The cover material was good quality and arrived sooner than expected. However the fit was very tight, I had to struggle to get the cushion covers on; they material was very taut, clearly strained to fit. The cover was also 5-6 cm above the floor, not floor length, on all 4 sides. I replaced it less than 3 months because it just didn't look nice.

Amazing quality. Fit not great.
Packaged amazingly. Had a storm and nothing got wet. Colour and fabric and stitching perfect. However. Cover is slight too big and the style of the couch is round cornered and cozy. The cover has very square corners entirely changing the look.

Covers great, but work is required for the new look.
My Karstad sofa has reached the end of the eye-pleasing life and rather than tossing it, I decided to get new covers. Since Ikea had long discontinued it (so much for so many years of warranty, thanks guys) like most of you I had to find the covers elsewhere.
I ordered a few pillow covers in colours I thought I would like for the sofa and this way I would know exactly what it would be like once you start using it. I picked the Petite Titanium Gray in the end (finally the orange cat hair blends in :)).
Here is what I did not know... the covers fit slightly bigger than the original one (foam and filling has been compacted over the years of use hence it does not give you that new sofa look). When I just changed them out, I was rather disappointed. I did some research (big thank you for Mark's upholstery videos on YouTube) and got to work. First, you steam the foam sides on the cushions and, it will bring it back a bit, closer to the original size, then you add batting to fill in the space. For pillows, you have to open the inside part, pull the stuffing out, fluff it out (rip it to shreds) and put it back in. Start from the middle section, shred, fill and move on to the next one. I added a bit more just cause I like them firm). Got 4 cheap pillows from Ikea for that. Once this process was done, my sofa looks brand new, no sagging. The quality of the covers is great, love, love, love the colour. I think you will be very happy with the covers if you are willing to put in the work.

Replacement cover for retired IKEA sofa
Since IKEA had retired my couch style, I was looking for different custom cover options to replace the tires cover we had. After discovering Masters of Covers sent free fabric samples, I knew it was going yo be the one. The samples were essential since colors can appear very different on a screen and in real life and the fabrics texture was important for me and my family (including our cat - who had an opinion too!).
Once the cover arrived, I knew it wasn’t going yo be a simple swap. I had to redo some of the batting on the arms and discovered along with a few other repairs. It took several hours, not because the cover was hard to replace, but because of the repairs needed and allowing the glue to dry.
The cover was a little bigger than the original, but I was able to make it work. My husband, kids, and cat were impressed! And it feels like we have a brand new couch. I’m so grateful we didn’t have to add the frame and foam into landfill. Thank you!

Service was speedy and they fit well
Service was speedy and they fit well, but I was disappointed with the fabric. It didn't really look like the picture and looked like patio furniture fabric. I ended up not using them and just stuck with my old covers.
