I saw a classic car I liked on their site which looked immaculate from the photos, but having read the terrible reviews on here, i had an independent mechanic check it out thoroughly first. It's a good job I did. The car was in such poor condition, it would cost a fortune to even put right, never mind drive away. The photos on the site were obviously taken months ago and since then, it's been left to rot, inside and out. What the advert didn't tell me is that the suspension and brakes were covered in rust, the water pump was leaking, the gearbox and underside of the car were damp, the battery was dead, the interior covered in mould, and the dashboard showing a 'restricted performance' warning light (to name but a few). I'd estimate that it was worth no more than £3k, as opposed to the asking price of £8k. I've definitely dodged a bullet. Two stars only on the basis that they at least allowed a mechanic in to view the car for me properly first. I've heard they don't always do the same for other potential buyers.

After seeing the horror reviews was really put off but as the car was 5k cheaper than anywhere else had to look! 1 owner full bmw history so a good start! And now it's on my drive and I couldn't be more pleased with my X3 M40d! If you want a cheap car defo worth a look! If the cars was as bad as the reviews then trading standards should/would of shut them down. If you want Total peace of mind buy your own warranty simple

DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!

I bought a Citroen Spacetourer (Reg: BH19WXV) from Motorhub (Motorsure Ltd, Keighley, West Yorkshire) on July 27, 2025, sold as "ready to go" with six new injectors. Ten minutes into my journey home, I noticed white smoke, which they claimed was just residual diesel burning off. Shortly after, the engine started misfiring, and I was advised to continue driving. A few miles later, engine management lights appeared, signaling an engine fault and performance loss.

I called again, and they told me to carry on. Eventually, after topping up the AdBlue, I reached my parents' house and arranged for recovery the next day. On July 28, 2025, they refused a refund, saying they would repair it. By July 29, they hadn’t even started diagnosing it. I requested a refund under the Consumer Rights Act, but they refused.

After weeks of delays and no real updates, they finally identified a faulty injector but continued to lie about when it would be fixed. On August 12, 2025, they told me they wouldn't fix the car and I could come and collect it.

They kept stopped responding to emails, I created new email address/alias' to catch them out. Weeks later I sent a company to collect and diagnose the vehicle, to no surprise the vehicle wasn't ready to collect. They then sent a PDF letter saying they acknowledged the fault but still wanted time to repair, at this point it had been a whole month, I reiterated all the issues and continued to request a refund. They refused again.

I got in touch with West Yorkshire Trading Standards ADR scheme and they contacted Motorhub on 12th Sept, on 18th September Motorhub emailed me requesting that I bring the relevant paperwork back and they will refund me for the vehicle.

Yesterday, 26/09/25, I went to them and got my refund in full.

For those of you who are reading this before purchasing, save yourself some time and avoid them, others that were unlucky like me, document everything, refuse a repair and request a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 Short Term Right to Reject if you have had the vehicle less than 30 days.

If they refuse, just email West Yorkshire Trading Standards ADR Scheme or fill the form out on their website and hopefully you get a swift resolution.

Mototrhubnj.....they are a total joke and waste of time

So I asked the guy how long the car has been sitting he said since July I said I'll buy the car if you change oil and flush old transmission fluid..that was a problem so I told him to keep his car

Buyer beware take your mechanic with you

Terrible company! I purchased a Volvo from them, which I took to authorised dealer for a service. I reported some issues with acceleration (hybrid car) and Volvo admitted that there is an issue 10 days after the purchase. However, I had to wait another 2 months for them to actually open the car to see what's going on. In the end it was ERAD, which Motorhub refused to repair, even though Volvo confirmed on paper that there is an issue with the vehicle straight after the purchase. They didn't even want to talk to me, or reply any of my emails. ZERO CONTACT! After me sending them a letter, they just forwarded it to their lawyer. Don't buy from this company, don't make my mistakes.

I strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to think twice. Also known as Motorsure LTD.

I purchased a vehicle, a White Land Rover Discovery (Reg: ****ONJ) in April 2025, which had supposedly just passed an MOT on 8th April 2025 with no advisories. Within hours of collection, serious faults emerged and both RAC Diagnostics and a Land Rover main dealer confirmed multiple dangerous defects, including with the EGR, DPF, and other critical systems. Land Rover clearly stated the car was unsafe to drive and required repairs worth several thousand pounds.

Despite this, Motorhub dismissed professional diagnostics, delayed communication, and failed to take responsibility. I was forced to spend thousands in solicitor fees, diagnostics, and even pay to return the vehicle myself and wait 5 months of my life. Their customer service is evasive, emails go unsigned, staff refuse to give names on the phone, and they constantly shift blame.

It is deeply concerning that a car in this condition was sold as “safe” and passed an MOT just days earlier, raising serious questions about their practices.

If you check other reviews here and on Google, you’ll see a clear pattern of similarity.

I took Motorhub (also known as Motorsure) to court — and I won.

On June 1st, 2024, I purchased a Peugeot 308 SW from them. It broke down on the way home. When I contacted them the next day, they denied responsibility and claimed I had signed a document acknowledging the fault. I hadn’t.

What they actually did was add a false statement after I signed the invoice and forged my signature beneath it. When confronted, they claimed to have CCTV proof showing me agreeing to the fault. That supposed evidence was never shown in court — because it didn’t exist.

The car had 24 faults. I returned it on a tow truck. They threatened storage charges. I filed a claim.

On June 23rd, 2025 — after two court dates and over a year of fighting — the court awarded me everything I claimed: full refund, costs, and interest. The judge confirmed the signature was forged and the added statement was fraudulent. Vindication.

Before this, Motorhub even tried to offer a weak settlement with a condition that I never speak publicly about it. I declined.

Let this review be the warning they tried to silence: I would never trust or recommend this company to anyone.

Bought a car off them and while in the waiting room they walked past with a diagnostic machine. Received my car and the same afternoon they engine management light come on so it’s obvious they wiped the light before selling me the car. They told me to take it up with the warranty which is good for a whopping £250 ! A simple diagnostic check is £60 to start with. They then agreed to arrange the repairs for me so had to drive to Bradford land leave the car with some dodgy back ally cowboy mechanic who covered the car matts with oil. And since he worked on the car he had for a week a lot more issues have flagged up with the turbo and a whole list of other problems. Do your research on this company they have been fined by trading standards and are selling dangerous cars to families

These people are crooks who will take your money and not abide by any law they’re subjected to. We purchased a vehicle for our family of 6 (including 4 young children). As soon as we got home we noticed a substantial oil leak on our drive. We took it to our local garage who said the engine needs to come out in order to fix the leak and would cost in excess of £1500 to repair. We decided, as within our rights, to reject the vehicle as we’d had it barely 48 hours. Surprise, surprise they out right refused us to return the car. Hence we will start legal proceedings as advised. I should have read the reviews on here beforehand and I wouldn’t have gone anywhere near them, let alone purchase a car of these muppets. AVOID AT ALL COST!

I have recently bought a van from Hewson's and they have been great. I had it delivered to Plymouth and the whole experience has been a good one. Luke and the team have been very good all throughout and even now that I have the vehicle their care and attention has not faltered.

Brought a car for my wife from the guys at Motorhub. Had it shipped to Northern Ireland and the car arrived exactly as described and as shown in the videos they sent. Very easy to deal with and nothing was ever too much trouble. Had the car inspected by my mechanic once recieved and he was happy it was mechanically in top condition.

I would have no reservations about buying another vehicle from the folks at Motorhub..... and most likely will.

Seriously consider spending your money when coming here, I had my car for 13 days and it's completely died. Trying to execute my right to reject the car, they are refusing a refund although we are entitled within 30 days. Made us pay for a recovery truck to refuse to look at the car when we arrived. Stay well clear
