Oxley Garage Doors Reviews 

After shopping around for a Cartek garage door, I found that Oxley offered the best price by a mile. They made the door to a specific colour to match my front door and installed it yesterday. Darren and the installation lads were efficient and cleaned up after themselves and the service and quality is first class, well recommended.

Oxley Garage doors was booked to service a roller shutter and was told both before and when they got here NOT to touch the control setting, but they changed the setting anyway and then said to put the control setting back to the way they found them they will have to add something the shutter has never needed in the 20 odd years it has been up and it will cost hundreds of pounds to do, they then refused to return and put the control setting back to the way they found it and then said they had to do that so i told them they should NOT of even touched the shutter then and they brushed it off so i have paid them to put WD40 down the runners and to change the setting to something i dont want

Didn’t bother to turn up. Due between 8am and 9am for his first job. At 9.30 I was told he had gone elsewhere first. At 10.45 I was told he was on his way and would be there in 30 mins. At 12.15 still not turned up. I had to do the chasing…no-one had the courtesy to call me and I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable! Really poor service.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered our garage door over a month ago. Once the deposit was taken I received zero updates as to whether the door had been ordered or when delivery might be. I chased on several occasions to which the receptionist couldn’t provide any updates. I emailed asking for a refund and to cancel the order and this is the only time they promptly replied to me. Not convinced they ever even ordered it! Wouldn’t recommend. Waste of time.

Wouldn't recommend Oxley garage doors to anyone.
Had garage door fitted 18 months ago. After 10 months marks, creasing and chips appeared.
Then the door started to bag up ( curtain gets stuck in side channels and continues to unwind)
Had Oxleys down, they did a 75% service foc.
However bagging up happened 7 more times.
After several visits from them including MD.
They said they didn't know why. I then did my own investigation and found that the door laths were catching on the side rails. They wouldn't agree with me. However I ended up paying for a new curtain, and their fitter who fitted it agreed with me and did a modification to stop this he noticed that some of the end caps in the laths were loose which would catch on the side plates. So for me their 5 year warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Just had a roller garage door fitted first class service and excellent installation couldn’t fault the company and a quality product

No longer a local business - I believe they are part of a big outfit out of town and I found their approach to be very pushy

Made an enquiry to support with a gate problem, but after several attempts to get a quote I gave up. Disappointed.

We are a charity that has Oxley Shutters over the windows and doors.
These have proved to be unreliable and temperamental. Oxley, in fairness, have been quick to come out every time they fail, however their charges for repairs and call out are ridiculous. The last 'engineer' inflated the time his repair took and a 40 minute repair was charged at 2 hours.
Therefore a significant amount of our funds, which should be used to help our clients, has found its way into the pockets of Oxley Shutters.

A guy came out to measure us up for a garage door for us. That was 2 weeks ago. So 2 days ago we rang to get the quote as they had not called us, we were told that Steve would call us back and still nothing. Not impressed as we are in business ourselves and would not treat customers in this way! Still waiting for a quote!
