Melton magic at NT
Great service at Melton and great price. We didn't needs all of our tiles immediately and NT were willing to warehouse and deliver when required. All in all, 3 separate drops. Great overall experience

Dealing with Zac at Natiional Tiles…
Dealing with Zac at Natiional Tiles Bankstown was an absolute pleasure. Called him numerous times checking on styles and colours. Nothing was abother, our order was promptly put together and when there was an over estamate by our tiler, Zac soughted out the return of unopened boxes. This proper customer service. Well done National Tiles and in particular Zac at Bankstown.

Store needs to be better stocked.
Finally made our choice of tile. Only to find that they did not have the stock in store. Then we had to pay extra to have our tiles delivered from another store to our purchase store. Also, told we that they would be delivered on the Thursday, and did not hear anything until the Friday. Then when we went to pick up and choose grout and glue, this store did not have any glue on hand. To be fair regarding this, they did courier it our home at no extra charge.
We actually were not given the option to have our tiles delivered our home. We could go over to the other store, Tarneit , I think. Which is over the other side of the City from us.
Or pay to have them delivered to Moorabbin Store. No mention of having them delivered directly to our house.....

Promises made - not kept
Promised an email or text when our order arrived for collection.
No email.
No text.
Rang after 2 weeks to be told order was about to be sent back as we had not collected it.
Second time this has happened to us.
Last time this will happen to us - will never buy from you again.

Suppy/Delivery problems
Our experience with Nat Tiles started well. The display centre staff member at Artarmon was knowledgeable, patient and offered great advice and options. We ordered our tiles online finding the experience again good. The site was easy to navigate and has an insightful section helped us work out the appropriate amount of tiles to order. We were even able to select a preferred delivery date which we thought great as we could order well in advance to secure the tiles we wanted, for delivery at the right time to project manage our bathroom reno without worrying about storage. From there our experience turned bad.
One week out from the delivery date Nat Tiles confirmed supply and delivery as planned. Two days before delivery and with the tiler locked in, they rang to say they didn’t have all stock. The options they gave were unacceptable. Take delivery now with differing batch (colour) tiles, wait another 10 days for interstate delivery or wait 3 months for next international shipment. We had ordered, paid for and locked in a delivery date some 6 weeks prior. In numerous phone calls over a two week period we learned that Nat Tiles supply chain processes are pathetic. They only check stock in the week of delivery (even though you may have locked that in weeks in advance), and knowing that at best they may be able to find missing stock interstate - if the customer waits at least another week. I was forced to put my tiler on hold, and as a consequence my (small) bathroom project was delayed a further 3 weeks while I rearranged all the follow up trades. To add to the insult the guy delivering the tiles was sent to the wrong address and was rude.
At least Nat Tiles were quick to apologise and offered a refund on delivery fees. What they really need to do is have a long hard look at is improving their supply /stock processes. I have since learned from others that my experience wasn't a one off. If you choose to use National Tiles be sure to take the soonest available delivery date and arrange to store your purchase well before the tiles are needed for your project.

Account closure
I'm not to happy that if I haven't used my 30 day account it gets closed it would be good to get an email prior to this happening so I can either buy something or request it to stay open to be honest you missed out on a $15,000. order of tiles because Amber Tiles don't do this so I sent the customers there
