Our entire experience with MMI was amazing. The communication was always good, including a couple of months during the four-year process when our money was tight, but now we are debt-free and we would never have been able to do it on our own.

Phenomenal program created by caring, compassionate and very helpful people. This organization saved my financial health. I am so grateful to have found them in time to save my credit. The work they did to make my bills manageable was awe-inspiring. Highly recommend!

Stellar service and real help. MMI gave me options and resources that I didn’t know were available in an understanding, through manner. I can’t thank them enough for the ease of mind and care that was given to me.

Do it!!! We were drowning in debt. Minimum payments and interest rates Sky high. They have not missed a beat. Got ALL the creditors to accept the minimum payment and interest rate and in 3-5 years all the debt will be gone. Gave us a new lease on life in 5 years and eased my burden. Always awesome on the phone as well. Nothing went to collections and credit rating didn’t take much of a hit.

Absolute garbage. All these companies care about is getting the banks paid in the end. I’m underwater working 60 hours a week and they can save me 300 dollars a month? How does that help?

The DMP changed my life. I was in what seemed like an endless cycle, paying monthly and with the high interest rates, my balances weren’t moving in a meaningful way. I took a chance with MMI because I didn’t want to just stop paying and end up with harassing phone calls and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. In less than four years with a reasonable monthly payment I am debt free. MMI negotiated reasonable rates with each creditor and the rest was history. I am forever grateful and have great credit now, which is putting me in the position to purchase a home and a new car within the next year.

I was passed over to MMI through my credit card company, after I called them about my interest rate and was passed through about four different departments. I ended up with Carol with MMI and did not get a clear picture from her what MMI was until 3/4 of the way through the call - all I understood was that she was a nonprofit that was affiliated with Chase Bank. I listened patiently to her read off a script about the credit check and other protocols. I answered lots of demographic information. Toward the end, she asked me a lot of questions about my monthly expenditures. If the answer wasn't understood, I would receive the question again, like I was speaking to a recording. The conversation became tense and it felt very scammy. I see a lot of positive reviews here, which are encouraging, but I had a terrible first phone call.

ROWENA B. HELPED US - PART 2 UPDATE
July 26, 2023 - In 4 months and 2 days after counseling with Rowena, we are happy to report that we have paid off 6 Credit Cards. We started with a balance of $14,258.44 and now are down to $6,027.33 of total CC debt. With momentum on our side, we seized every opportunity to pay down our debt with MMI's proven program. It was hard at first, but now our monthly payment through MMI is $176, down from $492, saving us $316.00/month from MMI's draft. Our payoff time frame originally was 2 years, 11 months. This is possible. Prior to first speaking with Representative Rowena, we were paying $650-$675/month in CC payments on 11 cards. Now 6 of our cards (3 cards each respectively) are paid off in full. Our intent is to give hope to any and all who may read this. Patiently follow through with your Advisor's plan of action and be patient with yourself with your individual circumstance. It does work. The financial advisers thoroughly explained the entire procedure of their payment plan. We were able to meet our monthly payment obligations each month to MMI. It is a freeing experience to be able to get rid of troublesome debt and learn how to avoid cumbersome debt in the future.

I have used them multiple times with my credit card debt. I have become debt free with their help. Anytime I mess up financially, I’ll be going back to them. Lol.

I am so glad I used MMI. They made a five year plan for me, and now I am debt free! I highly recommend them if you have a lot of credit card debt.

I got myself in a bit of a bind. After being out of work due to several surgeries and spending my feeling away. My bills became more than I could handle. I finally decided to contact money management. They were extremely kind, patient and thorough. My monthly payments were reasonable and when life happened, they were still able to work me with. I am finally credit card debt free which is an unimaginable relief. My fiancée and I are looking for a house and now, I am no longer holding us back.

I just enrolled with MMI, so my experience is limited. The selling point for me, was they begin immediately addressing the debt instead of waiting for your accounts to go into a collection status which is what debt settlement companies do. My accounts are current and I don't want to deal with collections and the possibility of litigation which is a potential with debt settlement. Plus, the overall fee structure is much less with MMI compared to the 25% of debt fee the debt settlement companies charge and you have to report any write-off amount as income. Initially the debt settlement numbers look more attractive but long-term they are much much worse.

MMI is allowing me to take the best path forward with the least amount of stress because finances are my Achilles heal when it comes to stress. I tried working with one credit card company to reduce my interest but they were not agreeable to my request. Hopefully, MMI will have a better success as this is their wheelhouse. Time will tell but as of right now, I feel confident and relieved.

Back in 2012 my boyfriend went through a divorce....his ex got everything and my boyfriend gained all the debt. 30k to be exact! We ended up marrying and I was also committed to clearing his name because he had to have no debt for his employment! Everyone of his debts wanted $200 a month x 8 creditors ....we couldn't afford our life! I happened to find MMI ...they were nonprofit ...you make one payment to them and they take care of the rest! When we walked out of that meeting (back then everything was in person) we both felt so much better! We were both committed to getting rid of all that debt so any extra money we came in to we gave MMI some of it to attack it all faster! After 3 years we were finally debt free and my husband's credit score SKYROCKETED to the high 700s
Unfortunately we didn't learn our lesson! Our bank gave us a 25k credit card....BAD IDEA! Who needs that much credit anyway? We knew who to call....MMI...they were proud that we did retain a lot of what we learned! We called them before we became overwhelmed, and before any missed payments! Once again we are using MMI to dig out of a hole we put ourselves in! We cannot thank MMI enough! We know how it feels to finally be debt free and we know we will be there again!
