Glasses not as ordered should have had 80% tint but arrived with plain lenses.

I am pleased to come across online opticians uk. I provided my prescription and choosed a frame from a wide range of frames and I had everything done with 10 days for more than 50% of Specsaver's cost

One more thing to say it was easy to communicate with the sales rep who was quiet knowledgeable and friendly

This is the second time using Online Opticians UK. For our prescription safety glasses. I cannot fault the service.

I had misplaced my prescription sunglasses and realised this 10 days out from our summer holiday. Online Opticians were excellent and managed to get a new pair to me the morning we left (against all the odds). The glasses are varifocal and not the most straightforward. What arrived is perfect, I’m very pleased with them. To have been fortunate enough to find a company which would help me like that, I am very grateful for. Straightforward ordering for a spare pair of glasses (re glazing) using the original opticians prescription. Good communication throughout for receipt and despatch. Excellent value compared to opticians prices. 5 star service. Highly recommended.

Very easy, quick and straightforward service to replace lenses in my old glasses frame. Perfect.

I am deeply disappointed with Online Opticians UK. I sent in my own frames for a reglaze and paid roughly £220 specifically for premium Hoya Lifestyle lenses with Transitions. While the physical fit of my own frames is fine, the lenses they actually installed are clearly poor-quality, budget lenses—not the premium Hoya digital lenses I paid for.
​To make matters worse, their terms and conditions sneakily state you must contact them within 48 hours of delivery to log a return. Because I work away from home during the week, the package arrived on Tuesday, and I couldn't physically open and try them until Saturday.
​Baiting customers with premium lens names, and hiding behind an unrealistic 48-hour return window for working adults is shameful.

After a delay in delivery, the glasses came in perfect condition.
A couple of contacts with their sales sparked a reply to a problem which is now resolved as best as possible.

Glasses are fine, lenses seem to be okay too, i had a pair of bi vocals with transions lens. They did take nearly 3 weeks, although I did get a reply to my enquiries regarding the timescale. They said this is due to the complexity of the lens, however I had a second pair somewhere else and they took much less time with my order. The only gripe I have with the bi focal is the ridge between the lens and bi focal section, it is so deep it collects dirt.
I would use them again, but not if I needed the glasses quickly

I ordered glasses from this company just under 8 weeks ago. I have been contacting them a number of times with often no response but when they have responded it was to ask me to take a review down from online and to tell me after that further delays due to lens damage? I am still awaiting a response when asking for estimate delivery dates and latest email asking for a refund?
I have phoned all numbers listed on there web site at various times and all automated responses? very poor and frustrating experience.

Had ordered no prescription/reaction glasses about six months ago which was a success so used them again for a couple of pairs of reading glasses. Ordering is relatively straightforward, prices are a lot better than the high street. What I particularly like is that they only charge £5 to reglaze your own frames. I had a number of frames that were virtually new and could be reused. Very efficient, communicate well, quick service and excellent value.

Good price for designer frames and varifocal lenses, excellent customer service when I contacted the company and very helpful, and really fast delivery once my glasses were ready. Would definitely recommend the company and would use again in the future.

What an awful company, they shouldn’t be allowed to trade.
Late (2 whole weeks late), rude, obdurate - really poor service and dire communications.
And their phone line doesn’t work with iPhones.
