We enjoyed an 8-day tour of Scotland with a private driver. Lauriane helped us with all details including the facts that members of our party were arriving and departing on different days and coming from different countries. Our driver, Ian, was wonderful and particularly attentive to suggesting activities for our five-year-old granddaughter. He even went out of his way to retrieve a stuffed animal left at one of the hotels while we were sightseeing. Both Lauriane and Ian helped us to visit a particular site that was important to us and very much off the beaten track. It made the trip very special.

This was our first Nordic Visitor experience, and it could not have been better! Our Iceland consultant, Simona Chylová, was available every step of the way, and was great! We loved the fact that we could arrive any day to begin our trip, and just choose a hotel level and car and that was it! All the details were handled. And Iceland...well...it's gorgeous! A great trip on every level!

Just returned from a 10 day self drive of Iceland. Simona convinced us that we needed the 10 day itinerary to ensure we could appreciate the Icelandic scenery and not be stressed with long drives and feel rushed. She was right. The itinerary was perfectly timed with the planned overnight lodging readily accessible. It was reassuring to know if any problems arose during our travels Nordic Visitor and Simona Chylova just a phone away.

Marko and Sotiria were so helpful with any requests that we had while on our trip. They did a great job of keeping us up to date on any changes that we needed to be aware of, including a ferry cancellation and dinner issues at one hotel. The spots they picked for us were fantastic. We highly recommend Nordic Visitor for any trip to Iceland.

We had a wonderful self driving trip to Norway with Nordic Visitor. This was our second trip --we also did a self drive to Iceland. Sofia at Nordic Visitor was great to work with—we took a 10 day trip Scenic Norway and customized it into 2 weeks. All the details are taken care of—accommodations were wonderful and the pace of the trip was just right. Highly recommend!

Super organized. We loved the map of Iceland with various sites highlighted that was included in our Welcome Pack. Marco was very responsive to our questions and requests for additional bookings (Add-Ons). Everything went smoothly - hotels, rental cars, Ad-Ons.

Our self-guided trip was planned perfectly from start to finish. The accommodations were great, and the route around the ring road offered access to everything Iceland has to offer. The fact that Nordic Visitor booked all the hotels, rental car, and our chosen activities removed the stress of trip planning. They were very responsive throughout the planning process and also when we contacted our representative during our trip. Our trip couldn’t have been better. We had an excellent experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Nordic Visitor on my small group Iceland tour. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, systematic, and very easy to follow, covering beautiful destinations without feeling overwhelming. Their planning was excellent, and their communication throughout was professional, prompt, and reassuring.

A special mention to Zachary, who was the travel advisor and took care of all the details, including arranging vegetarian meals for me as per my specific requirement. I also really appreciated the hard-bound brochure, map, and detailed itinerary handed over at airport pick-up. It made navigating the route and remembering each destination so much easier, especially in a country like Iceland where there is so much to take in.

Kitty, our guide and driver, made the journey even more special with his sense of humour, friendliness, guidance, and travel stories. Overall, Nordic Visitor made the trip smooth, memorable, and beautifully organized. Highly recommended.

Our trip to Iceland was planned by Marko at Nordic Visitor. Everything that he set worked as planned. It took the worry out our wonderful trip. Booking the trip was very easy. The hotels were great. The experience picking up the car was very easy.

Our 10 Day Natural Wonders of Iceland tour was absolutely fantastic. Great upfront support from the company. All the information needed to make the trip easy to plan. Our trip rep was Simona and she was terrific. Quick, thoughtful responses. Gave excellent guidance while we were planning the tour. Everything went very smoothly before the tour. Timely, well-informed.
First class facilities - starting with the airport pickup and the tour van. Great hotel rooms - very clean and comfortable. All the meals were terrific - great service and very delicious. Gave us the chance to change meals due to dietary restrictions or preferences.
Well planned tour pace. Saw all kinds of things without ever feeling rushed. Our guide, Dagur, was top, top notch. I can’t imagine having a better guide. He was so helpful and friendly and ran the tour with a gentle hand. Kept the schedule, but never rushed us.
Waterfalls galore, geysers, glaciers, black sand beaches, harbor seals, a surprisingly wonderful Herring Museum, snow covered mountains, lava fields, scenery that never stopped.
We learned SO much about Iceland from our guide (Dagur). He adjusted his talks and even the places we stopped based on things of interest of the various members of the group. He managed to impart his lifelong knowledge and experience of being an Icelander to us during the tour.
We’ve been on a number of guided tours with other companies. I have always enjoyed them but had times of frustration with the guide, some of the facilities and service from the tour company - enough so that I hesitated taking another tour. This Nordic Visitor tour was truly different. The facilities were all great and an A++ guide made me feel very smart for choosing this tour. Can't imagine a better tour experience from start to finish.

Had a great time. Barbara worked really hard to make sure we were looked after and enjoyed ourselves. I felt the correspondence from our rep before the trip was so so. Every time I emailed I got no response after several days and had to call. Tour drivers were both very good, Henry and Loraine. The sites visited were great.

My partner and I were thoroughly overwhelmed with coordinating the proper logistics to fully take advantage of all Norway had to offer - there was so much to see and do, but all rather far apart, with ferries and rentals and budget all to consider.

Fortunately, we finally found Nordic Visitor whose road trip packages SAVED our trip! We were truly considering not going before we found them. Jemima and her team were so unbelievably accommodating, allowing us to combine and reasonably customize some of their packages to build our perfect 12-day itinerary. After our destinations were set, they handled EVERYTHING from there. Hotels, rental cars, domestic flights, excursions, even detailed driving instructions, recommendations, and timing considerations to guide us in a totally new country. And despite the fact that the NV team had considered and communicated everything to us clearly (their customer portal is GENUIS for storing travel documents - I don't know why all tour companies don't do this?), the trip still felt flexible and relaxed. No day felt rushed, no excursion felt kitschy, and we were still able to discover our own hidden gems along the way.

It's rare that a trip has virtually no hiccups... but this was one of those trips. A minor excursion reschedule was handled immediately by Jemima and ended up working out even better for us, but other than that it was such a special trip knowing that everything behind the scenes was taken care of. From booking our trip in February to departing on our last day in late May, the only thing we had to think about was getting our international flights and where to hike and eat. It was so seamless that we even ended up getting engaged :)

This was one of my most memorable holidays. It was fantastic from start to finish. The contact with Nordic Visitor staff, who were kind and helpful, couldn’t be faulted. The transfers really smooth. The hotels were very good quality and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, his banter keeping us all laughing through the rain! Iceland is the most beautiful country with incredible geological sights, all covered amazingly by this wonderful company.

Dave and John got us to so many places, safely, comfortably, and in a good humor! The sites were wonderful, the stories were grand and funny, and the accommodations were really well selected. Would definitely join their tour again!

A truly positive experience! A great group of people from Australia, the UK and the US. Javier was an amazing and experienced guide who ensured our experience on this tour was the best! The Highlights of Scandinavia tour was filled with many positive adventures, great local guides, variety of transportation types and genuine fellow travellers. This tour is highly recommended and Javier is the best!

This was a wonderful trip. I enjoyed everywhere we stopped, though the highlights would be the Books of Kells and the Long Hall at Trinity, the Black Cab tour in Belfast, the Cliffs of Moher, the jaunting horse cart ride in Killarney National Park, and Blarney Castle. The hotels and food were fabulous. Geraldine, our guide, was knowledgeable and insightful and took the time to get to know each one of us, which I've never had in a tour guide. She's truly a gem. Liam, our driver, went above and beyond, always getting us as close to our destination as possible, even driving us into Killarney one evening to make our lives easier. The small group was great, allowing me toget to know each person as well as making the trip far more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
