What a professional company
We had a Network Security alarm system fitted recently. The company kept to the schedule for fitting the system. Communications were excellent, whether by phone, text or email. Oleh, the technician who fitted the system, was superb. I would highly recommend Network Security.

Fantastic customer service
Just had a fantastic customer experience with Network Security. First got great tech support which resolved my immediate problem. Was then transferred to customer services to arrange a service. Nothing was available that suited me so John went off to ‘fix it’. Rang me back within 5 minutes with a date that worked with my schedule. In a world where it’s increasingly hard to speak to a human, and customer service has disappeared, this was a very welcome experience. Thank you.

They didn't honour the agreed contract
My cover with Network Security started on 27th September 2023. It had a 36 month minimum term. Therefore, the service minimum term ends 27th September 2026. I informed them in August that the final payment on 27th August would be my last and I would not be renewing (had to provide this cancellation in writing twice, plus over the phone, then again when they sent me a renewal anyway).
They took payment, then cut off the service on 11th September, over two weeks before the end of the term. I informed them that they had not provided the service for the full month I paid for. They tried to claim that the payment on 27th August was for the month of August and then stopped responding.
I paid for 36 months, they provided 35 months and 2 weeks of cover. I had already arranged the update in home insurance as per the agreed term and due to Network Security's failure to honour the contract, they have caused an issue with this.
Network Security owes me half a month's payment! They have essentially stolen this money from me because they haven't provided the service I paid for!
On top of this, the service is not worth the money. They will do everything they can to avoid sending Gardai to check and they were slow to call when the alarm was going off on multiple occasions. Also the equipment gave issues, and the engineer tried to sell more to me when checking it. They also placed the camera in the wrong place which triggered false alarms. Shoddy!

The installer experience with Vlad was…
The installer experience with Vlad was very positive.
However, the system itself seems to be lacking.
1. There is no external sounder on the panel mounted on the house. It's just a standalone object to deter intruders I guess, but the light is not even visible and it doesn't sound the alarm when the alarm goes off. So it doesn't show as an active system.
2. The shock sensors seem very sluggish to respond. I was banging almost as hard as I could on the windows and doors, inside the house near the sensor to see how it will set off. And I was afraid not to smash the window before the sensor set off. One of them actually never went off by banging solely on the frame. I don't know if this is normal, but it feels that they are not as responsive as you would like them to be to am intruder.
3. The information on extra sensors wasn't clear from the beginning, so ended up buying extra sensors on the day for €160 plus an increase in the original monthly price. It made me think I wouldn't buy again and go with a different supplier that has a clear full pack from beginning.
4. The picture camera quality does not seem very good, it's hard to distinguish a face from it. So overall apparatus not exceptional quality in my opinion.
Positives- there are however positive that they let you keep the system after 3 years and pay a reduced price for their continued support or the option to leave the system in your own control and pay for using the app, but that is still too expensive at 12€ a month just for accessing the app
But it feels like an easy to use system. Customer service seem very polite and responsive.

Regarding your points:
1. External sounder
The system is professionally monitored, so when an alarm is activated, you receive an immediate notification. A live external bell can also be added if you would like an audible external alarm.
2. Shock sensors
The sensitivity of the shock sensors can be adjusted to suit the individual property. This is important because every window, door and frame can behave differently, and the sensors need to be set to detect genuine impact while minimising false alarms. If you feel any of your sensors are not responding as expected, we would be happy to review and adjust them for you.
3. Additional sensors and pricing
Our base package can be configured to suit approximately 99.9% of homes, but every property is different and some customers choose to add additional protection. You were provided with a price list for any extra devices that you might wish to add on the day of installation. We appreciate, however, that the additional options and associated monthly cost could have been clearer from the beginning, and we take that feedback on board.
4. Camera quality
The PIR camera is designed specifically for visual alarm verification. It is not intended to operate as a live-streaming HD security camera. When an alarm is triggered, the PIR camera captures an image to help verify what has caused the activation. We appreciate that the image quality may not meet everyone's expectations, particularly if you are looking for facial identification or a continuous live video feed.
We do appreciate your feedback, including the positives and the areas where you feel the system could be improved. We’re particularly pleased that you’ve found the system easy to use and that our customer service team has been responsive.
