From the heartbreaking moment of having to make the call to Pets at Peace, Sam's understanding and compassion at the end of the phone line was the start of the most comforting and supportive experience at the hardest of times.
Our adored rescue cat Roger had definitely spent all his nine lives before he came to live with us. After his previous traumas he learned how to trust and showed us his love. When he reached the end of his time with us we wanted to give him the dignity of not having to be in another clinical setting, but to be in his safe and familiar home. Kim came out and was so empathic and patient. She took the time to hear our gorgeous boy's story and understood the emotional conflict of not wanting him to suffer anymore, but also not wanting to say goodbye. Kim was the epitome of caring, compassion and professionalism. Ensuring at each stage our understanding and readiness, with no pressure or rush. As we said our final goodbye, Kim also arranged for Roseberry Pet Crematorium to come out and Ben was equally as supportive.
Roger is back home in the beautiful urn we had chosen, with his framed paw prints and a little jar of his fur. We cannot thank Kim and the team enough. They followed up with check in emails and a very thoughtful card with a heartwarming message. They are a credit to their service and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you

From the moment I contacted Paws
at Peace I was treated personally and compassionately. I was asked about the service I would like it and was handled personally. They made a very difficult time for our family a beautiful goodbye to our beloved boy. Everything was explained and it was taken at our pace and was so personal to us. I cannot thank Amanda enough for her compassion over the phone and for Neil who gave our beautiful boy a dignified send off with all of his family around him in our home. The service we received and their kindness and support afforded to us and our beloved boy was second to none.

I cannot praise paws at peace highly enough and I would recommend them without reservation. On that terrible day I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog they could not have been kinder or more understanding. But they went above and beyond that, in the days after checking in that I was ok and sending a very thoughtful card.

Empathetic, understanding and supportive from the moment I called. It was one of the most difficult calls I’ve ever had to make and Kim made the experience as manageable and straightforward as she could, explaining every step of the process. The care with which she handled our beloved border collie and kindness she showed us was exceptional. It was such a traumatic time and we will be forever grateful for her professionalism, understanding and kindness throughout. We would 100% recommend Paws at Peace. We got to see goodbye to Jeff in his garden & that is exactly what we would have hoped for him.

I spoke to Kim at Paws at Peace on a number of occasions before we came to the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved dog. At no time was she 'too busy' to talk to me, no question was considered 'silly', everything was explained & I was treated at all times with kindness & empathy.
When the day came, Abi arrived as arranged, she fussed Tess & told her she was there to help her. There was no rushing us & no time limits, Tess went into a natural sleep & was peacefully snoring - Abi respectfully left us to say our private goodbyes & only when we were ready did she give the final injection. A peaceful & respectful goodbye at home in her own bed with her toys around her. Her passing devastated us but she was treated with care from start to finish. Paws at Peace arranged everything for us & we had her back home in the lovely urn we had chosen in a few days. The aftercare is also superb, even sending a card of sympathy.
Losing a pet is devastating, they are family but KIm, Amanda & Abi made the end just a little bit more bearable, we will always be grateful that we chose Paws & Peace & we thank the whole team for doing what they do.

Amanda took my initial call and guided me through the procedure in such a kind and caring way. Abi, the vet who came to my home acted with such kindness and empathy in describing the procedure and in caring for Barney. He died in my arms so peacefully and Abi treated him with the greatest of respect at all times.
I can't fault Paws at Peace and I'm so grateful to them for making such a sad experience easier to go through both for Barney and myself.

Kim was a tremendous help to us when it was time to say goodbye to our special cat. Really kind, caring and helpful at a really difficult time. We didn’t plan ahead but Kim was able to come in 2 hours on a Saturday. 100% recommended.

We couldn't have wished for a better team of beautiful people to be there for our old girl Martha, and for us. They were able to make arrangements quickly and Kim, the vet who came to our home, is just an amazing human being. The vet was so kind and patient,we sat and chatted about Daisy and he gave me plenty of time to say my goodbyes,I could never have took her to the vet and caused her stressing her final moments,she went peacefully in my arms.

We contacted Paws at Peace in advance to prepare for when the time came to say goodbye to our beloved beagle Astra who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March. Kim was very supportive over emails and understanding of our situation. She gave us the reassurance and all of the information we needed. When the time came to make the call, Kim was supportive over the telephone while we were understandable heartbroken. Although we did not use the services of Paws at Peace because Astra sadly passed away in her sleep, we are grateful for the love , support and understanding and care from Kim and thank her for helping us during the most difficult time of our lives.

From the first point of contact, the whole team at Paws At Peace were caring and supportive throughout the entire process. It was an extremely difficult time for our family and Paws At Peace were extremely accommodating at working around us. They enabled us to say goodbye to our dog at home in a loving environment in the most peaceful way possible. Neil, the vet who came out to us, was exceptional. The process and appointment making was explained clearly so you know exactly what your options were.
A lovely lady called Kim came for the appointment. She was very caring and empathetic. The whole process was explained in a very sensitive way of what was going to happen. And was great during the process giving us time during the process and our dog had a very peaceful ending. For which we are forever grateful for.
Aftercare is also fantastic .
It is a wonderful company who actually cares.

Having to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved family dog, Buddy, was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. Neil came to our home and immediately put us all at ease, especially Buddy. The entire process was handled with such compassion, dignity, and respect.

Being able to keep Buddy at home with us during such an emotional time was the perfect way to say goodbye. Knowing he was surrounded by the people who loved him most, in the home he had shared with us for 14½ wonderful years, brought us immense comfort.

We cannot thank the team at Paws at Peace enough for helping to make such a difficult and emotional situation a little easier. Their kindness and professionalism meant so much to our family, and we will always be grateful for the peaceful farewell they gave Buddy.

My condolences on the loss of Buddy. Fourteen and a half years is a wonderful lifetime of companionship.

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful girl Skye last week, and Paws at Peace were everything we needed at such a heartbreaking time. From the very first contact they were kind, calm and incredibly compassionate.
They explained everything gently, gave us all the time we needed, and treated Skye with dignity and respect throughout.
Her final moments were peaceful and unhurried, exactly as we wanted for her. We will always be grateful for the care they showed our girl and for the comfort they gave us.

I can not put into words how this support at home meant to us. This is something I would highly recommend to do. Having your special pet at home passing is priceless. A wonderful caring business. Our special boy was with him family in his favourite place.

We had to make the sad decision to put down our 19 yr old boy. Tom was an amazing cat and also a terror who loved a good scrap with other cats. He brought us great joy and also hefty vet bills with his shenanigans. Unfortunately time caught up with him and he was struggling to enjoy his life having more bad days than good. So we contacted paws at peace and I didn't really know what to expect as I'd had a few bad experiences with vet euthanasia in the past. But they were all so lovely and considerate throughout the process.
The vet Neil arrived and I was extremely anxious but he put me at ease immediately. He was very kind and considerate and the procedure although very upsetting was so much better than previous experiences. I feel doing this at home made a massive difference. Thanks to Neil for making this less difficult for Tom on his next journey (adventure.)
