Poor communication, especially if there is something wrong. I had to return my glasses for a refund but got no where when trying to communicate with the company. Now having to try to get the money back via my payment method instead. Avoid.

Brilliant glasses at a great price. Online ordering was easy and there are lots of really useful guides and information on the website. What was really useful is they provide examples of what different companies prescriptions look like and what numbers go where. Did have a problem making the payment but spoke to them on the phone and easily sorted. They asked for an email copy of my prescription so they could double check which was good. Only a week between placing the order and glasses arriving, including the delay for the payment problem so very impressed. Now Ive been able to try and check the basic glasses, I'm placing another order for the same but with added extras to the lenses.

My cycling glasses developed a problem- one lense fell out of the insert and was lost. I called and emailed requesting a replacement only to be told to send the glasses back. I asked if I could order and pay for a replacement insert several times over several weeks. No response, no call back. Disappointed.

The glasses I got was having very narrow focus they are no pleasant when reading. The other par to see far away never came. I contact the company writing to them but now its more than 24hr with out response. I ordered together the to par glasses. And I got only one bad coordination. And the quality is Chinese quality but the price is pretty english. In the order confirmation there is not order number but in the post from Royal post is only a number so if you tell them what er you missing you have no order number so I don't know if I get , I glasses. This is tipical for poor leadership. They grow to fast, but they don't build capacity only extract the money.

I have just received my latest order and as always..'Perfect'. I have used this company many many times over the past 12-15 years i suppose, and will continue to do so. I have purchased glasses a few times as their prices i found, could not be beaten and by quite a lot in fact. Recently I have only been having my glasses sent to them to update my newest prescription along with sunglasses. Its a simple process of filling in the prescription numbers and picking what lenses you want and thats it. This last pair which I received this morning were ordered paid for and received back to me in under a week. No-one can moan at that! A very happy customer once again. Thank you 🙏

The lenses were complicated (lens were varifocal transitions and 1.74 thin) and I was quoted 2/3 weeks. My glasses arrived just under three weeks later and feel quality so far.

I read some of the reviews before I placed my order but any questions I had were promptly answered which put my mind at ease. My PD and SH were requested too which my previous Varifocal lens supplier hadn’t asked for.

I don’t doubt some people had bad experiences but I also think people are more likely to post more negative reviews than positive ones.

Now to try and get on once again with the varifocals lenses.

My only suggestions are to:
a/ have a more streamlined update process on the my order section. I.E. payment received, glasses sent to lab etc which may stop emails to ask for updates,
b/ include name in email responses so we know who we are chatting to and makes it that bit more personal.

Bad customer service ,rude tried to cancel could nt ,i have sent glasses back because of the attitude..

It was so easy to do, they kept in touch with me and let me know step by step what was happening, and when I received my glasses I was really happy with them. In the future when I need more new lenses I will definately use Online Opticians UK. The price was good too.

Overall very happy with bi focal specs with transitional light lenses.
I was disappointed that 10 days after placing my order they asked for clarification (hadn't started the order). However they said there had been a delay with my frames. All in all, order took about three weeks. They arrived in a hard case. They are good quality and I am happy with them. Good, but a bit of a wait. I'd like to add that this is my first experience of ordering specs online. For what I wanted, the high street quote was £400+ abd as I'm waiting for cataract surgery, I didn't want to spend much. I got these for half the price.

Easy ordering process and good communication on the order progress. Couldn't ask for more.

I accidentally broke my reading glasses from OnlineOptionsUK.com so ordered another pair exactly the same. Took just over a week to arrive. Glasses & lenses fine, great quality. Dropped one star as I ordered another pair of reading glasses from another company & they arrived 3 days earlier.

The glasses were good and well priced. The overall experience was a little concerning though. The website would be more encouraging if it explained that payment would be taken via a payment link (as this came as a bit of a shock). Also, no timescale for delivery was obvious. They took about 3 weeks which was fine except that I was initially expecting them sooner

I’ve had two pairs of glasses reglazed, including a standard varifocal pair. On both occasions I have been most impressed with the results; the price, the quality and the speed of delivery.

Ordered some Raybans. After several emails chasing delivery Online Opticians eventually said the frames were broken during adding the lenses. The last frames in the colour I had chosen. I decided against another colour and asked for cancellation of order and a refund. I might have given the benefit of the doubt about the reason for not being able to supply the glasses.

My main grief is that despite several emails chasing a refund (you only get an answer machine if you call) the only way I got my money back was through PayPal resolution centre. Several messages saying the 'accounts' would look into it over many weeks but it wasn't refunded.

I would never use this company again. Customer service poor, but not returning refund money is plain wrong. Look at other 1 star reviews before you decide. There are plenty of others who have had the same

Great service and delivery.

I ordered lenses with scratch resistant coating and anti-glare coating at extra cost but received plain lenses.
They have ignored my emails so far.
