I have used them a few times in the past and never had any problems. Unfortunately it’s not the case this time. I placed my order on 28th July. The order status still says ‘payment received’. I have sent numerous emails and called several times for an update. I had two responses in total. The first on 17th August which said to bear with them until the end of the week. I followed up on 24th August and the response was they were checking with dispatch and would get back to me shortly. It’s now 4th September and I’m no further forward. I understand that some orders may take a while but the customer service is terrible and complete lack of updates is unacceptable. They have £300 of my money and I have no glasses and no sign that I’ll ever receive them. I will now be seeking a refund via my credit card.

Easy to use website, great service at a reasonable price

I ordered reading glasses nearly 2 months ago and received them 2 weeks later. The lenses were like milk bottle bottoms so thick which I’ve never had before and my optician told me there wasn’t much of a change in my prescription. To read my iPad I had to have it 6 inches in front of my face and that wasn’t even clear. The frames were cheap sh*t. I wasn’t expecting much for the price and they were for wearing in the house but totally not suitable. I sent them back 3 days later, have contacted the company 3 times with no response. It’s now September I still haven’t heard from the company. Don’t waste your time or money.

Order not received after 4 weeks. After inquiring, I have been told by email the spectacles would arrive soon after the 14th of August. Following answers just said "We will come back to you". Phone support is useless; it is a voicemail asking for your order number in order to call you back.

I placed an order for reglazing my existing sunglasses. I had an email from them on 24th July confirming that the frames had been received and that I should receive my reglazed sunglasses in 5 to 15 working days - I am still waiting!! I have sent numerous emails to their customer services without response and have left three telephone messages, again without response - Terrible customer service and I have no idea if I will get my glasses back - I am considering contacting my credit card company to get my money back at least

Fast, good price, accurate prescription

Great flex glasses as described and they arrived pretty quickly.
Bit nervous to whom I was buying from, but for anyone else this is legit online optical site, from my experience. Thank you again.

Awful, awful customer communication. Glasses ordered 2nd July. Had an email requesting sent prescription which I did immediately. Heard nothing for ages. Emailed several times and left phone messages (they never actually answered the phone once, just asked for messages to be left), they did not bother to reply. FInally had an email promising to follow up - 3 weeks later no more contact. After my last email asking them to either send me the glasses or cancel the order they just cancelled and did not even bother to send me an email explaining what had happened

I have used this company several times now and have always been impressed with the service I have received.

I have received what i ordered, I can’t tell the difference between my other “zeiss” glasses, it arrived in two weeks. Great budget pair, same thing is as twice as expensive in specsavers.

Quick, perfect and really nice experience. My glasses came with a lovely hard case lined in a velvety type material. Lots of options for glasses and communication for when delivery occurs is also on point. Thank you again for my amazing glasses

Cost is the only benefit. Horrible website for capturing prescription details. There are zero updates or useful interactions forthcoming when you want to know what is actually happening with your order, which takes a long time to arrive. The no quibble guarantee is anything but. Expect the owner to suddenly start responding and quibble about everything. Avoid like the plague.

Like the glasses but took 3 weeks to come.

a couple of years ago I had my sunglasses reglazed and got outstanding service and so I thought I would upgrade them. It has been well over three months since I placed my order and I'm still waiting! I've had emails thanking me for my patience but got fed up and asked for a refund and my frames returned but now the emails have stopped. firstly they admitted to breaking a lens in manufacture, it happens and I was patient, I placed my order (and paid in full) on May 30th. I wanted them for my holiday which has come and gone. I plan to take action for a refund on Monday August 10th. Such a shame considering their past excellent service. Even at this late stage they could redeem themselves by sending them next week!!
Here we are Friday 11th September 2026 and still no contact from Online Opticians UK (onlineopticiansuk.com) I contacted my bank and got a refund, very easy to do. However Online Opticians I fear have STOLEN my frames. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO REGLAZE YOUR FRAMES
