Took forever not to be trused

Took forever to say they were coming, then they said they had been delivered at a time when my wife and I were home. Nothing had been delivered, I told them and they sent photos of a package on the ground in front of our unit block. I asked for a refund. They have ignored me. I have asked my bank to reverse the credit card payment.

Dreadful unprofessional company. Don't go there.

After over a year long debacle with this country I have probably decided to give up. The work had to be redone & redone because they made such mess of it, list my glasses then miraculously found them again but the work was still not done, they offered me a free pair to compensate but they never appeared. Probably the worst company I've ever dealt with.

Avoid

Avoid. Purchased a pair of prescription glasses and didn't receive them. Chased and was then told that the frames had been damaged and I needed to select another (I see from other reviews I'm not the first to receive this). Selected another frame and still receive the glasses. Chased again only to be given the same excuse that they were either out of stock or broken. Have requested a refund and am yet to receive any correspondence on the matter.

I ordered glasses 5 Nov. 5+ weeks and 3 different excuses later I have not received my glasses! later nothing but different excuses...

I ordered glasses 5/11, received no updates, tracking on website is pointless. Have followed up many times and 6 weeks later still no glasses.

1st Excuse - After several contact attempts "Your single vision glasses are not eligible for 3 day turnaround because of some parameter on the prescription.

2nd Excuse - "Your glasses were made but somehow the frame or lense has been damaged or broken (the old retail classis "it didn't pass our very strict quality assurance test" excuse). Promised to fix it and dispatch it ASAP.

3rd Excuse (12/12): This is the first time I was actually contacted by the company with any update "The frames you ordered are now no longer available and you have to pick another colour. Glasses will be dispatched next week". Needless to say I won't be holding my breath.

I honestly never write reviews but this has truly been the worst experience I have had as a consumer in my 45+ years of life! At this point I don't actually expect to receive the glasses at all and I am kind of looking forward to the next excuse.

Avoid the stress and go somewhere else.

Sent my glasses for replacement transition lenses 2 weeks before leaving for overseas. Recieved the glasses back after a week with a new set of lenses but no transition effect. Had to fight for a resolution which in the end was to send them back for the correct lenses after I returned. Had no communication after I sent them back and ended up out of pocket for postal insurance from sending them away twice. Oh and the original lenses were just chucked in the case loose on the return trip.

I bought two pairs of glasses from Optically and was really impressed with the whole experience. The service was excellent, communication was clear and friendly, and my order arrived quickly. I even got personal updates from the team. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality eyewear at a low price and great customer service.

Terrible

Terrible! Ordered a 3 day turnaround and heard nothing 5 days later! UPDATE: Their website needs to be CLEARER about single vs multifocal turnaround. It is not on the page that advertises the 72 hour turnaround with the lens or the purchase page. It is on another page altogether. If there is a disclaimer on the 3 day turnaround put it UNDER or NEAR your ‘72 hour dispatch’ on the buy lens page, not on another page as shown below. Misleading copywriting.

Your order includes multifocal lenses, which require custom manufacturing. As stated on our website, right at the top on the 72-hour dispatch page, orders with multifocal or customized lenses may take additional time for processing and dispatch. Sadly I sent a pair of new Persol…

Sadly I sent a pair of new Persol frames for prescription lenses, and the frames came back to me hyper extended. Can't wear them!
I complained, and Optically denied they had been responsible.
Hint - photograph anything you send to them for proof of condition prior to them working on the frames.

Oh dear. Another online order FLOP.

I ordered a pair of optically.com.au (OP) glasses (Order Number: OD-AU-REDACTED) as zennioptical.com (ZO) prices had increased since I last ordered from the latter.

OP boasted a 10 ~ 12 business day dispatch time - I received the glasses via Australia Post 23 (regular) days after ordering from OP - NOT HAPPY.

I opened the case containing the glasses to discover the poor quality and flimsy nature of the frames and lenses - NOT HAPPY.

I attempted to put on the glasses and noticed an immediate and appreciable outward bend of the plastic frame arms - suggesting that the glasses had not been correctly made for the pupillary distance (PD) I had provided during my order - NOT HAPPY.

I ignored the outward bend of the glasses, and attempted to look through the lenses of the glasses. I was immediately met with a fuzzy, non-focussed viewing experience that made me dizzy - NOT HAPPY.

Absolutely unacceptable product from OP. I never had any issues with ZO when ordering glasses.

These glasses were ordered because they were "cheap as chips," but unlike some cheap chips, they are not worth the newspaper they are wrapped in.

A pair of glasses purchased from an all-purpose store for $3 work better than the product I was given by OP.

An absolute waste of my time.

Given my disabilities I will not be going to the post office to return this item - just not possible - nor will I be buying a printer just to print a 'return label.'

If OP do not issue me with an immediate refund I will be contacting my payment processor and requesting a charge-back.

Not the happy ending I had hoped for.

Extremely disappointed.

Needless to say, I am pleased with this outcome, albeit frustrated at having my time wasted once again due to another online order FLOP.

My Take-Home Message:

How many times have you heard some thoughtless bozo say "You get what you pay for?"

Purchasing a cheap or cheaper product doesn't necesaarily mean that the product is (should be) inferior compared to more expensive products.

OP glasses are cheaper than ZO glasses, but that doesn't necesarily mean that they are always inferior products relative to more expensive alternatives.

In this instance, the product received was unacceptable.

I'm reluctant to try OP again since receiving another unacceptable product might result in my blowing my stack (like Milton the Monster).

A Few Things OP Might Consider:

- when I ordered online and opted to pay for my OP glasses by PayPal, I was not shown any clear option to enter a delivery address. As it turned out, the delivery address employed by OP was that associated with my PayPal account. Not a good idea OP - some buyers may prefer an alternative delivery address

- the glasses were received several days after the indicated 10 ~ 12 (business) day dispatch time

- a response to an e-mail query I sent to OP support following delivery of my unacceptable glasses was received several days after the e-mail query was sent to OP

OP have the opportunity to show "You get what you pay for" bozos wrong.

C'mon OP - lift your game and send these bozos back to the circus where they belong!

I wish OP the best of luck as I suspect there are some good people working there.

Nope nope nope

I ordered from 72 hr quick dispatch range - it has now been over 13 business days and still no glasses. was advised my Rx "unable to be processed" without additional charge. When i complained, was told - they COULD BE PROCESSED AFTER ALL - and extra fee would be waived. Just wanted a refund… when requested was told "you have to let us serve you" ... notified yesterday a refund now approved after my 2nd request . What a palava!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE I placed an online order over 2 weeks ago and was told that the glasses would be sent out within 10 to 12 business days I followed up after the 12 business days to then get sent to text to tell me they haven't received the script and that they sent an email the day after which I never received

You would think that if they haven't heard back from me within two weeks that it would be good customer service to actually follow up with a text or a call however nothing I have not heard a word written text or anything whatsoever

Straight forward and easy

I had two pairs of glasses I loved, optically replaced the lenses so now they are great and up to date.
I have an odd eye condition so my script wasn't average, and they checked with me before proceeding to ensure their work was satisfactory.
I'm very happy with the result.

DO NOT purchase from this organization. I ordered two sets of glasses, one for my wife and one for me, for $920.30. My glasses took 21 days to be sent. My wife's glasses still need to turn up. It is now over a month. The only communications from this organization were to request more money after I placed the order, and then all communications have been instigated from me. When contacted, they never have answers. We have used other online Glasses suppliers, and this is the worst experience ever.
I highly urge people to look elsewhere. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I bought multiple sets of glasses from this company.
Pros - cheap
Cons - they say 72 hour turn around that's simply not true two orders took months. Product quality is poor on the cheaper frames to be fair it might be good on the more expensive frames but the ones I bought shattered simply on closing I then notice there's no support wire through the plastic and the plastic is not tough but brittle. Custom support following up was okay but can take days to get a response.
As they say you get what you pay for. If you understand the cheap glasses may only last a couple of months no problems if you're lucky they may last a couple of years
