Tricky contract termination : Everything seems to be working fine and although pricey, the services provided are as described. My only disappointment came when it came to closing the number. As mentioned, I did ring up the office to provide my month notice which has to be via phone or email only. There were no questions asked and termination was acknowledged over the phone but no emails so I went back again a week before for PUC codes to transfer the numbers where I found out that they would require another month to get a PUC code which no one mentioned while when I spoke over the phone. Parent Shield Team please make it bit more know to Parents for such things

As parents of a child who is about to start walking to school on their own for the first time, we were concerned about her safety and want her to have the ability to notify us of her safe arrival/imminent departure but do not want her to be glued to a device so a full phone plan wasn’t want we wanted. We also want to have the ability of monitor her usage, messages and call without having to go through her physical phone.

Looking at the tariffs ParentShield provides, there wasn’t one that fit our needs so I thought I’d try my luck and ask some questions via the online chat which is where Cody came in. I explained my needs and he immediately suggested a tariff that fit our requirements, he then stayed on the chat and answered my various, and sometimes silly questions, quickly and efficiently. Once my order was put through, I set up my portal profile and got back on the chat to request a secondary person, Graham for help on this, who again helped me so much. I then had another question and got back on the chat where Julie then supported me.

All in all, I am very happy with the service I have received so far. Every advisor I have spoken to have been great.

Have been a customer for a long time now and needed to use the chat service that they offer after having fraud on my bank account my payment to them had failed, straight away was given clear and effective advice how to fix the payment and normal service was restored to my daughters phone. I said it last time and I say it again the “big” phone companies good learn a lot from these guys

We had a pretty great experience with Parent Shield. The team was very responsive and helpful when we had any issues or questions. Things work pretty much like they say. We only had slight issues with using data on the phone. Our son says he sometimes doesn’t have access to the data we’ve paid for, but other times it works just fine. No idea what the issue was, but it wasn’t a big deal since he mostly used data on WiFi anyway. It wasn’t not a bad thing that he couldn’t use it while out and about.
The system is great for giving the kids a bit of experience with a phone and yet not overwhelming them or putting them at risk with unfettered access. I am very pleased with it.

They are so easy to deal with and full of advice. My son is 11 and going to secondary school, so needs a phone as he will be riding is bike. His primary school has a big issue with bullying with WhatsApp and other applications so we were a bit nervous. Parenshield have alleviated most if not all our concerns and we have been using it now for a few months without issue. And my son is over the moon with been able to stay in contact with his friends.

The whole process to set up was terrific and the service excellent. Better still, any questions are answered by Parentshield staff by e-mail, chat or phone immediately. The app is easy to use, the whole system a brilliant idea and there is no need to be ‘good at technology.’ I am recommending Parentshield to anyone I come across who worries about phone safety.

For the first time, an App that actually works on your child's phone correctly! It's so easy to use, simply put the provided sim card into any unlocked phone, even a brick type Nokia! and away you go!

Every time I have to contact the company the experience has been great. First it was a new SIM as my son lost his. It came so quick.

Having been very reluctantly forced into providing my daughter with a phone due to circumstances, finding ParentShield has been an absolute godsend.

It is everything I was looking for, but didn’t expect to find in a market that simply doesn’t deal with the very basic and obvious issues of children owning phones. ParentShield addresses virtually all of my worries and concerns and leaves me feeling like I have complete oversight to be able to actively manage my daughter’s phone usage and protect her.

It caters perfectly for our need, of my daughter being able to be contacted by her mum between certain hours (selected by the parent user via a comprehensive portal), without having access to the internet/ apps etc., whilst allowing flexibility to manage changing circumstances and situations (which cannot be managed via phone settings alone)

ParentShield is the perfect solution that I was looking for because of its adaptability and flexibility to be able to set the phone up to meet any requirements. It addresses my biggest concern which was that there was no single solution out there that met all of my needs, there was always a compromise. However, the ability to tailor and actively manage the SIM to meet your requirements is fantastic.

It has clearly been designed with those parent concerns in mind but also allows for growth and progression, enabling the parent to gradually derestrict features as the child grows, meaning it is a long term solution too. It is easy to temporarily change restrictions in the portal to adapt to specific short term circumstances. It feels like there isn’t Any aspect of a child owning a phone, or parent providing a phone to their child that they haven’t considered.

The pricing is extremely reasonable and clear. There are no ‘unknowns’ and the range of tariffs have been carefully thought out to meet needs rather than to capture the user into opting for something they don’t need or want. Switching tariffs as needs change is easy too.

Finally, the customer service is beyond incredible and is extremely personal. I cannot praise ParentShield enough for how they have addressed my questions and needs in a very clear, helpful and extremely speedy manner.

I rarely leave reviews and rarely come across anything worthy of a positive review, but ParentShield should absolutely be the first stop for any parent, for multiple reasons…all of the important ones.

I will be recommending ParentShield to everyone because I care about the welfare of friends and families I know, and when I consider what that means, there can be no higher recommendation than that. ParentShield genuinely provides a perfect adaptable solution with exceptional customer service and I am glad to have found it, for my daughter’s safety and welfare…and my own stresses and worries as a parent reluctantly forced into my daughter having a phone.

This is a great product for introducing your child to using a mobile responsibly. I love the ability to restrict the time the SIM works and the reassurance that they can always contact an adult, even if they’ve used their data for the month. As a result our kids have much less mobile phone related drama than their friends! When we had any connectivity issues the call was always answered quickly, by a real person, who was friendly and dealt with the issue immediately. We are so pleased we found this product!

A real god-send to parents looking for first mobile contracts for youngsters - excellent piece of mind. And their customer service is second to none - absolutely can't fault them in any way, shape or form!
