I have rented out my flat through Miles…
I have rented out my flat through Miles & Barr for many years and found them to be very efficient. I can’t say I have had any problems which have not been able to sort. They have always put excellent tenants in my flat and dealt with any problems the tenants might have promptly and without any fuss. My current property manager Lisa Stamp is great she is very friendly and if I require anything she delivers almost immediately in a friendly and efficient manner. I am very happy with her.

My interactions with Michelle Purse, in particular, who is always courteous and extremely thorough and Gillian were both productive and professional in their manner.
I do feel the Directors should consider much lower fees when renewing Rental Agreements for a new Tenant, where a Landlord has already been paying monthly Management Fees without having to be asked or negotiated down. Disappointing.

The service is great! It really takes the stress and any annoyance out of our lives. We have full trust in the team and always think that quotes are reasonably priced.
Mostly ok
I was a tenant with Miles & Barr for 3 years. They were quite slow to get problems sorted out, and at the end of my tenancy they created confusion/worry for me as they did not seem to know that my moving out date had already been decided and told me I needed to give 2 months' notice, which I didn't need to.

Portfolio Managers are a must
We've been dealing with Miles & Barr as Managing Agent for our properties for more than 20 years and in all that time we've received good service.
As our portfolio grew it became increasingly evident, to avoid duplication of work and 'the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing' scenario, that a 'Portfolio Manager' was required to handle all correspondence relating to our properties that had previously been dealt with by different offices within the Miles & Barr group.
When Michelle (now Michelle Purse) joined your team she evolved as our 'go-to' contact and was able to pull things together. We've depended upon her knowledge of the business and worked together to resolve more complicated issues.
More recently, she's been the hinge-pin while we've been dealing with a non-communicative tenant and as 'Portfolio Manager', for want of a better title, Michelle has been able to maintain (and retain) an overall grasp of the matter. She's been our channel of communication with Miles and Barr.
Her continued support and understanding is the reason for our comments which, we're hoping, will not go unnoticed by management.

Gracie Brown has recently been appointed as my Relationship Manager for the rental property. She has been been very responsive to my requests; she gets back to me in a timely manner. She is very knowledgeable about the recent legal changes and explained them clearly to me.

I just want to give a massive thank you to Louise daly for all her help with our house buying process! She was honestly amazing, so quick at replying to us and actually getting things from the solicitors when they were being very slow.. Louise gave us the best experience and we are very grateful for her hard work.

She is polite friendly and has unbelievable patience , even though it was a very short chain it was not without its complications, Nadine did a great job in keeping everyone informed and chasing just at the right time, it was reassuring to know that she was on the case and took a lot of the stress away from us. Slow progess and lack of clarity
We contacted someone at the company and arranged a viewing. Only to be told that this person had decided they weren´t able to show us around. Rather than inform us that someone else was taking up our request they transfered us onto someone else who then tried to cancel the viewing.

They have been very kind and patient with this whole process. Louise has been very helpful with everything we have needed and explained things when we was unsure. She has really made this experience much easier for us.
