Absolutely would not recomend as I had worst experiance ever seling my properry trough this agent.
Avoid those guys.

I had an appointment with Michael Graham at Kingsbridge following bleeding that lasted for over 40 days.

Thankfully, I was not anaemic, which I believe is partly due to having always been in very good health and maintaining good food and lifestyle habits. However, I had been experiencing significant tiredness and drowsiness, backpain, no energy to do anything and I was concerned about this.

Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that my concerns were fully listened to. I was told that I couldn’t be experiencing weakness or drowsiness because I wasn’t anaemic, and when I tried to explain how I had been feeling, I was told, “I’ve already gone through your notes.”

I left the appointment feeling that I hadn’t been properly heard or that my symptoms had been explored in enough detail. Overall, I didn’t find the consultation particularly helpful or reassuring.

I appreciate that doctors have to consider the clinical information available to them, but I feel that listening to the patient and understanding how they are actually feeling is also an important part of a consultation.

We have just sold and bought through Michael Graham. Tristan was our main contact and throughout the process he went above and beyond. Not only was he brilliant in helping us secure our new home, Tristan worked tirelessly to find a buyer for our sale at a fantastic price. We can't recommend Angie Conlon at Michael Graham Olney highly enough. Although we haven't actually ended up purchasing a property through Michael Graham (yet!), Angie has been absolutely wonderful throughout our search for a home in Olney. From our very first viewing, she has been incredibly warm, knowledgeable, honest and patient. She took the time to really understand what we were looking for rather than simply trying to sell us a property and every viewing with her felt relaxed and enjoyable. Her knowledge of Olney and the local market has been invaluable, and we always felt that we could trust her advice.

Buying and selling a home can be a stressful process, particularly when you're trying to co-ordinate your own sale at the same time but Angie has made the searching side of it genuinely enjoyable. She has always made us feel welcome, remembered the things that mattered to us and never made us feel pressured. We've now decided to pause our search until the sale of our own property is further progressed but when we're ready to start looking seriously again, Angie will absolutely be one of the first people we contact.

From initial offer to completion, Steve Tillyer provided an outstanding service, diligent, professional and supportive. Our purchase was not straight forward but Steve being the consummate professional was super experienced and guided us all the way. We can not recommend Steve and the Aylesbury Michael Graham branch more highly.

I bought my house through Towcester MG over ten years ago, and during that time I've regularly received the usual "helpful" reminders from Michael Graham. You know the ones: "The market is buoyant... your house is probably worth more than you think... if you've ever considered selling..." Mildly irritating, but fair enough - it's marketing.

A couple of months ago, I received what must have been their summer postcard campaign saying they'd just sold a property near mine and still had buyers actively looking for similar homes. A clever angle for sure. (I had also one from Fisher German with the same angle btw)

Perfect timing, I thought. So I replied.

To Steve Irlam, the writer of the card and director of the Towcester office, I believe, whose email address was printed on the card.

Silence.

and no "We've got it" auto reply mail, either

A week or so later I sent a polite follow-up.

More silence.

At this point I assumed Steve must be on holiday, Perhaps he'd finally taken a few clog dancing lessons or something.

So I emailed another negotiator at his office.

Success! I got a reply within minutes.

Well... an automatic reply.

She was out of the office enjoying maternity leave (congratulations, by the way) and advised contacting the general sales email address instead. Ok no problem.

Meanwhile, I received another beautifully produced card from Steve telling me—yes, you've guessed it— we have more active buyers and to get in touch. This one suggested using the general sales email address and not his. Mmm had he been inundated with replies to the first run and realised he should not have put his own address on the first card. Dunno.

Fine, so I did.

Again nothing.

Not an acknowledgement. Not an auto-reply. Nothing

I checked my spam...twice. Not even a message saying everyone had disappeared for a two-martini lunch. Silence.

Weeks have now passed since my first mail. I was beginning to wonder if the office actually existed, and the maternity autoreply was in error. I even checked their url again. But there they were: Steve and the gang. All smiling and looking quite willing and capable.

Unable to pop into the office or phone, I thought I'd try the Head Office. Surely someone there would also wonder why a genuine and potential vendor, who was replying via the requested method, was disappearing into what appeared to be an administrative black hole.

And yet again communicating with the head office - using their own message page on their website...nothing. No reply. No acknowledgement. No auto: "Dear lovely future client, thanks for getting in touch." Nada.

Just complete silence.

This time I thought WTactualF? Was it me? Had I broken the internet? Had I somehow offended the estate agent gods? Had the rubber band in my laptop run out again?

There had to be a simple answer.

Then it came to me, I had it, "I bet I know how I can get someone to respond" I thought - So I emailed Howkins & Harrison Estate Agents.

It was a Saturday.

By lunchtime on Sunday I'd had four missed calls.

I spoke to them on Monday. They came to see me on Tuesday. I'll see them again when I need them.

And that's how I'd imagined this whole "selling your house" lark usually worked.

I genuinely don't know what's happening at Michael Graham. Their marketing certainly works—it persuaded me to get in touch after all. But if your communication system is set up so that the only person to respond is the one who couldn't really help me, then something has gone very wrong somewhere.

It's a shame, because attracting potential sellers must be expensive and ignoring the 1.5% (or whatever the statistic is) who actually do respond seems like a redundant business tactic unless the plan is to lose clients.

It feels like these cards and letters are just about brand awareness rather than what the card really says?

Anyway chin chin - I'm off to lunch.

Whilst they may not be the cheapest Estate Agent they are by far the most effective and driven in selling the property.
Cannot fault their customer database and the number of viewings generated until a sale is achieved.

We had a great experience with Michael Graham, both selling and buying through them. All the team were responsive and friendly throughout the process and we felt well supported. Highly recommend.

Steve, Jane and Lee were all a pleasure to deal with. They were all super responsive and always on hand to help with any queries.

Recently sold our house through Michael Graham in a slow and challenging market. Good communication and organisation, flexible and responsive to our needs. Kept us updated on progress. Excellent photography and listing on website was regularly refreshed. A couple of minor admin hiccups were resolved. Pushed the sale through to exchange and completion with complicated chain.

The entire Michael Graham Hitchin team was an invaluable asset in the sale of my flat. Although the process took much longer than we anticipated, their patience, professionalism and teamwork was critical to completing the sale.

Adam provided the relevant information provided us with the space to decide under no pressure.

House sale went very smoothly. Conveyancers were good, buyers didnt mess around and Estate Agents did their job efficiently. If only it was always like this :-)

Henry was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process.

Henry was super professional and easy to chat to. He really knew about the property and was able to answer all our questions (a rarity some estates agents!!)

Recently bought a house through Michael Graham and we were well looked after. Regan, Rob and Roger provided an excellent service, always easy to reach and helpful; they went out of their way on many occasions to make it happen. Overall, they were thoughtful and very professional throughout the process. I know who to go to if I ever want to sell.

My review relates to the Woburn Sands branch.

The sale of my house took a mammoth seven months, but this was absolutely no fault of the staff at Michael Graham. Under very challenging circumstances, they were all fantastic throughout and worked tirelessly towards the end to ensure I didn’t lose my onward purchase.

I’d especially like to mention Saoirse who handled the transaction as though it were her own when it mattered most.
