Ordered on uber eats in Newcastle. Whoever works there doesn’t have a clue how to cook. Pasta nduja carbonara bland. Literally tastes of nothing. Pathetic really.

Unfortunately some of the dishes we wanted were not available but the pasta dish, we then ordered, when it eventually arrived, was very tasty but it was cold. We sent it back and it was brought back but was still only tepid. We were offered two free desserts because of this.
The staff were very friendly and helpful but were obviously run off their feet.

Ordered takeaway food through Deliveroo. Paid nearly £20 for Mac and cheese and it came underbaked in a creamy sauce. VERY disappointing! It’s all social media hype, the take away and kits are poor.

The hotel waitress staff in the restaurant are lovely, but Pasta Evangelists were frankly awful. Only a handful of items from the menu were actually available and we chose from that very limited range, only to find the focaccia looking as if it had been stood on after fast thawing and olives that were puzzlingly very chilled and hard. We left and went elsewhere. Having Pasta Evangelists effectively renting the kitchen really undermines Hotel Indigo York, which is otherwise a good place to stay.

I booked one of Pasta Evangelists' cooking classes while they were running a 20% promotion. During checkout, the discount code didn't apply, so I contacted customer support straight away asking if they could honour the promotion by refunding the difference as store credit.

Rather than looking for a solution, I was told that because I couldn't provide a screenshot of the checkout error, nothing could be done. I even suggested cancelling and rebooking as I was still within the cooling-off period, but was simply referred to their terms and conditions.

The amount of money isn't really the issue, it's the lack of flexibility and willingness to help a customer who contacted them immediately after purchase. A gesture of goodwill of a store credit would have resolved the matter, but instead I was met with a rigid "computer says no" approach.

Based on this experience, I wouldn't book with them again, and I wouldn't recommend them.

Absolutely appalling customer service from Pasta Evangelists.

I booked a table for four at the Winchester restaurant through the official Pasta Evangelists website, received a confirmation email, and drove 45 minutes specifically for the booking. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty. We stood waiting for around 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us.

When the manager eventually came over, she asked how I’d made the booking. I explained it had been made through the official website and that I had a confirmation email. Her response was simply to shrug her shoulders, blame “an IT issue”, and tell us to drive to the Guildford restaurant instead. Guildford is approximately an hour away. There was no genuine apology, no effort to help, and no attempt to take responsibility for wasting our time.

Trying to contact customer services afterwards was just as bad. The telephone number listed for Pasta Evangelists doesn’t even work, making it impossible to speak to anyone. I then used the live chat, where the AI chatbot asked me what had happened and promised that a member of the team would get back to me. Astonishingly, at no point did it ask for my name, email address or any contact details, so there was obviously no way anyone could ever respond. It perfectly sums up how broken the customer service experience is.

I then took the time to write a formal complaint to Head Office, only to receive a response from a no-reply email address asking me to complete a customer satisfaction survey. No acknowledgement of the complaint, no apology, no attempt to resolve the issue—just an automated request to rate the service. You couldn’t make it up.

I’ve previously enjoyed meals at both the Guildford and Harrods restaurants, which makes this even more disappointing. Good food is meaningless when the booking system can’t be trusted, the management show no interest in helping customers, the phone number doesn’t work, the AI chatbot makes empty promises, and Head Office responds with automated emails instead of actual customer service.

Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company deals with them. Pasta Evangelists failed at every single stage.

Would love to tell you about the food but didn’t even get it instead got the complete wrong order no communication from the restaurant at all and no way to properly contact them

If your like me and you saw it on Deliveroo but was unsure as never heard of but looked nice. I ca confirm it is by far the best pasta I’ve had it’s all homemade including the acc pasta had may dishes on 1010 I’ve become addicted

It’s now been 2.5hrs since placing and paying for order. Had notifications saying it’s on its way, it’s 2 mins away etc and that was nearly an hour ago……we ordered at 4:30pm so we had it by 5:30pm as we are a performing group and now have a group of performers having to go on stage having not eaten anything…….

Delicious dishes every time, the value is amazing I've never tasted so satsfying pasta recipes and I'm a convert , fully recommend.

Excellent pasta if a little expensive. Makes a very quick tasty meal.

This is the second time we've ordered a delivery order, first time via just eat, the 2nd time via deliveroo, both times they have botched the other and sent the wrong meals.
They might be decent if you need to eat whilst staying at the hotel they're based out of. But upon looking at other reviews I fully agree they are over priced for the portion sizes, we even paid extra for a supposedly larger portion just to end up with the 2 wrong meals, missing side items and small portions on the 1 thing that was correct in the order.
I gave forgiveness the first time.. maybe they were extra busy. But 2 times via to different delivery apps.
Either fire the chef , fire the prep person or get your sh!t together and get it flipping right.

I did a Sardinia pasta class in Richmond. The class was a lot of fun, the chef was great and very charismatic and the end result was very nice to eat.

The class was quite social and interactive with other participants.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the fact you only make the actual pasta and not the full dish. The sauce gets added to your cooked pasta at the end.

I can imagine the full meal would take a lot more money, time, space, utensils etc but I think that’s just what I had expected.

Great food at a very fair price. Delivery on time, as always.

Love one pasta dish, the lobster isn’t great and they very rarely restock the Tomato Focacchia on Uber, Just Eat or in general :(

For anyone who loves pasta this is a dream site to visit. There is a varied menu, and the website helps make choice and selection straightforward and you can be signed up and ready to go very quickly. The food is well packaged, delicious and simple to prepare, with many of the dishes ready to place straight in the oven. It feels like everything has been thought through to let you simply enjoy the wonderful food.
