Why are they so bad. SInce Cretinski took over it as got even worse. No mail deliveries in 10 days at home. Also we use them on ebay and are constantly having to refund orders for small amounts where tracking is more than the cost of the item. Lost 14 orders in 1 month - totally shocking, you take peoples money and then give a totally me unacceptable service. Time to look for another carrier, should have the 'Royal' removed as there is nothing regal about this business!

Waited 2 days for my tracked and expensive tracked delivery ! Supposed to have been within 48 hours delivery , 4 days later and after royal fail changing delivery times whenever the felt like it , (4) and after waiting in for 21 hours as I trusted they would deliver within the stated times ! They didn’t !

And that’s the whole of the country from what I gather , no one trusts Royal Mail anymore ! Possibly the most useless lying and incredibly poor customer service that is virtually impossible to get through to anyone, in the world 🌍

Waiting for 2 parcels that were posted 48hr and still not delivered after a week. Very poor service and expensive considering they can’t deliver on time

Just on the line to try and speak to someone about a missing parcel (having exhausted all non human options). I have oodles of time to write this because: 'Your estimated call time is 46 minutes.' Don't try and call them, they really don't want to speak to you. It is no wonder the recorded message while you are waiting says: 'we would like to thank you in advance for showing kindness and consideration to our team as they do their very best to help you'. They know full well that they do not have enough staff to cope with all the enquiries and that most people who hang on for that long will be at their wits end by the time they get to speak to a human. It is pure greed. My estimated wait time has gone down to 27 minutes, I can hardly contain myself. SEND HELP.

I was trying to change delivery options online..all ok,until you get to the submit button..of course its do nothing..tried different post offices..nothing..tried to call them..est.waiting time 54 minutes...even Evey isbetter option than this sh*t

Well,you call yourself Royal Mail,you're a bunch of liars. You have sent me two delivery times,I have waited in...nothing. Today you said you attempted to deliver... I have cameras...nothing ,nobody appeared. You should be totally ashamed of yourselves. You obviously never look at your reviews,none of them are any good.

Just does not seem to deliver. They have had a parcel of mine since early Friday morning (4/9) and arrived in a depot less than 20 miles away around 2pm but they are not able to deliver it today (supposed to be 48 hour tracked). Now says delivery before or on 9/9. Is really putting me off ordering from any company that uses Royal Mail.
Last time I ordered something, they delivered to the wrong address!

Missed a delivery on the Thursday, website wouldn't let me select a date to re-deliver. Finally got through to an automated reply to get it delivered on the Saturday and they still tried to deliver it on the Friday when i wasn't in.

The service is diabolical. I haven’t received mail for weeks and have missed hospital appointments because important post has not arrived. Parcels are regularly late or don’t arrive at all. I am currently waiting for a parcel that was due yesterday. Royal Mail repeatedly changed the delivery time throughout the day, eventually giving a delivery window of 6:35pm–7:30pm, but it never arrived. The tracking still says it was due yesterday, despite the parcel having reached my local delivery office. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

Absolutely awful. Worst delivery company known to mankind. 1 delivery of letters every 2 weeks in Manchester. Parcels sent from ebay sales lost and parcels from purchases never received.
Go with Evri or DPD if you possibly can

18 days for one card to be delivered for our friends anniversary. We posted it very early. As we’ve had previous issues. It Arrived 5 days afterwards….along with several other cards. Also delayed. It could so have easily ruined their special occasion.

Website says 2/3 days. Tried to complain on their website. No transparency or ease of use. Apparently I can make a claim but not complain. I only want my complaint noted.

Not interested in compensation. As I assume - I would just receive stamps. Which would be pointless if they withhold mail for 18 days. It’s no longer a useable and consistent service for me. It’s a pity…

Waited in all afternoon for a tracked 24hr Delivery not sign of it got an email at 16 30 saying they had tried to deliver it but it wasnt possible the delivery time the said they had tried was 17 03 over 30 mins after we got the email saying they had tried , no body had tried as our drive is covered by cctv , this happens on a regular basis and i have had a few of these emails they are not only useless there liars , i tried to ring the complaints line which was very hard to get through i was on hold for 35 minutes then got cut off

I really needed a parcel for today and the vendor arranged 24 hour deliver to try and ensure it arrived. despite saying it would be delivered at lunchtime it didn't turn up today and no feedback from Royal Mail to say there was a delay. What a rubbish service they provide.

Lied about attempting delivery, stating unable due to property being “inaccessible”. Later turned up and delivered a parcel to the next door neighbour with no issues. I’ve lost count of how many parcels have been lost, dates have been pushed back and how many lies have been told regarding delivery attempts. Useless and I’m shocked there’s nothing being done to change the way this service operates. Honestly I’d rather deal with Evri, you’ll get a smashed parcel but at least it arrives.

Waited in for a parcel ALL day, watched the royal mail van pull up in front of my driveway, look in the back of their van, get back in and laugh and drive away.
It's genuinely the worst service ever and I don't know how they still exist.
I get 1 delivery per month in my town, 1 with 30 days worth of hospital letters and council bills.
It's absolutely ridiculous and I find their service just absolutely useless.
Just received an email stating "we're sorry we were unable to deliver your parcel" literally useless.

I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM 1 STAR - ITEM STILL HASN'T ARRIVED EVEN THOUGH I PAID £4.45 FOR TRACKED - SENT BEFORE DEADLINE FOR 2-3 DAYS AND NOW END OF 4TH DAY STILL NOT RECEIVED ! I MUST REMEMBER NOT TO USE THEM AGAIN!!

couple of failed deliveries. i know have tried to use automated service few times and it failed. rang number on red cards, whichever extension i tried (3 of them) got kicked off the system. just ringing number for local royal mail and 40 min hold estimate - what a flippin disgrace!
3.6 billion net worth - time the government did something about this. it's gone from an esteemed profession to a rip off company that isn't fit for service and for sure the employees cop the flak

Ordered something tracked 48 four days ago no update apart from its in Nottingham Mc its been sat in Nottingham Mc since the second of September I only know its still there as I used universal parcel tracking and it pinged it at 8am this morning saying its still in Nottingham MC no update on Royal mails tracking apart from the same its in Nottingham mc waiting to go to local delivery office I am near Derby so its not too far away so what are they playing at? it still hasnt arrived today and the morning post has been and gone. I will update if it ever arrives if not I will have to contact the seller ten years ago Royal mail was very good now it seems a rot has sunk in. Edit it arrived today four days later at the silly time of around 8pm way later than the 5.30 7.30 time. They delivered but way over the 48hour mark dont think I will be using them again if I can help it.

Shocking service and impossible to contact, especially having to spend hours on hold!
Also their postmen discarding the rubber bands outside on the pavements!

Why would anybody use rayal mail anymore. They are so bad compated to ALL other providers. 3 packages due tp be deliveeed today - one tracked and garanteed 2 48 hour service - none turnwd up. Same day 2 dpd delivered on time as planned and evri a day early! Tjey realy are usless and need in give up.
