Continued charging me but account is on free tier

Used for years, service good. Then recently I lived in and noticed my account had changed to a "free account." But I was still being charged 7.99 a month. I don't know how long this sent on for, but it's disingenuous to continue to charge customers for a service tier that no longer exists. Cancelled my payments via PayPal because my account no longer shows I was a paying customer. Disappointing but I won't go back

Hello I am someone that needs to host…

Hello I am someone that needs to host some images on my site, Google Drive doesn't provide good option so use of MultCloud with Remote Copy between drives provides me with this feature to retrieve later file name and show the image on my blog from Amazon S3 API, add it could be a good option to also transfer to Dropbox for file reading on the phone or remote upload from internet, the only drawback is Zoom because they provide 5 files did not know how to use with remote upload to upload Zoom saving to my drive.

Waste of time and money

I bought the unlimited plan April 4 - 2025 to sync our Google Photo's Google Drive and Evernote accounts to my local Synology disks.
So far so good, but when starting to sync i got all kinds of errors.
I tried all settings, sync, mirror, transfer, real time, simple sync and so on.
Support does not help in any way - just telling us to choose less files - re-add Google Photo/drive or Evernote.
I have done this so many times and it is really frustrating.
It's easy to loose track of tasks if you have to relate to 50 different tasks to be able to sync a small amount of data.

Regarding Google Photo - Multcloud support admitted that they trouble reading data and they have to reprogram on their side.
Timeline? They say weeks. This is terrible!
I believe they have more trouble with Evernote.

Evernote points their finger to Multcloud.

I have used more than two weeks trying to get Multcloud to sync our files communicating with support 25 mails getting nothing useful from them.

If MultCloud had delivered by their promises the product would have been just what I need but now there is only lot's of timewasting operations.

(I have now downloaded all my files manually from Google and Evernote. It took just some hours)

Last answer from support at multcloud.com to arild.lovaas at autosense.no:

Due to recent updates to Google Photos' official API permission policies, third-party platforms (including MultCloud) are now restricted from accessing Google Photos data. As a result, MultCloud is currently unable to list original data from Google Photos.
We are actively exploring alternative solutions, including communicating directly with Google Photos, to resolve this issue. However, we are currently unable to provide a specific timeline for resolution.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support. We will share updates as soon as there is any progress.

Multicloud is slow and expensive

Multicloud is slow and expensive, the transfer speed is only 2mb/s I could do it with my own internet faster.

Please note that transfer speed can vary depending on the number and size of files being transferred. When there are many small files, the system needs to initiate a large number of individual requests, which can slow down the overall speed due to increased overhead.

On the other hand, if you're transferring fewer but larger files, the transfer is generally more efficient and faster.

Multcloud und dann fangen die Probleme an.....

Ich habe mir gestern bei Multcloud einen 1 Jahres Zugang angelegt, damit ich meine OneDrive Daten nach iCloud zu verschieben kann. Insgesammt geht es um 550GB an Daten unterschiedlichster Art. Bisher ist nicht ein einziger Task komplett durchgelaufen oder war erfolgreich. Auch die Fehlermeldungen in den Logs (die genau da abgeschnitten sind, wo es interessant wäre) sind nicht hilfreich.
Ich glaube ehrlich, dass es mittlweile einfacher ist, die Daten von OneDrive per Download auf den lokalen Rechner zu holen und dann von dort aus in Richtung iCloud zu transferieren.
Ich finde Multcloud vom Ansatz her wirklich gut, aber so, wie aktuell die Umsetzung erfolgt, kann ich nur davor warnen und es nicht empfehlen

I made a huge mistake when I purchased…

I made a huge mistake when I purchased the lifetime plan. The service simply doesn't work. One out of every 10 transfers works and 9 fail. The service is slow even for premium users, which makes no sense to subscribe to the service.
Transfers between clouds only work for small files (and few), which is very easy to do manually.
Definitely don't make the mistake of subscribing.

What a terrible experience

What a terrible experience. I was hoping for a very easy solution. This is not it. I have 250GB of files that I want to transfer from OneDrive to iCloud. I selected my entire OneDrive and told it to transfer. It told me I couldn't have more than 200 selections. So I had to MANUALLY select 200 files and folders. Fine. Small price to pay I thought. So then I pressed the button and it started transferring. It took a couple of days and I saw the progress. But then the transfer job just stopped with a failure message. I saw some of my files had transferred, but not all of them. Which is not very helpful. There was no error or progress message. nothing. Just: Error. So I contacted customer service. They said that somewhere in my hundreds of thousands of files there's a file that has an invalid character. So just run the transfer again. The transfer cost me money, so I'm not going to run it again. They recommended that I individually select each folder and try to transfer it so I can narrow down where the invalid character is. I'm not doing that. That would take me all day and defeats the purpose of the service. I'll be asking for a full refund and contacting my credit card company if that doesn't work.

Do not waste your money on this service!

It simply does not work. I took a couple of weeks to supervise the data transfer between my clouds (about 78GB). And every transfer failed.

I have to find a different way to transfer the data.
