Terrible Customer Service
Nutrisystem has changed quality of service,product quality, concern for you! Your order will be wrong, and when you call to report it they leave you on hold for over fifteen minutes hoping you will hang up. If yoour unhappy about the service you can cancel your second order of auto ship for $12`5.00 and no apology. They are actually ready for you to cancel because they then take in more profit by this additional charge. The quality of the food has gone away. I made an honest mistake and as a return customer from years ago, i expected to get quality service and product like the old days. Take this company off your list, do not beleive the commercials,print ads, or other recommendations. I am very disappointed in this company and ripped off financially from their cancellation policy. My advice is do not beleive any thing they say and read reviews!

Nutrisystem is a complete and total dumpster fire! do NOT use this program. Not only are they expensive as crap, they won't accept returns (probably because people would try to return it daily)
I set up my account to go out on the 4th week of every month and they jumped the gun and took money out during the 2nd week of the month and only would offer me $30 even thought it was THEIR fault for going out 2 weeks before I had it set up. They claimed that I changed my time but couldn't give me proof of this.
this company is 100% a rip off. They should be investigated and shut down.
In an age where most can "cancel" any kind of service without the need of talking to someone who tries to keep you on board by bullying you Nutrisystem does exactly that. they force you to have to call them so that their rep's can bully you or (entice you) to try and stay with their horrible company.
God forbid you try and call them BEFORE your window of time comes up as no one will pick up the phone and while they do seem to offer that whole "someone will call you back" no one does.

Not trustworthy and will rip you off
They offered me a 6 month plan that whenever I ordered their frozen meals I would get 30% every time I ordered. Of course I had to pay the price but I thought it was worth it and I liked it a lot. Until 3 months after and they took it away without any reason. When I called to complain they said they have the right to change. I was ripped off and lied to. I strongly suggest no one use this product, the menu keeps getting shorter and they’ll screw you in the end. Horrible company

DO NOT TRY THIS PROGRAM!!! IT IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!!!!! I decided to try Nutrisystem again. I had had great luck with the program in the past. After spending almost an hour with someone ordering my food for each daily meal, in detail, I was not sent all of the items that I ordered. Someone else in the company changed my order to send me some chocolate bars for breakfast for the first week to fast start my weight loss. However, I could not eat these bars because I am highly allergic to caffeine which I had clearly explained to the person I placed my order with. In addition, I was not sent all of the lunch items that I ordered. As a result, this entire process has been very frustrating. In addition, I have not lost the weight that I wanted to lose which was only 7 pounds.

Most of the food just isn’t edible. I went to cancel and was run around for at least 20 minutes! I kept explaining I was at work and just wanted to cancel! So keep this in mind! It’s not worth it I promise!

I think it's time to sue Nutrisystem. I see they gave up responding to complaints on here because let's face it thousands of complaints it probably becomes tiresome. Let me tell you read your ingredient labels. It will likely say BIOENGINEERED food ingredient(s). I developed NEUROPATHY while doing the program. I then am on their most expensive program and their Sesame Broccoli Beef contains fake meat. I saw dark brown chunks and removed them and they are firmer texture than gelatin but this supposed meat goes right through the grooves of the fork. What is it? I know the World Economic Forum says we should consider eating bugs to save the planet from elites caused climate change but is this Frankenstein food the solution or a warning of what is to come? I complained about freezer burned upon receipt food from overuse of dry ice and the fake meat in these meals and because I was cancelling they would not do anything about it. I started yelling and was told they would disconnect the call because I was being vulgar. I never used profanity. They said we got your money and there is nothing you can do. I tell you what you can do, call your credit card company and do chargebacks. You can go back up to 6 months of charges and quality is a very good reason for dispute which is what I will do. I worked with bank that had their own Visa and let me tell you people won disputes on less to complain about. Nutrisystem only cares about one time sales and that's it. Has been using Marie Osmond for decades and whoopie she lost a little weight. More money goes into advertising than the food they are selling to you. TopClassActions is another thing to consider as together we could also sue.

To get your refund if you are unsatisfied in the first 7 day mean before you even receive your food you need to cancel. If I knew the food was so tasteless I wouldn't have tried it.

Read the fine print and don't trust them with your info
Similar experience to the other reviews here. They try to charge you for canceling, then customer support tells you it's your fault for not reading the fine print. The food was about what you'd expect (not good), but atrocious online experience. I feel kind of bad for support reps because they're just regular people who represent terrible companies to make a living, but it was definitely a bad support experience as well. Telling the customer, "You should have read the fine print," is a lot like saying, "You should have known not to trust us." Lesson learned, Nutrisystem.
Horrible customer service
I ordered the first package and everything went well. I hated the food. Snacks are ok but the food is awful. Then I am charged almost $500 on my credit card. I immediately call them and tell them I didn’t order anything. They say that when I bought it the first time I automatically subscribed to the meal plan. And that they couldn’t give me a refund because the order had already been fulfilled. They said they sent me an email 72 hours before but I never received it or I would have cancelled the order. Now I’m stuck with terrible food I haven’t even received yet. And I have to pay for it. It’s ridiculous. Never again. Do not recommend to anyone.
SO disappointed 2nd time around
I was on Nutrisystem about 2 years ago and decided to get a few more pounds off recently. I liked the food and the company years ago but it is unrecognizable now. The customer service reps you get on the phone and ones you chat with seem like they cannot be bothered to help or answer questions. I know how orders work because I've done this before, but this time I put my 2nd order on delay through the automated system. For whatever reason that date did not stick and NS was shipping a few days early. I hadn't picked my foods yet and I hadn't gotten paid so when I got the email I immediately called cust serv. She proceeded to tell me that even though the order was just sent back to the warehouse and not fulfilled yet, there was nothing they could do. It was going to ship. I tried to speak a supervisor, etc. Noone cared. I told them I was going to refuse the dry and frozen order when it came. Again, they didn't care. I did refuse both and got charged for both. So I was without the food and out $300+ dollars. I tried working with my bank, but they have gotten very laissez faire also about helping it's customers. I would NOT recommend Nutrisytem to anyone. I'm sure there are other companies that really appreciate your business and want to be helpful.
Lack of quality all around. From food to customer service.
This is basically bars and boxed food with little taste. Can't cancel online. They indicate they have a text chat for customer service, but it's just a bot, that pulls information from their FAQ. When you call you are on hold. I'm on hold 40 minutes so far, probably because I indicted I want to cancel account. If I said I was new customer I'm sure they would answer right away. Steer clear of this and work on your own to lose the weight.

Did not receive notice of 2nd shipment and when I called was told I would be charged $520.00 for the food plus $425.00 cancellation fee, when asked to speak with mgr was not transferred. Food has too many carbs for me and did not help me lose any weight.
Unable to opt out of emails I am now receiving from them.

Garbage company with even worse food. I should have read more reviews. Everything is EXTREMELY processed and full of bioengineered ingredients. Everything that causes cancer! Cancelled after my first month and they charged me $125 but its cheaper than another $450 for awful food. They scam you with the cancellation fee due to how many people cancel. Its unethical.
Deceptive practices, horrible customer service
Sent me the wrong food, when I contacted to let them know of their error, they insisted it was my fault and told me as a 'courtesy' they would exchange 10 items. Bad start, told them to forget it and I wanted to return everything for a refund, they charged me $125 cancellation fee. Took 2 months to dispute with credit card company, which I won. Thinking I was stuck with their food, I tried to eat a few items. They hurt my stomach and found more than one piece moldy upon opening. Decided to return everything with their 'money back guarantee, no questions asked'. I received an RMA, sent package at my cost, but was refused a refund until credit card dispute was finalized. Called them once a week until resolved, then they said they never received returned box. I had tracking and proof of delivery, they finally agreed to refund, but would only refund 30% the value of the gift cards used. I am now currently disputing that. It has been a nightmare going into its third month.

The other reviews are correct, the cs tries to tell you that you can NOT cancel after the first shipment and before the second. When I demanded they cancel it, there was a hidden $125 charge. This diet is mostly bars and highly processed tasteless food.

Nutrisystem used deceptive advertising to makwe you think your are getting a discount and they make it very difficult to cancel an order. You cannot do it online. You have to do by telephone and the rep continues to try to dissuade you from cancelling. And, to top it off there is a hidden $125 cancellation fee.

I am very disappointed in how this company does business! They are supposed to be a diet plan for 28 days. When you are on a plan in which it is auto delivery one would assume they would send the next months supply in a timely fashion so that one doesn't run out. Sadly, this is not the case! They charged the full amount for the next order but only sent a box of 12 snacks and 4 packets of granola! When I called today they hadn't even shipped the rest and said it could take up to 10 days to receive!!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Buyers beware!!

They charge you a $125 fee if you cancel after the 1st shipment and before the second month's order is placed. Just be aware that is their "Policy" and the way they treat their customers. Their customer service has been unpleasant to deal with, to say the least.

Just another diet where you may or may not lose like Jenny Craig and Optavia and they are all expensive. Eating healthy is also expensive, but not as much. You need raw fresh vegetables, fruits low in sugar, protien with mostly eggs, fish, chicken, and cut the sugar intake daily by eating pistachios instead of chips, power bars instead of chocolate. You can get these great 70 calorie brownies at Walmart with great fiber. I have lost over 80 lbs on my own and kept it off because I do not diet. I did a lifestyle change.
