Marko really preparted us incredibly well for the experience - he was very informative and very patient. By the time the trip came we felt very prepared. All the accommodations and all the excursions were superb.

We began our resersvation about a year ago and from the very beginning Marko, at Nordic Visitor, was so helpful. We just completed our trip and he walked us through the process every step of the way. He was courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful.
Our tour guide, Horva was equally as wonderful. I think he knew everything about Iceland that was possible. He made the trip so enjoyable.
I would recommend and use Nordic Visitor again whenever possible.

Everything was seamless - truly an amazing trip. Having this part of our trip planned made it all so easy and not so overwhelming. We loved all the suggestions of things to do. We loved our “moderate” hotels - the location and breakfasts were outstanding. My favorite hotel was our historic room in Flam.

Spent 6 days on the Ring Road Tour with 4 couples in a small bus.
Local Guide/Driver Haflidl was GREAT...full of stories, history, & information.
Hotels were good and a few quite special, always had a breakfast supplied and dinners were top-notch too.
Pre-Tour communication was excellent & their customer service throughout was excellent.
Was able to disembark and see a ton of stuff, never felt rushed.

Our trip to Iceland with Nordic Visitor was terrific. The hotels were great, maps, directions, and suggestions were first rate. We took the 8 day self drive and stay package. It was good knowing where we were going to stay at night and driving with that destination in mind. The breakfast buffets were very good (suggestion: because food is very expensive, we made a sandwich for lunch from what was offered and brought our own collapsible water bottles for drink)

I thoroughly enjoyed all 11 days traveling through Ireland and Scotland. Mike was an AMAZING guide and a huge part of what made this trip so special. His knowledge, humour, kindness, storytelling and historical knowledge both facts and fairies made the trip truly memorable.

The hotel accommodations were beautiful, and every staff member I encountered was friendly, polite, and helpful. I really appreciated having the daily activities and sightseeing thoughtfully planned out while still allowing for a great balance of independent free time each day. Would definitely book another adventure with Nordic Visitor.

As an elderly woman who travels solo, it was important for me to feel comfortable with who I was going to be with. I did read Nordic reviews prior to booking. Our tour guide and driver were excellent!

Barbara was very knowledgeable about Scottish history, which I enjoyed. John was a safe and impressive driver.

Excellent, personal service by Marko, who set up my round-the-island road trip, resulting in a wonderful holiday on my first visit to Iceland.

The trip was advertised as a small group, and we were a group of 12. The trip was the 7 Wonders of Scotland! Our guide and driver were excellent! John and Kenny were knowledgeable and local. They had many years of experience and shared their knowledge of the each area with us.

Nordic Visitor's Guðrún Líf Björnsdóttir was extremely helpful in setting up our recent self-driving tour of West and South Iceland. She was very responsive to our questions. Our tour was fantastic! Transfers from airport to hotel and car rental were very smooth. Detailed daily information was very helpful and made the daily drive stress free. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

We have just ended our 12 day self drive ring road journey in Iceland. WOW!!! what an amazing experience from start to finish Zachary John Scott did an excellent job organizing this journey for us. The memories we created will last a lifetime, We highly recommend Nordic Visitor.

The tour guide, Barbara, and driver, John were very nice and professional. Barbara is extremely knowledgeable and passionate on Scottish history and John is a top notch driver. He navigated our bus through the tightest of spaces and kept us all safe and sound. When one of our days got rained out Barbara added in a sheep experience which was very nice. Unfortunately, this trip and itinerary in general was more fit for an older crowd, not active 40-somethings like me and my partner. Although we saw a good portion of Scotland the majority of the tour was spent on the motorcoach where other passengers were fighting over their placement in the bus. I would have preferred to spend more time walking some of the trails in nature or to have been given more time for exploring. Additionally, one night the hot water went out in our accommodation, and everyone had to take cold showers. This trip was entirely too costly to have an experience like that and there were not any concessions or apologies made for the experience. Finally, the hotels were situated in the most remote of locations with nothing to do or no one else around. When I travel, I like to interact with the people of the country, not just other Americans on the tour. Where was the cultural immersion experience, where was the fun? Where were the bag pipes? Could I recommend this trip, yes, for my parents in their late 70s, but for my active friend group of 40-somethings, no, not at all.

I spoke with the customer service team and Lorna was very apologetic for the experience that we had. She mentioned that the things I described were uncharacteristic of Nordic Visitor tours and they generally are great for all age ranges. She gave me credit for the night we had without hot water and a discount code for a future tour. I appreciate the apology and the act of good will to make things right. Nordic visitor seems to be a very caring tour company.

We chose a six day trip which was too short. Would like to spend more time in cities. Did not have any free time to speak of.

Our guide, Barbara, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. However, a situation arose with a couple who consistently inconvenienced everyone else. I feel they received preferential treatment. The situation should have been addressed on day one and in a much better manner.

John, our driver, was excellent.

I want to update my review. We had a lovely trip to Scotland with Nordic Visitor. My complaint was about a situation with other travelers that had nothing to do with the quality of the tour. I have spoken with a lovely lady named Lorna at Nordic Visitor. She listened and understood my complaints. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
