So pleased I went with Paloma and I would recommend other parents to do the same the staff was so friendly and understanding they were so brilliant with my boy. I'm so glad I went through this channel from the start of January the referral weren't through and short few months From start to finish

Used this as a right to choose provider for an autism assessment for my child. I think the whole process including assessments has been a few months. Staff were very professional, kind and understanding and the clinical psychologist was excellent with my daughter during her assessment couldn’t recommend them enough.

I was recommended this service by a friend who was in the process of using paloma for their own child.
From our referral from the GP back in December 2025 we received a diagnosis by the end of April 2026 in this time we were currently on a 2 year waiting list with the local council service.
I honestly could not recommend them enough.
The paediatricians were absolutely wonderful on the calls, making you feel comfortable and at ease to talk with them, never judged or questioned your answers. Paloma Health have given us a huge step in the right direction to getting my child the help he needs in life.

We were referred to Paloma Health via Right to Choose. Our GP initially recommended another provider but when I looked them up my son was too young to be assessed by them so I did my own research. From the first contact they were really helpful and responsive. The website and resources are very clear and accessible. We understood they don't like to cancel appointments but it can happen so we ensured everything we booked for travel and accommodation was flexible just in case. Chris assessed our son and from the moment we met him he completely put us and our son at ease, so much so he was happy to do the first part of the assessment without us. We joined for the latter part and it was clear our son was having a great time and he found Chris fun to be with. For the parent part I had Robyn and she equally put me at ease and enabled me to open up. The report arrived quicker than I expected and it completely captured our son. The outcome meeting followed soon after and was also really helpful. I wholehearty recommend Paloma Health

After many years of fighting for help and getting a diagnosis, the staff at Paloma Health were absolutely incredible and kept us updated from the moment we got referred to diagnosis there was nothing that we was not happy about. The whole timeliness 3 months from referal to diagnosis which compared to my local waiting list is outstanding.

I was so impressed with my son’s ASD assessment. Great communication from start to finish, really understanding staff at every point and a really comprehensive fair report at the end that was received quickly. I’m definitely hoping to go back for his ADHD assessment.

Both of the clinical professionals we encountered at Paloma Health were caring and experienced and the report we received at the end of the process was excellent and very in-depth. The school SENDCO reported that she never before seen a report so reflective of a child's needs.
However, the organisation of the face-to-face meeting was needlessly stressful and poorly managed. We were, in the end, given three different appointment times (one of these being sent five minutes before our appointment was due to start). There is no telephone number available to make contact with the staff who are booking the appointments and the assessment itself took place in an office building with no signage and no instructions in the confirmation email about where to go when you got to the building.

Staff at Paloma are lovely and professional. The fact they offer remote or in person child observations was a big hit for me as my child hates cameras so she wouldnt co-operate with a remote assessmemt. Also staff explained everything in the report in simple terms that were easy to understand rather then all the technical jargon. Thanks Paloma

After waiting several years on the local NHS waiting list, right to choose was suggested. I choose Paloma because of the in person appointments in Exeter and seeing great reviews. They were great from start to finish. Always replied quickly to any emails that I sent. The modules to read through whilst waiting were very helpful. All the staff were lovely and very patient. The report was very through and I would definitely recommend them.

We have just been through the Paloma Health service for our 6 year old daughter. We found the whole process from start to finish incredible. The updates of wait times each month, the short wait from referral to diagnosis and the service from the clinicians. We cannot speak more highly of Stephen and Chris. They were incredible understanding and supportive. Stephen was informative but not bombarding us with information. He ensured we understood everything he explained and elaborated for us when we needed. Chris was amazing with our daughter for her face to face observation. He was supportive, patient and kind. Engaging and managed to get her to let her mask down very slightly. Which was incredible to see. Thank you Paloma Health, for making us feel heard and for supporting us on this new journey. It's been an incredibly positive experience.

We had a very positive experience with Paloma Health through Right to Choose on our GP’s recommendation, after a little battle our MP had to get involved with when the funding was stopped by our local ICB. Despite the fight, Paloma eased our assessment experience greatly in many ways: they were clear with information about the process from start to finish, they provided a portal with training about the process and how you can support your child throughout - all easy to digest but written by professionals, they emailed about the process and clearly communicated the hold up when the NHS funding was paused by the ICB (hence the MP getting involved) and when we were again able to proceed, they picked the case back up so quickly, we had received appointments by email before we’d heard the outcome of our complaints to the ICB and MP. The assessment itself was very low pressure and very well suited in terms of environment and demand for neurodivergent children and adults alike - Chris in particular had a wonderful rapport building ability to make my child feel safe while being assessed. Staff we met were professional, caring and 100% focused on the child and their needs and this seeped through everything they did- face to face assessments by play, interviews, outcome reports alike. As well as a report, the outcome call was a nice touch, allowing me to process the outcome and ask any questions and Robyn was so generous with her knowledge - I made notes of further signposting ideas. I really would recommend Paloma as they made us feel like we mattered - more so than anyone else on this journey so far.

Deciding to go through the process of finding out if your child has autism is quite daunting but the decision to go through this route was made so much more positive by paloma health the wait was short the guidance and advice you receive whilst waiting for the appointment is invaluable and the assessors that we had were amazing so kind patient and understanding

Our daughter was referred to Paloma via the GP and the right to choose pathway. From referral to diagnosis the whole process took less than three months. The team were very helpful, informative and supportive throughout. Everything was handled efficiently and we are very pleased that we chose Paloma. I would highly recommend selecting them if you have an older child to be assessed through the fully remote pathway as for us it was a quick and painless process that means my daughter will now be accessing the support she needs far quicker than she would have via other providers.

Recently used Paloma for my son to get an autism diagnosis. Whole process took less than 18 weeks from doctors referral to diagnosis. Support team great very informative and proactive. Assessors both lovely and informative. Made my son feel at ease. Report is brilliant and really informative and easy to understand. There is an online portal you can log into with loads of information and courses. You can also use it to upload any necessary documents. Entire process really easy would definitely recommend.
