1. My order was completely wrong. I’m diabetic and there were high carbs that I didn’t order. I said no fish and there was fish. There were 8 of something that I hadn’t ordered at all.
2. I called to cancel. I really tried to understand the Latino person but after the 4th attempt of her not being able to understand my phone number, I politely asked for someone in the US. I was on hold for 37 minutes and finally hung up. (Punishment?).
3. I called back and asked for customer representative. Again on hold forever.
4. When you order you have to agree to automatic refills unless you cancel in 2 weeks. I guess this is how they keep you from canceling.
DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT

I in good faith, based on previous use of Nutrisystem, prepaid for 3 month plan.
The food is not at all the same quality as before and items that had new packaging were not as pleasing.
Popcorn snack items are full of hulls I can go on…
Let me say that when I asked to cancel future deliveries and get a refund I was told that “IF YOU CANCEL YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND”. How is this even legal.
Is this how this company increases their revenue?

Don’t sign up with them if you want peace in your life. They will text you and email you and spam you and continue to contact you and spam you every day and you will go nuts so don’t order from them. Even Dr. Gundry spam is easier to handle than Nutrisystem, that’s my two cents. I’m sorry guys but you’ve been doing this to me twice now I’ve given you my money twice. I think you need to do better please. I spent time out of my day to come here to tell people don’t order from you if they want peace and quiet every day.

Good luck canceling this membership! They basically harass you when you call or chat to cancel. I told them on numerous occasions I was canceling as I used it as a weight loss "kickstart" and would be cooking at home moving forward. There are plenty of other options out there (e.g. Factor) that offer similar portion control and caloric count for the same price (and taste better!) Do yourself a favor and don't subscribe!

I wanted to cancel my membership and future autoships. I called 4 times to the the 800 number where they send you to another "department" to cancel your membership. In one of the most aggregious practices ever, they simply don't pick up that extension. I even put the call on speaker while I worked and TWO HOURS later, I was still on hold. I pressed the key to get a call back and NEVER received a call back. I went through their useless virtual bot chat and all it did was tell me to call the same number I called 4 other times. I emailed them and it got kicked back. I removed my financial info from my profile approximately one week prior to a scheduled autoship and this company STILL billed my debit card and put me in a terrible predicament of over drawing my account. Let me repeat - I removed my card info and they STILL billed the card. This should be ILLEGAL! After talking to my bank, I'm going to have to cancel my card in order for them to STOP billing my account. This company refuses to cancel people. They refuse to pick up the phone, answer emails or cancel accounts.

FALSE ADVERTISING ON DELIVERY DATES
I placed my first order on August 31,2024. Nutrisystem claims orders will be within 10 business days or less. My first order is not scheduled until 9/28/2024!! That’s practically a whole month away however I paid in full but can’t start until the end of the following month. If you want to start this system plan on not getting your first delivery about a month later.

IMO this is an unethical, deceitful organization. Food is barely edible, but I signed up for the discounted 2 month 20 meal plan. It was my intent after fulfilling my 2 month obligation, however, they shipped the 3rd month without any notice. I called upon receiving notice of the shipment, which, had not been turned over to FEDEX and the clerk lied and told me the shipment had been made. They also snuck the shipment out well before the 30 day shipment interval. I will refuse delivery of the shipment and dispute any charge to my credit card. It is my strong recommendation not to do business with Nutrisystem.

They do not honor your meal choices, and customer service is trained to lie. Even though I chose my own food (supposedly), Nutrisystem made multiple substitutions with less desireable choices, including replacing 6 lunches with their liquid powder for shakes. When I called, I was told that their "chef" replaced my choices with lower calorie options for the first shipment to "help" me lose weight faster. I finally demanded and got customer service to agree to ship me 4 additional snacks to replace 4 that I hate, but they still won't ship them until my second shipment. The food is not great, but for me this is a 2 shipment plan to get accustomed to eating less. I'd never eat this stuff any longer than that.
Update: I had purchased a "7 day money back" deal, and after tasting a few of the entrees opted to request a full refund. It took a bit of persistent conversation, but Nutri-system did honor the agreement and gave me a full refund.

I researched premade weight loss meals and decided to try nutri systems. BIG MISTAKE. Took 10 days from order to delivery which I can live with I guess... my problem is on the web site they keep saying they have coaches... u can contact them for help at anytime. THAT IS NOT SO..... you get a robot???? that gives generic WRONG advice and answers. If you use the help web site ---- Well im still waiting for a response. Consider doing another program. Marie Osmond must get better customer service than the rest of us..

I have used Nutrisystem a few times and it's been ok. I decided since there was a "sale" I would pick out my food for a month. I didn't get the food I picked out. I got a lot of things I would never eat. When I called and asked why this would happen, they said I picked a plan that called for them to pick the food the first 7 days. I asked him to pull up my order because that is NOT what plan I chose. It clearly said that I chose a woman's plan and could pick my own food. He didn't apologize or....offer to make it right. I would have been ok with the error if they would have sent me food I would eat. If I am paying $200.00 for a month of food on a diet program, and they send you what you didn't choose or wouldn't eat, I think it says they only care about sales and not whether or not you lose weight. There are plenty other meal services that are amazing out there and they do care about customer service. I know that Nutrisystem is less expensive, but if you can't eat the food, it really doesn't matter. I have decided to try Jenny Craig for two weeks. I am serious about weight loss and they let you pick your food. If I can look forward to meals, I will be more successful. Lshyken

I wish I’d read other reviews before I ordered 2 days ago. Nutrisystem ad on TV and home page on website showed $249 per month. AUGUSTSALE promo. Nutrisystem did not honor that, and when I realized problem on charge, spent over an hour yesterday with no response from Nutrisystem on chat, phone, or email(which was returned undeliverable). Further, they won’t cancel and refund!! I think they are very unethical, bad customer service. Today customer service “wasn’t aware” of that promo

I tried to contact customer service and no one answered the phone. I was put on hold for an hour. I tried multiple times and no one answered the phone. Terrible customer service.

What`s the point of this scam? A child couldn`t live on these portions, so you have to cook something anyway to eat with it. This was my wife`s idea..not mine. I was excited to try the beef burrito for lunch..it was the size of an egg roll. You can add a protein or a salad with these tiny servings, so again what`s the point? You still have to cook something and I can`t do a salad every day. The chicken parm with pasta was horrific, we both tossed it in the garbage and ate a real burger. Nothing but processed food crap. Do yourself a favor eat real food, just watch your carbs and portion size`s.

Hello everyone, I want to leave a review about the Nutrisystem company, this is the first time I have encountered such an attitude towards customers, firstly, they sent an expired package of food, I reported it to mail twice, no one even answered me, then I wrote that I wanted to cancel and send all the food back, since it did not suit me, I have pain in my stomach and my liver is groaning in pain, I asked to return my money, since I suffered from the food, and they have a guarantee of return, to which I was told that there will be no return and eat to your health and lose weight ... of course I will not leave the process unpunished, I will move on. But I want to warn everyone, be careful with this company, they will take the money, send you who knows what kind of food, and I also got poisoned from it, DO NOT BELIEVE SCAMMERS

The first time I tried Nutrisystems, I was twenty years younger and lost twenty pounds. Twenty years later, I joined up again in 2023 and lost ten pounds over six months and was happy to continue, but it was way too much food (if combined with flex meals). They are aggressive in delivery. I delayed a shipment by two weeks, then received the regular shipment again, two weeks after that. As I was trying to stuff all of the frozen food for two orders in a small Whirlpool Princess freezer, I slammed the door shut on my right hand while trying to keep the food from falling out of the freezer, crushing my my carpels. $699.96 for two months of food delivered in two weeks; $1734.90 total for five months of hard work trying to stomach most of the processed food; hand in a cast; canceled the gym and gained back everything I'd lost, plus some.

As to the food itself...The frozen foods come in giant cooler-size, styrofoam boxes that require a trip to the landfill where they are buried—excessive, not environmentally friendly packaging. It's like burying a Yeti cooler in the earth every time. The only way to prevent that, is to order dry food and microwavable meals in a bag. The food is highly processed. Too many sugary breakfast offerings. Some of the dry lunch offerings are barely palatable—too many sugary bars. The freeze-dried eggs of twenty years ago were great, but to get eggs now, you have to order frozen. The non-frozen dinner meals in a bag are pretty good. The frozen meals are all good, but again, the styrofoam cooler packaging has to go into the earth.

The food that was advertised with the plan and tasted the best, was usually out-of-stock or vanished without explanation. So lesser quality substitutes had to be made.

The Numi app is a plus, but in the end, there is no exit plan for maintaining your weight without Nutrisystem once you've reached your goals. I was disappointed that I gained back ten pounds that cost $1734.90 and took five months to lose.

I’ve used Nutrisystem in the past and had great results….I was ready to give another go here in 2024 BUT WOW all these reviews are absolutely a buzz kill. I remember my last time things seemed to be going down hill a bit in customer service and ordering APPARENTLY I was right and I’m just going to say this: customer service matters. There’s no way I’m going to spend my hard earned money here with all the recent issues. Fix your company and repair where you went wrong (which was probably cutting your workforce and trying to go more software-online-Ai related) before you lose your entire brand. I’m pretty sad you’re no an option in my plan anymore—-

I have been a regular Nutrisystem customer over the years - I typically need only 1-2 months of food to meet my goal of losing 6-10 pounds. I have always enjoyed this system until this July of 2024. I signed up for a month and made sure autofill was not checked. Despite this, Nutrisystem sent me an autofill order my consent. When I tried to get my money back, I was told that I could not and that they changed their policy to automatic refill with no notice. Additionally, I did not receive the meals that I ordered and cheap ones were substituted. Customer service at Nutrisystem is non existent. Run!!!!!!

Pretty much echo what everyone else is saying about customer service. I used their products for two months with decent results. TRIED to sign in to my account to select food for the next order, for three straight days and all it would say is “server error 500” TRIED calling, for three straight days. Never spoke to a human. When it said it was forwarding me to someone to cancel my account the line would go dead. So now I am calling my credit card company to block this company. Never again.

I am a returning customer with Nutrisystem and have never been so dissatisfied this go around. I had a goal of losing 40 pounds and achieved that goal within about six weeks. I used the food that Nutrisystem provided initially, however, I was able to maintain and even lose weight eating healthier foods at reduced portions. While I appreciate what Nutrisystem has done for me, I no longer needed their services. I went to the website to try and cancel the program where I was only given a phone number that you had to call and talk to someone that very persistently tried to talk me into staying with Nutrisystem. She offered a reduced dollar amount for the next shipment, told me that it would be better to get the food and use them every other day, and that by not using the food would most definitely cause me to regain the weight. After telling the somewhat rude lady that I was not going to go forward with the program no matter what she said, she told me that there would be a $125 cancelation fee due to the promotion I received when I initially ordered. I told the lady to cancel my plan and expressed my frustrations, telling her that I would not be coming back ever, nor would I be recommending them to any of my Army friends and family. As soon as I hung up the phone, I received a notification that $125 was pulled from my checking account. It seems that they are quick with some things…

I just got off the phone with Sabrina at Nutrisystems. I called because I did not feel I got the order that I thought I was going to get. I had used Nutrisystems before and was very pleased with the results. This time I received shakes that I did not order because I already get protein shakes from another company I am involved with. I only got 20 snacks when I was expecting 40. Sabrina proceeded to tell me that the shakes were the 2nd snack. She then told me that since I ordered Complete 50 5 day plan that's what I get. I had paid for 3 months. She said I can't change it until after my second order since I prepaid. She then wanted to argue and said "did you read what you were getting before you clicked order?" Obviously I missed the differences but that still doesn't explain why they can't adjust the order before my second shipment. It is terrible customer service to argue and use your details to show a customer they were wrong. I may have made the mistake of not realizing what I was getting but there is no reason to not be able to fix that problem. I prepaid 3 months. I finally told her to get me what I wanted to give me a refund.

Nutrisystems. Great product. Terrible Customer Service.
