and painless. I would definitely recommend using MacBack and would do so again if needed.
