I have been utterly impressed from start to finish with the process of renewing my British Passport from abroad. Miguel is the name of the agent who helped me through the process, and I was quite frankly astounded by the quick, efficient and helpful responses to all my questions. I would even go so far as to say I felt cared for, not just another number and applicant. The whole format to renew and receive my passport whilst on the other side of the planet was excellent and straight forward and efficient. I am very grateful, and it makes me feel proud of my homeland.

We were skeptical about using this service at first, but our assigned assistant, Christa, reassured us and made sure we could transfer private documents safely. That was our initial concern. Christa kept us informed every step of the way and dealt with everything efficiently, kindly and thoughtfully. I received my new British passport this week so the whole process took about a month. Three months ago I applied for my adult daughters to get a British passport for the first time. The younger one got her passport without issue. The older one received an email requesting more documentation. We immediately requested help from UK Britishpassport to help us. We struggled to get documents and some were in French that had to be 100% translated to English. We asked the consultant to request an extension to the deadline. Instead he asked the examiner to reconsider the need for more documents asking what more they would prove. The examiner agreed and approved the application. My older daughter now has a new British passport thanks to Jan at UKBritishPassport.

Natasha my consultant was great. She answered all my questions promptly and made very sure that I had all the correct information even though it was time consuming, difficult and tedious.
The only more than frustrating experience had nothing to do with the consultant it had to do with why I could not have gone to the British Consulate or Embassy in Ontario to have my original documents acknowledged and verified. Canad is still part of the commonwealth and it made absolutely no sense that you would put me in a dire case of stress should I have potentially lost these documents somewhere in transit. Sending the only original copies I had even by verified and secure courier was more than daunting and extremely stressful.

I had a rather complicated application process after my British passport expired many years ago, I was now living abroad, and my name changed. However, Christa (my assigned agent) stepped me through the process and resolved a number of unforeseen hurdles along the way. She was very responsive and supportive.
