I had been thinking about switching my Medicare Advantage plan for some time, but didn’t know exactly how to go about a switch. I found the Medicare School site with a friend’s recommendation. Marvin Musick has done a great job with his medicareschool.com on youtube. I watched several of his video and felt very informed about turning 65 and dealing with medicare. Thinking about all the Medicare options is confusing. My wife and I worked with Robert LaFrenz to select my plan. He made the experience fantastic. I recently turned 65 and was living in Canada, which has social health care. I unexpectedly received a job offer back in the States, which required moving to Georgia. Prior to this move, I had signed up for Medicare A, but not B because my health coverage was covered at the time and it made no sense to me to pay premiums on a service I did not need. MedicareSchool.com is fantastic! As independent brokers, they're not tied to any specific benefits provider and they search for the best solution for you as an individual. They also help you in the manner that you would like to be helped. I wanted to learn as much as I could on my own - their videos on YouTube, FaceBook, and their Mastering Medicare workshop were better than any of the other sources that I used.
When the time comes for you to enroll, they will assign you one of their licensed agents and walk you through everything you need to do. They will also do it for you as you follow along. There's no pressure, they listen, and the discussions are very consultative.
They also serve you for the rest of your life.
There is no charge - they make their money from the insurance companies but do not let that drive their consultation with you.
I also researched them before I called. They have a BetterBusinessBureau score of A+. A Google Reviews score of 4.9 stars (out of 5) and also a 4.9 score (out of 5) on Trustpilot.com.
I'm about to meet my personal Customer Care person. She proactively contacted me and she will be the person I contact if I have any questions going forward.
