It was a good experience. You get to pick your sitter, meet them beforehand, and they send you updates while you're away. It completely set my mind at ease.

We have been using Meowtel since 2020 when we had to travel out of state due to a sudden death in the family. We have experienced the best care for our cats. We have been having Tina cat sit, for the last 3 years and we highly recommend her. We love getting the updates and photos of our fur-babies.

I had such a great experience with Meowtel! The sitter I found provided excellent care - she was kind, great with my cat, and followed my instructions perfectly. She also sent detailed updates (with adorable photos). I will definitely use her (and Meowtel!) again!

Mercedes my pet sitter made me feel so comfortable leaving my kitties (my boys).
She was confident and very calm with my ferrel boy. She came over before I left and met both boys. Which involved her laying on the floor and sticking her arm under a chest giving Maco a treat and letting him smell her. First day she sent me a picture of Maco out from under his chest and eating treats. My other boy just loved her and couldn't wait to play with the laser. With a few days my ferrel boy was sitting on the couch with her eating treats next to her. I know that I can leave town now and my boys will be loved and taken care of. The pictures and videos every day were the best

I cancelled within an hour of making a reservation. It was impossible to get a refund back to my original payment method. Instead, Meowtel put it into my account balance. I kept trying to click on different links. There was no refund account section with an option to put the amount back onto my credit card.

The one and only time I will ever book with this company.

It sucks to have to spend this much time for something that should take 2-3 minutes. Now I have to call them back. Impossible to figure out. The site is confusing, not at all user-friendly.

Yuck.

Diane with Meowtel, made it possible for us to travel without being worried about our kitties. We have one who deals with stress induced cystitis and she requires medicine daily. Diane was amazing! We receive pictures each visit and great messages about the kitties and any updates. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend the service.

We LOVED Jen! She took such incredible care of our senior kitty Duke. She gave him two medicines a day and spent a lot of quality time with him as well. She sent us pictures every day and was very kind and thoughtful. She even helped us by taking our trash in and out. We rate her 10000000/10 and will for sure hire her again.

My cat sitter, Mary Beth, was wonderful. She sent me photos and detailed reports every visit. My senior cat is shy and needs special attention and Mary Beth was patient and caring with her. I like that Meowtel specializes in cats, as most services are for dogs. I will definitely use Meowtel and Mary Beth again!

Been impressed in all respects

My husband and I have been using Meowtel for the past year and a half now. The app is easy and straightforward to use. It has all the features you need like the ability to message your sitter, post and read reviews, and update your and your kitty’s information. The only feature I would add is the ability to modify an existing reservation…like shorten and/or extend it.

Great App. Let´s you find a cat sitter easily, and also allows for the management of the reservation as it is happening. Have used the app about 4 times, all cat sitters have been excellent.

The sitter was meticulous in taking notes and following through. She sent great photos at every visit, and was so pleasant. I trust her completely.

Meowtel makes it so convenient to find a great cat sitter. I’ve used them for my last few vacations and I have so much more peace of mind when I’m gone.

I was a little skeptical using Meowtel though it was recommended by my vet. I was hesitant permitting a stranger access to my home. But at Christmas boarding places were full. My fears were unfounded as the caretaker was excellent: even adding an extra visit on her own initiative. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Bobbie is great! I must say I am impressed, especially since my cat is usually shy, but he got familiar with Bobbie right away. Bobbie followed all the instructions and treated my cat well (changing his water, giving him treats, etc.). She played with him, and he liked her, which is very important to me.

I even had to add one more day to my reservation because my cat liked her so much. There was a snowstorm during my reservation (1–2 days), but Bobbie still came to take care of Ollie. I really appreciate her dedication!

In addition, kudos to Meowtel! This was my first time using the service, and I’m sure I’ll use it again. My reservations were during the holidays, around New Year's, so it was a bit difficult to contact my cat sitter at first. I reached out to Meowtel, and they got in touch with her right away. They kept communicating with me to ensure I was comfortable and that everything was going smoothly with my reservations and other requests.

Meowtel has been so helpful for me. The pet sitters I’ve used were wonderful. It was the only site where I could find someone who is highly trained in taking care of a cat with special needs. I was especially blown away by their customer service. I closed my account when my cat died. I didn’t realize that my refund from a booking had to be done via the site/app. I contacted them, and they were very responsive and incredibly kind. Several days later I received a huge sympathy bouquet. Took me by complete surprise. I thought they were a NYC-based company, and that’s why I got a personalized response, but Meowtel is all over the country! I highly recommend them.

We were very happy with our cat sitter. Our sitter fed the two cats, cleaned up after one of the cats, watered our indoor plants that needed watering.

We've been booking with Meowtel for about three years and in three different cities. Each time, our experience has been very positive. The sitters have all been responsive, reliable, and obvious cat lovers. I appreciate the free meet-and-greet and key drop and I love the detailed updates with photos. I know my cats will always be in good hands when I'm out of town.

Once, Meowtel had to cancel one of my reservations because the sitter hadn't met the company's standards of conduct. Meowtel made it very easy by adding a credit to my account and helping me rebook. I appreciate their transparence and feel that they are an honest and trustworthy company.
