Used M A Griggs a couple of times online. They had the best sale prices for Barbour wax jackets plus a free express one-day delivery. Excellent! Highly recommended.

Hi! My experience with MA Grigg has been really positive! I ordered a Barbour waterproof jacket in Elderberry colour, size 10, however when the jacket arrived - it was quite smallish. It's good that MA Grigg have a really efficient exchange system. I returned my jacket with the label attached and asked for it to be exchanged for size 12. I received my new jacket just one week later and it is perfect! I'm really enjoying wearing it! And MA Griggs personnel have been really helpful and attentive to my request. I would recommend Barbour Women's Hebden Waterproof Jacket to all ladies - it's an excellent price and quality and it costs much less that on Barbour or House of Bruar website! Thank you MA Grigg!

I generally review companies on Google & Trustpilot prior to placing an order, and in this instance it all seemed pretty good, so I placed an online order for some Berghaus Walking Boots at approximately 3.00pm Thursday, and by 1.30pm Friday (Less than 24 hrs later) they had arrived …… the speed at which these arrived was nothing less than incredible, I’m convinced I saw smoke coming from the box because it had travelled just short of 400 miles at breakneck speed ! …… Now that it what I call speedy service, and I certainly won’t be hesitating to order again.

Terrible service on this occasion. I received the wrong size for a jacket and requested an exchange. The jacket was returned and it appeared one was sent out with dpd. I received no communication about this and missed the delivery. I've tried to rearrange the delivery with DPD who stated they'd returned it to Griggs. I've then contacted Griggs who have responded today to state the jacket is not in stock. For the pleasure of waiting a month for the correct item, I've been left shortchanged with the adjustment fee on the refund. Poor service from both Griggs and DPD.

Update - I was contacted by Kim who was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue, but unfortunately stock had run out. I received a full refund. So thanks for trying to resolve.

Normally I have no problem ordering from MA Grigg however on this occasion I’ve been sent the completely wrong item. Awaiting a response as to how this will be rectified. Could bring it in store this Sunday to get the correct item as will be nearby.

Update:

Having spoken to Abbey/Abi (apologies if I’ve spelt incorrectly), very kindly refunded £10 off the order and I can pick up the correct item on Sunday.

I ordered a pair of Hunter wellington boots as a gift. They were reasonably priced and arrived very quickly. Unfortunately I’d ordered the wrong size so they had to be sent back. A quick call to the lady ( Amanda?) in the returns dept. meant that the correct size was returned to me within 4 days.
A company can be measured by it’s customer service and as far as I’m concerned M A Griggs scores very highly.

I was very nervous to order from this vendor as the reviews here are very discouraging. The most important thing -the order arrived very quickly and the right, genuine item😊
I must say that I would not order if I was not sure that the size/item was the one I wanted. Unfortunately, the return policy is not customer friendly. To be honest is the worst I have ever seen.
4 stars for the delivery and product. One star lost for the return policy.
Update: I do not like being patronized and insinuating that I do not understand the return policy is just doing that so one more star lost for customer service.

Excellent price on a North Face jacket. But what really impressed me was the customer service when DPD messed up the delivery. I contacted Magrigg customer services by email and they were straight on to it, phoned me back and to let me know they would immediately resend the jacket, which arrived within a couple of days courtesy of Royal Mail.

Ordered some beach shoes, and was happy with the delivery time and product provided.

5* excellent service and courier quick. Ordered 14.7.22 and delivered 15.7.22. fabulous service, have ordered a few times from Ma Griggs Equestrian, best possible price and good shipping. Goes without saying they are my first port of call for anything i am doing a price and item check. Well done.

Order went through easily and delivery was excellent so giving 2 starts but I ordered a Hartman umbrella and it’s just an ordinary grey umbrella - no Hartman branding that you would expect on the handle or in the packaging and so I could have bought the same cheaper elsewhere - too much hassle to return
but won’t return and buy again

I ordered a pair of Barbour boots on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm and they arrived at 11am Monday morning! From Cornwall to Yorkshire! Unbelievably efficient!
The shoes are excellent quality - so there’s no problem there, the fit is as expected, and they were better value than anywhere else and included free express delivery - many others charged between £3.49-£5! Thanks to all involved! Highly recommended 👍

Ordering is fine & delivery prompt although twice told they will arrive on a certain date and they turn up a day earlier.
Returns process is a fiasco with complex and unnecessary online process to log a return. Then you pay for the return at several pounds & then Griggs charge you £3.50 for pleasure of receiving return!
Has put me off ever using this company again and our household do buy a lot of shoes so it will be their loss.

Ordered some Hunter wellies, said they were dispatched then it said they were cancelled. Didn't arrive on the day they were originally meant to, spend ages trying to get through on the phone to no avail. Ended up emailing and they said they cancelled the order as the boots were the last pair and were damaged. They didn't bother contacting me or refunding until I had to be inconvenienced by contacting them. Really poor service. After telling them how disappointed I was with the service they offered 10% off something else but I would not order from a company that gave such bad service again.

Delivery was ok but Barbour dog collar wasn’t quality expected from the brand and was too big anyway. However their returns policy deducts £3.50 from your order which is just plain wrong. If Griggs want to play the online market they should play fair. I will not use them again!

Superb service. I ordered a pair of back door shoes (crocs). They were much cheaper than anywhere else online and arrived the following day.
