I was very disappointed with my experience with Mattress.ie. From the start there were problems, after order was placed and paid for and we were arranging a day that suited for delivery it came to light that the bed I ordered was not in stock. When it finally came in I was told that delivery would take place between 4-5pm. I was home from 3.30 and delivery took place at 9pm. I tried several times to contact Mattress.ie and nobody was answering the phone, even though it stated the phone line is open till 10pm. From 3.30pm I was not able to leave the house in case the delivery arrived. I couldn't even pop to the shops to pick up the makings of a dinner. I was very annoyed. It was around 8pm when the phonecall came to say he was on his way and got delayed. A 5 hour delay! Not sure why the delivery man didn't ring me and inform me that there would be a 5 hour delay. I have posted a comment on your facebook page on 26th March and nobody bothered to even respond to that.

Hi, Thank you for supply us with a brilliant mattress, the mattress was ordered and delivered on short notice and it arrived on time, and is exactly what we wanted. Good: bought at discount price, saved lots to compare other retailers.

Bad:
1. customer service is kind but seem lack of experience (they always checked the info in the stock and got me the wrong dimension).
2. the incorrect information on website and need to update, such as the info on dimension, pictures and description etc, this definitely has confused people when they are buying through the website.

27/04/15 As an update to the review below - prior to leaving the review below i left a similar review on Mattress.ie's private review facility - i got no response . . . it was only when my review became publicly visible that i got the response you see above - since this response promising to correct my order and provide a refund i have heard absolutely nothing from Mattress.ie . . . still have the incorrect product and no sign of my refund as promised - - -

Awful experience from start to finish, took over a month of to-ing and fro-ing before i got the info i needed to place my order. Ordered my goods over the phone expecting delivery in 5 days (as advised on the website), on the phone told 5-10 days, almost a month later, "it'll be with you tomorrow, it'll be with you tomorrow, it;ll be with you tomorrow 10-12, it'll be with you Monday, if you don;t get your entire order on Monday i'll give you the whole lot free of charge". Delivery did indeed happen on the Monday but one of the 4 items was completely wrong. They agree to refund the cost of that 1 item only and replace it the following week. The following week the item was replaced again the wrong item and manufactured to an appalling standard of workmanship. Sent the pics back to them and they confirmed by email yes its the wrong size..... a week later after confirming that they had checked the correct size and that the standard of workmanship was acceptable i received another headboard again wrong size (same size as the one they confirmed by e-mail was incorrect) . . . now they are not responding to my e-mails and i still haven;t received any refund . . . . these guys should not be allowed to trade . . . . . . just the worst experience i've ever had with anyone i've ever bought anything from

Couldn't be happier with the service from Mattress.ie . Aoife was super helpful and once we'd sorted what I was gonna get they had it out to me the same day. Best mattress I've ever slept on and I look forward to sleeping on it for a long time to come. 5/5

This company came to the rescue after being let down by Argos. I needed a mattress urgently and the very helpful lady at Mattress.ie sourced me a small double at a competitive price and within 3 hours it was delivered to my door. Im extremely impressed with this company and very pleased with the mattress quality. Highly recommended!

I bought a mattress that was totally unsuited to my back. Good quality, just not for me. Since I had given it a few weeks to see if it would settle down, I missed the returns deadline. I had given the thing up as a bad buy but when I got through to Mattress.ie about the issue, they were very helpful and flexible. They offered several solutions to the problem and didn't simply write it off as 'too late, too bad'. I really got the impression that they put effort into their customer services and we were able to come to a decent, fair agreement. To avoid making the mistake I made, note two things: firstly, although they were very flexible, the returns policy is only 14 days so get in touch asap if you think there is a problem. Secondly, you can try before you buy in the showroom in Palmerstown, Dublin. Can definitely recommend the company overall and will be back in the future.

I ordered a bed for my daughter and it arrived sooner than the expected 10 working days. Was so pleased with the efficiency of the staff when I called to check the estimated delivery date. I spoke to Aoife who had excellent customer service skills. My daughter loves the bed and is sleeping really well. I will most definitely buy again and would recommend to a friend.

I found you on the internet last Sunday morning, I spoke to you that afternoon. You contacted me Monday with a price for my custom made bed. I paid you on Tuesday and you delivered my beds on Thursday. I think that's amazing. Your staff (Aoife) and your delivery man were a dream to deal with. I will be ordering from your again and I have already recommended you to my friends. I think you're brilliant. Still can't believe I got my custom made bed ordered & Delivered in 3 days. Very reasonably priced good quality beds.

I was totally swept away by friendliness and professionality of the staff. The website could be a bit better, the images are not very detailed, but still good enough to choose. And we did indeed chose well.
After I submitted my order they got back to me regarding delivery and actually offered delivery a week earlier then the website initially suggested. And indeed delivered it. When the delivery guys arrived and I told them it needs to go upstairs they didn't look very happy and once they saw the twisting staircase it didn't make them any happier but they just took the parts and brought them upstairs without problems. Professionals, indeed.
I didn't ask for assembly because I don't have problem assembling furniture but once I unpacked the parts I noticed there was no manual. It turned out to be no problem whatsoever because the bed simply can't be assembled in a wrong way, it was all immediately obvious. Again, I was afraid that it won't be very sturdy given how easy it was to assemble but I was proved wrong as well. The bed holds together via massive metal screws and once assembled it seems to be made from one piece.
What to say more? Simply awesome!

I'm loving my new mattress and I'm happy that I've invested in restful sleep. The website was easy to order from and they kept in good contact and we're flexible about a deliver time that suited me. The only complaint I would have is that the deliver guy advised that they only deliver to the door and I live in a first floor apartment and was on my own. Thankfully he obliged and helped me get the mattress up the stairs. I would advise other customers to confirm deliver specifics on the phone before delivery.

I cannot fault the service provided. I needed a custom size mattress & customer service staff were most helpful & efficient, a pleasure to deal with. Mattress received was exactly as ordered, delivery men helpful & on time. I will use again & recommend to others

I received the Visco 3000 mattress yesterday and had a great nights sleep. I was surprised when it arrived rolled up as I thought it wouldn't be thick enough but it is. The only thing is there are gaps on either side of the bed so it doesn't fit perfectly but it's ok.

Good company that had excellent customer service and delivered product as commited on time. I was happy with quality of the product received. Only negative was that the product came from the UK and was not an Irish made product even though mattress.ie is an Irish company

Matress ie , as agreed deliverd the 2 matresses as agreed, infact a day early, no bad thing !, they telephoned first to let us know, and then arranged the delivery to the house, as they were delayed they phoned again to let us know.

We ordered on line, very informative details available on line too and delivery swift. Bit of a shock when we saw king size memory foam mattress rolled up like a carpet! Delivery man saw my face but re assured me that mattress, when laid out ,would rise, which it did. A great sleep had that night. We have recommended you to friends at work. Thank you.

I was impressed with the delivery service: it could be scheduled on a Saturday when we are not at work, and delivery arrived on time. The product is also excellent so far.

I found this mattress exactly as advertised. It has a soft comfortable feel and a cushioney relaxing feel when lying down. I have bad circulation and an artificial hip and all my aches and pains just slipped away when i lie on it. I find it hard to get comfortable normally but this has changed my opinion that a good mattress can change your way of sleeping. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone. My husband cant praise it enough. It was delivered promptly and I found the website very easy to navigate. which made finding the right mattress a doddle.
