This look like really good network I’ve got an excellent data. The phones don’t go down through the Internet they’re just a very good network and they run off by EE .

The website information wasn't clear…
The website information wasn't clear enough and led me to believe that all plans can be used for roaming so I bought a £2.5 lite plan but when I got to Belgium I found that the minimum cost for roaming plans was £5. I contacted customer service via web chat and Sid was very nice to help sort this out swiftly and switch my plan to the £5 plan. Only 4 star as the website information needs updating.

This company has got everything going…
This company has got everything going for them. They clearly invested money into getting the website and iOS app developed but there has been so many issues with their service.
Just now my iPhone 15 Pro was only connecting to EDGE and no 4g/5G was available, until I restarted the phone.
I thought I was the only one but someone in the prior review mentioned they are not receiving calls and anyone attempting to call their number go to voicemail that says "This number is currently unavailable blah blah". I actually had lots of people say that they have attempted to call me but it never went through. This is clearly an issue on their side and I have mentioned this countless times to their support who have promised to resolve it but it never got anywhere, clearly issue is still present.
I really tried to like this company and there are a lot of interesting and promising features but they are not bothered or qualified enough to fix those.
Just now I tried to upgrade the price plan and it failed saying I already purchased it which is total nonsense.
The saddest thing is I want them to succeed and I shall change the review score when they fixe these issues.

A con - they have stolen my money!
I ordered a new SIM and pre-loaded it with £10. When the envelope arrived that should have contained the new SIM there was nothing in it!
I called Now Mobile to tell them there was no SIM in the envelope and was told a new one would be sent out. I waited 5 days and nothing arrived so I tried to call them. The first time I called I entered the number that had been allocated to the missing SIM and got an automated message saying the account had been suspended and then it cut me off. The next 3 times I called I didn't enter the number but instead waited to be put through to customer service and on all occasions it sounded like it was just connecting me then it cut me off again.
So then I tried using the chatbot on the website which says it typically replies within 4 minutes. 25 minutes later I am still waiting.
You have £10 of my money, I have no SIM and you are refusing to speak to me.
Avoid this company at all costs.

The Now Mobile is currently unavailable
Often when someone phones me on my android phone connected via 4G with reasonable signal strength, my caller gets this message "The Now Mobile you have called is currently unavailable, please call again later" this has been happening for months now. But I don’t get this with a ‘3’ SIM card in.

Not so good so far and I have serious doubts?????
Was looking for a low cost sim for my mobile tablet and as it only gets used periodically ideally looking for something with a low top up to keep sim active. I came across now Mobile through a comparison site and in theory suits me. I setup my account through Gmail, ordered the sim with just £2.50 credit and 5 days later the sim arrived. Popped it in my tablet and thought all seemed good. Tried to make a call "call can't connect" tried freephone - all ok. Contacted CS to mention can't make a call and the reply was "You have no credit" I informed that I paid for and showed them the online banking app transaction for £2.50 and still same issue I cant access data or make a call and I have to wait till Monday for someone to verify. I also said that my account has no mention of the credit and no call hx or data hx as its like my account is not setup correctly. The CS guy asked for a order number from the email - I did not get any email confirmation of the order so could not give it and he also did not recognise the Now Mobile number I gave. Not looking good so far

Switzerland no longer included in free roaming.
I've been happy with Now Mobile until this week when I've discovered that they have dropped Switzerland from their list of free roaming countries. It still says Switzerland is included on the website and in the app so I'm pretty upset as I've just arrived here for a months Snowboarding and it ts going to cost a lot touse my phone. My sim worked here fine in November and I've received no notification of the change. Switzerland being included in free roaming was THE reason for choosing Now Mobile.
I've been offered 500Mb data free for the month, it's something but I'll have to scrimp on usage.

Top-Notch Service at Nowmobile
Just had to sort a SIM card swap with Nowmobile and I've got to say, I'm properly chuffed with how it went. Sent a chat message to Peter – what a star! He was dead patient and helpful, sorting everything out over a few chats. Just got on with it and got it sorted. It’s mint when you get service like that. I bought a NOW sim to port my old number. And its been 6 days it hasn't completed the process. My old number is not working so i am loosing work and facing problems in my daily life.
Every time I call customer services same guy Michael is taking call same person every time. That shows how bad is the network. And he also doesn't have any answer, just technical team is looking into the matter that's the answer. I am in bug trouble my wife is pregnant and i am expecting call from hospital and.....

Just don’t bother
Just don’t bother. Not even a basic FAQ on their website, and won’t respond to emails. It seems they don’t support tethering - not that they are willing to state as much (this is based on me never having an issue tethering current phone to other networks in the past, but fails on Now Mobile).
Small edit: review written over a week after email sent, plus a chase several days later.

Although my inquiry has not been fully finalised, l do appreciate Michael's assistance who kept helping me to get back my old Now Mobile SIM Card and to recuperate the voucher which l nearly had lost, due to the faded numbers.

Ismail is the hero of this company
Joined Now mobile in 2022.
1.Problem started porting over phone number. The port didn't work. Sent an email and a chap called Ismail Y sorted out the problem.
2. Next problem was monthly plan wouldn't renew each month hence SIM would just go dead. Call centre could not resolve. So again sent an email direct to Ismail. Each month he manually put through the renewal and gave extra allowances as compensation.
3. Went to Tenerife in Nov 2022. EU roaming didn't work. So phoned the Now call centre from a family members' phone who was on another network with free EU roaming. Whoever we spoke to tried some things and concluded there was a problem with the handset. This was completely wrong. Again sent an email to Ismail who fixed it within 2-3 hours. Also gave me his whatsapp number incase of further problems (how kind!)
4. this year changed handset to a 5G handset, but wasn't getting 5G. Raised problem with Now via webchat and call centre. Didn't hear back. After a few days I contacted Ismail. He sent some replacement SIMS asking me to try a couple of things, and report back findings. Based on these findings he then did some magic (no idea what) but got the original SIM to somehow pick up 5G! So again Ismail to the rescue
I think Ismail is the Superhero of this company. If he left , I think the company would break.
The guy is a genius and one of the most customer centric people I have come across (and the only reason still with Now). I think Now Mobile need to send everyone else to Ismail to learn how to problem solve. If he ever leaves the company I would probably have to leave as no-one else so far has managed to fix anything. I will say though all the staff are very nice and do try their best , but unfortunately Ismail aside could not resolve the problems. When the product does work, it is very good.

Had a very good experience recently with a NowMobile customer service agent (Peter). He was professional, courteous and patient. He listened to the issues and explored all the options to resolve my problems over a period of a few days. He is a credit to NowMobile who should be proud to have such great employee who really cares for its customers . Thank you very much Peter
